So I’ve always liked all three of you guys because of your skill and class; P extra right now bc I live near Boston. But…what was really impressive was the raw talk about not “seeing color” and Andre and Payton each sharing their different but related experiences with balancing race, friends, school and growing up. Now mid-December 2024 and he's tearing up the league, regularly among the scoring leaders for Celts even while coming off the bench. One of the top volume 3-point shooters in the league.

Got the bag, put in the work this off season on screen actions, looks in pre season making a huge difference... gonna get a ton of lineups with PP and either Jrue or Derrick who are able to help defensively for him to thrive offensively.
I watched every game Pritchard play at Oregon went to the final 4 to see the teams practice that run was awesome

Payton, you are at your best when you’re reading the game. Keep that mindset whether you are on the bench or on the floor, and you will continue to make an impact. Keep up the great ball pressure and PLEASE push the ball. The offense is running way too slow. You guys are at your best when you’re playing uptempo and controlling the pace.

I think Pritchard would get more playing time on another team. I wish he went to the Blazers in the Holiday trade. Pritchard is one of the best 3-point shooters in the League and I think he's underperforming because he doesn't get enough playing time.

Some channels are taking what he said as he wants to get traded. He didn’t say that, he just wants a bigger role like any other young player. If he was just 3 inches taller he would be much more effective on D. His offense is good though, he should practice his floater more though. It’s the best shot to learn if your shorter. His jumper is clean and his dribbling is good too. He can create his own shot or spot up and shoot. I can see he get nervous some games but that’s natural. If I was him I would put on like 15 lbs of muscle, that will help a lot with his D.

All the people mad at Payton for his comments about wanting a bigger role: 🤡. They don’t understand that if he stays a 3rd string PG and never gets the opportunity to become more than that, that is eventually going to be used against him by teams. He gets the benefit of the doubt now (team he’s on and age) but that won’t always be the case. And a 3rd string PG is almost always viewed as replaceable by teams -> out of the league.
