    What a brilliant idea! Thank you so much. I have tons of dies and love that I can resize them! My first snc ordered, I ordered one because I love the scan feature. I have a cricut maker but can see me using the snc more. Thank you so much for such a fab video ☺️

      have fun, dear!! Please share because I'm sure a lot of people have the same "frustration" when looking at the dies they love. I certainly did!! Now I'm using them all and the resizing changes everything.

    Can it work when you have cut the dies any color beside black thanks for the video🎉

    • @craftingwithpaula
      @craftingwithpaula  11 месяцев назад +1

      It usually works with any color. I just use black-and-white because I think it’s the best contrast for the machine. But it does work with other colors as well. Enjoy.

    I’m confused: couldn’t you just die cut the image with a manual cutting machine, even my tried and true Cuddlebug or my BigShot. Then copy or scan the image using a copier, copy or scan with an all in one printer. Then your image. run that copy through the scan n cut to create your image.
    It would be more accurate than tracing and a lot easier for someone who has hand issues.
    I have chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy that has progressed to my hands. I’m on my second cancer journey right now and the drugs caused hand tremors and overall shakiness for about 3 days.
    I’ve been going back and forth as to which scan n cut to buy. I’ve heard that the machines are built the same with the more expensive models having more built in patterns, etc. I w don’t think I’ll be using many of their patterns. The main reasons I’m in the market Is to copy the dies that I do have and to but out stamped images. Fussy cutting is hard right now because my hands aren’t steady.
    If it’s true that the machines themselves are identical, I would buy the Sdx85 now because of the price point and then step up next year to an SDX 225f. When Brother releases the new model next year that scans at 600 dpi, I think the SDX225 will come down in price. What do you think of that plan. I really don’t want to invest in the SDX225 at $599, even though I may want to cut fabric for a quilt next year. The price point on the SDX85 is attractive, and might get even better as Christmas comes closer. Does that make any sense? What do you think? 😉

      Dear Sharon, you are absolutely right! The reason why I did it this way was because I created the video for 2 viewers of my channel who had - as so many do - disposed of their cutting machines and were left with a bunch of dies they loved and couldn't use anymore. But you can certainly do it the way you said and I will do a video showing the second option, thank you for reminding me! I'm really sorry for your health struggles, I hope 2022 brings healing to you, physically and emotionally.

      You can also cut out the dies on black paper and add them to your mat and scan. Easy peasy.
