- Hi, I made my very first chair(s).
It took so long from designing to making,
and it was a bit challenging since I've never made furniture has curves.
It still needs improvement (like carving right curve for arm and leg connection),
but I will do that later since I'm a little exhausted😂.
Thank you for watching and
stay safe.

I don't know if it's the music or the way these videos are filmed (probably both), but I find them very relaxing.
You make it look effortless, but I feel furniture like this is very hard to get right.
They came up beautifully. I love how the armrests bend around the back with the brass supports.
A testament to your skill and patience.
this has to be your best cinematography and editing yet, never mind the beautiful chair. Wow.
this is such an incredible, charming and beautiful build, the way you designed and worked on it made it seem as if you have 30 years of experience in woodworking, a true talent.
Always worth the extra effort in the end.
BTW, I LOVE your taste in music, and I don't even consider myself much of a fan of jazz, however, the pieces you pick are consistently outstanding.
do you use elevators to listen to music
@@lemon_boy577 loll the disrespect
I hope one day you show us your house with all of your "diy" furniture. Simply gorgeous
i have never fell in love with a chair before, but my breath was taken. I'm not lying when i say i teared up! Thank you !
That little brass piece in the back is just 🤌🏼
I was like OMG she is going to do loose tenons without a domino! Love the video.
I was thinking “this calls for a super expensive Festool domino tool”
Oh wait...niceeeeee
Wow! You're doing "wood whisperer" level work using "wood working for mere mortals" level tools !!
The woodwhisperer is a joke.
cant say that those are mere mortal tools, but can be thone with those. if it was done withoud festool domino doesnt mean that those tools are for "mere mortals" :) for example this bosch router price from 700 usd or above
@@robslifting4life Why?
HumanCorrector -
That router does not cost $700.....
HumanCorrector - that Bosch router is $350 at any Big box store in the US and online....
The only problem I have with this video is I can only give it one like, beautiful work!
Wowan, Woman, Woman ---More detailed than a man's inventions. Of course, it would be an excellent creation. Perfect! My style, my chair, my music. I love you already.
Most calming thing I have watched in a long time. Great video
The craftsmanship of this chair, as well as this video, is extremely impressive. You just got my vote!
This is not woodworking....this is art 😍😍😍
there is the art of sitting down, but there ..... we sit down on art. magnificent
Your taste in chairs and jazz is exquisite. 😊
Awesome video for those that like power tool noise mixed with their jazz. Fortunately I do like!
You could teach David J Marks a thing or two :). Seriously, the chair is simply amazing. The videography matches the elegance of your design.
INCREDIBLE design, attention to detail, music choice, and just WOW.... also loved the DIY domino router.
Beautiful pair of chairs! Excellent design as they look rather comfy......(might need a matching foot stool video.......LOL!!)
Am Speechless! Can somebody makes furniture like this!!! Awestruck!
I like people that build things with love!
High Craftsmanship 👍
Best furniture design on YT. You should post affiliate links for your tools to get some $$$
Very impressive!! Beautiful design and finish. People who give you a thumbs down are a special kind of person...
Everything you touch is beautiful. Still adore the t.v. stand you made.
Probably my first comment on youtube. This is wat youtube should be. Quality videos. The chair makes me think of giorgetti furniture.
Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful.
This is exactly what I needed to see in my feed after a stressful day
This makes me stress more because I just KNOW that I have absolutely no chance whatsoever of making anything like it! I don’t even have a single one of your tools or the room to put it
This chair is spectacular. ( and the soundtrack i fell in love with.)
Absolutely wonderful. From the woodworking, the music, the pacing. Everything first rate.
I keep coming back to this every month since a few years ago! future goals. Just started my woodworking journey this year :D
So I recently paid about $800 for a similar chair with not nearly that high of quality. What a great talent you are.
Just wow. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, design aesthetic, everything. Just wow!
I loved the idea of your home made domino router
Wow my mind is so blown. I just got into furniture restoration and this video came up in my algorithm AND I AINT MAD.
Now I understand why I’m spending $1000 for that chair.
If you got that for $1000, that’s a steal!
Most stuff is mass produced to drive down costs. You wouldn't get a hand-made chair for 1,000 these days...unless it's badly made.
@@MichaelAWhatchaGottaSay In the UK, yes, it costs around 1000
Depending on the quality of the cushions, this would be $3500 USD. No doubt.
And there's no way you could get this chair for $1000 in the UK. Good luck
Awesome work (it’s like play music over the wood) & perfect video edition, you must be proud twice. Congratulations!!!
Wow, the chairs came out gorgeous! Of anything we can build, chairs frighten me the most because of the engineering involved. You make it look, if not simple, then at least doable. Very well done!
The tapering jig is cool. Another stunning piece. Bravo.
