I hoped Chuck would be on this list. The show was almost cancelled multiple times but the fanbase was dedicated and with the help of Subway, got the show renewed. We've been begging for a movie since the show finished in 2012.
For years the CBC in the GTA would play The Simpsons at 5pm and Arrested Development at 5:30. It's how I watched Arrested Development at least 3 times through before Netflix was even a thing.

Let me just state that had it not been for Star Trek and it's cult following, many inventions we use everyday may have not even came to existence. Communicators = Cell Phones, Automatic Doors, even laser technology! If you are watching this on a handheld device, thank Star Trek for that. All that's left to decide now is, Kirk or Picard! :)
I think this video would have more meaning if these "cult shows" were off the air already with only 4 seasons at its best, because if its still on the air and with many season on their backs, then it would mean that these shows are on the main road, don't you think???
