- Elden Ring came out 2 years ago and I assumed Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree would be WAY Harder than the original game. Unfortunately Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is easy and I am disappointed... is what I would say if I didn't take a 2 year break. I'm actually scared.. help

Pro tip: Fromsoft designed enemies to catch you backing up and healing eg. Crucible knights, npc invasions, etc. To heal, I'd suggest being aggressive and healing when the enemy backs off or does long animations. Or a parry build

If you played any of the prior souls games or bloodborne it's just muscle memory to simply dodge/roll. I don't think I actually fought a boss where I NEEDED to jump until Rellana in this DLC.

I can confirm first hand, SotE gives you the option to do things the easy way or the hard way. If you press too far into paths that are off the main trail without the proper leveling materials, the enemies will slap you faster than a woodpecker stabbing a tree. Except, there really isn't a "main trail," so it's more like blindly wandering into a dark room that may or may not have a wild, hungry, man-eating polar bear in it.

Fun fact: if you go to the cuckoo’s evergaol in Liurnia and defeat Bols the Carian Knight, you get a replica of the big magic sword with the ash of war “Troll’s roar”.
If you put that one in your left hand, can still use the gold ash of war and power stance ultra greatswords.

Scadutree Fragments are basically runes. The DLC has an alternative progression system where you need to find Scadutree Fragments to boost damage negation and damage dealt. I believe there are 50 fragments and at least 20 levels to it.
Then, there is also revered spirit ashes which bolster your spirit ummons.

I can't find the name, and I'm not sure if you have the same build, but the duel weapons jacksepticeye used are super good, if its possible to get them somehow, I'd definitely recommend getting them

Afro you would love the reduvia daggers (Bleed daggers) from main game. They are way faster to use and a lot more fun compared to the swords. give it a try and lets see the fun begin.

I just gotta say-- getting a can of raid and spraying it in your own house to kill one bug is really weird imo. Maybe a lot of people do that, but I sure as hell wouldn't want that stuff's residue on any of my stuff, or even to have it in the air. If you want to kill a bug, it's not hard to just squish it with a tissue or a solid object.

Afro you gotta understand what poise is. Character get staggered when they have low poise and the weapon being used against them has high poise damage/weight. The whips were terrible against poise and worked on Malenia cause she doesn’t have high poise. Enemy’s wearing heavier armor have high poise and can usually walk through the attacks of lighter weapons.
Yo Afro if u are struggling remember if u r struggling to find some more scudrtree fragments. The more you find the more u can raise ur shadow blessing which makes u deal more damage and take less as well

Afro milady is a whole new weapon with a whole new move set if you dont dual wield it with another weapon
Afro, to kill the Fire Giant you gotta rely on your horse to have an easier time dodging his attacks. You'll do the most damage by knocking him down for you to do a critical hit. Plus he has some of the best gear in the DLC once you slay him.
