Turn that midi shit off crank up the stereo and Assassins Creed is now played to cannibal corpse or whatever else im into. Good example: the devil may cry games were all played while I studied Advanced Molecular Chemistry via audiotext book. Bought both audio and standard texts in college because im a lecture learner.
To this day that TV special theme sets up a pavlovian response of excitement that something good is about to happen, even though nobody's used it for anything in over thirty five years.

from where I live, Fantasy Island came on the local ABC station and the 10PM thing ran on the local FOX station, WNEW before it became a FOX station. For some reason, I don't remember the 10PM thing on every channel.
