I’m so glad that this is going viral worldwide with reactors. Most reactors have been absolutely amazed and positive but some have been a bit less so. However, as they say all publicity is good..whether it be positive or negative. Kasey is showing the world that a great song can be done differently and have have a completely new impact. ❤

As great as the original was i believe this is one of those instances where the cover much like when Disturbed covered Sound of Silence has been done so differently and so well that they stand alone as a couple of the greatest performances ever. 🤘

Kasey Chambers is Australian Country music Royalty and is a house hold name throughout Australia.
She sells out 25,000 capacity stadiums in Melbourne and Sydney when touring .
Shes been playing live gigs since the age of 9 and usually has her brother and father (slide guitar) playing in her band .

Good reaction. Kasey is great partly because she's willing to wear her heart on her sleeve. If you want to see her in her 'normal' wheelhouse, I'd recommend her 'Aint no little girl'. As with most Aussie artists, live performances will usually be better.

I love this cover and I love watching reactions to it.
Kasey is country music royalty in Australia but she has never allowed labels to confine her and goes wherever her talent takes her. Some oldtimers like myself can see the ghost of Janis Joplin make an appearance in this performance with some of Kasey's gestures and the overall level of emotion conveyed. Who knew that thrashing metal banjo and slide guitar was something missing in our lives?

Yeah, I'm an older Aussie chick.... and frankly I believe Kasey is a reincarnation of Janis Joplin.... google it youngsters :D If you can somehow find 'The Rose' movie as well as Janis' music..... you'll understand what I mean..... Good reaction. Not what you expect, is it? By reputation she's a Country & Western singer, but this is sublime and transcends genres. We've got a bluegrass rock ballad version of a rap classic. It is very brave of her to try it - and she totally pulls it off. Sheer conviction. The band are amazing too. They've been following her through every note, and when they come in they are right with her, at the same intensity.