after watching the patriot, i've always been afraid to make chairs. i've always wanted this mid century lounger - now i think i'll give it a shot. incredible video!
I'm speechless. Have you been watching tally ho? I noticed they did the same recesses around the joints on their deck beams. Those little details make your chairs really special.
a true piece of art .
Please keep making more of these videos - that was inspiring to watch!
Can I just ask - where did you learn to woodwork? What resources have you used to learn etc?
The fact that April Wilkerson has 1.2 million subscribers and you have 44 thousand is a joke! You are infinitely better in every way! I’m so glad I came upon your channel. Your skill level is off the charts and I love your approach to making videos. I wish you nothing but success. Keep up the tremendous work.
Look at the amount of videos. Only regular uploading of new content give you bigger audience. Sad but true.
OMG! DIY for who? Master furniture maker? LOL. All joking aside these are absolutely beautiful. Tremendous level of craftsmanship and talent. Video mood and editing was perfect. Wish I had the build plans for this chair though. Thanks for the upload.
A-maz-ing... So chilled after watching and listening to this superb video of you making a beautiful chair. Inspirational, if only I had a bigger garage!
OMG! this was your first chair? you're a pro man! Watching you build that chair make me wanna do DIY projects with you😅
My favourite chair build
This was super therapeutic. You are immensely talented.
Great job, Jenn! My hubby introduced your mid-century modern cabinet video to me and I'm hooked! U inspired me wanting to try woodworking too! Kudos on your works including filming, editing, music (love jazz especially the kind u pick), plus your cooking as well (love Korean food)! Just amazing!! Keep up the good work and look forward to your next masterpiece!👍👍👏 👏
Thanks❤️
A perfect woodworking video. No talking, the music was subtle and didn't intrude, the camera work was excellent. Thanks for this! What beautiful chairs!
Watching this video is like meditating for 30 min. What an amazing work 👏🏼👏🏼
I’ve been restoring MCM lounge chairs for a couple months now and this video is just beautiful. I love seeing these chairs designed and built. I love your use of Brass, and also how you don’t hide the woods natural grain! Every single time I restore a piece it feels like the original grain is hidden behind cheap toner, I even made my own method to make it pop out! You on the other hand do an amazing job with wood choice and also your finish process!
Stunning work!
Oh wow! This is perfection. Your house must have a collection of amazing furniture- a dream come true.
The project was tastefully designed, and well executed. The music was great and volume level was perfect to hear the work being done. Overall, well done!
I find your videos to be a great way to unwind right before bed, as relaxing as a gurgling brook.
Absolutely exceptional!
Oh wow everything about this was perfection! 😍
Who in their right mind would give this video a thumbs down, stunning work, very satisfying
How beautiful. Such focus.
Excellent job on those chairs as a first timer! Heirloom quality design and construction.
You make it look so easy. I now it isn't, but your methods work well. Thanks
LOVED this video. It's so soothing and informative! I especially love as your hands come into frame and slowly almost as if you're unsure and pull away the next portion of the build. I found it very funny. Not sure if that was your intentions but it was. Thanks for this video!!
Great vid. Great skills. Great Jazz selection. Just an outstanding presentation. Continued peace.
watching this sweet and jazzy work 😭😍
Great video! Love the processes and way you use your tools. Great video production and music as well.
Just wow! Beautiful craftsmanship, chairs, jigs, music and cinematography. So many techniques displayed. I have a long way to go but just know that you have inspired this old man.
That's bloody beautiful. Excellent craftsmanship. 👌
Outstanding ! Beautiful Work ! 👍👍👍👍👍
Nice way to get around buying a festool!
Wow, everything about this is amazing! The shots, the lighting, the workmanship, the design, the music... I loved this!! Thank you so much!!

A true master. Thank you for this video and loved the music.
Absolutely beautiful. The envy.
Absolutely amazing!
I've been drawing and redrawing designs for a lounge chair of my own when I stumbled across your video.
It is a really good design you have and the video is very inspiring. You gave given me a few new ideas for my own design. Thank you.
Wowsa! Would love to learn about how you started woodworking and the training you have undergone. I could go on and on! Thank you for making these videos.
Very beautifully made. And that music is epic.

Just gorgeous.
You are my favorite now Unni...(Vitten, Kobeomsuk,Ishitani fan here too.) Love from Philippines
Beautiful chair, crafting, design and documenting. So well done. Thank you.
Beeutiful. I'm not usually a fan of mid century furniture, but the subtle, smooth curves really works well. Thanks for posting.
The only problem I had with this video is that it ended. Amazing work!
This is a work of art. The chair and the video too.
what a wonderful piece of art you made
This is amazing! The chair & cinematography!
Lol the wave at the end 🤣
This was an extremely enjoyable video to watch, in every regard. Thank you for posting, you do exquisite work.
