Aussie music royalty right there! The song was recorded in 1991. Always do live versions they are so much better IMO. Great reaction, John and Jimmy have both got very deep rabbit holes, enjoy.

Rick you need to check out John and Jimmy. They got together for this song. They both have brilliant careers here in Australia. Always listen to them live. John had a solo career and Jimmy was with a band called Cold Chisel before going solo.

They are two Australian Legends in music with amazing voices. Rick you really should look at Australian Rock Bands from the 70's 80's Bands like Radiators, Angels, Rose Tattoo, Midnight Oil, Goanna, Inxs, Cold Chisel & many many more. Australian Rock music from those times will blow your mind mate.

About the guitar player - he is Diesel. He is married to Jimmy's wife's sister .. and is a star in Australia in his own right. By the way, he originally came over from America.

Always do live performances when reacting to John Farnhan or Jimmy Barnes. They're so much better live. Jimmy is still singing, performing now at the age of 66, and voice is great. John is 73 and has been diagnosed with cancer of the mouth last August, but up till then, he still singing pitch perfect.🇭🇲🇭🇲🎵

Graham, you go through the trouble of spelling Farnsey's name phonetically and then you "Furnham" it?
@@mrmockatoo6786 GraHAM and Mocky - Phonetically, John's surname is pronounced ' F-ar-n -h-a-m'. In lazy, slack-jawed Aussie speech, it gets wrongly pronounced and shortened. The 'ham' would be from a 'hamlet', which is a small village or little group of houses in the country. Many English place names have 'ham' on the end and Farnham is an example of this.
@@barnowl5774 Yes, OK...But, most Aussies say Far-num (with a soft "U") which is Graham's point. My point is that he then went on to call him Furnham...which is a truncated household fitting (half a chair, for instance) owned by a very bad actor from Rockingham (for example).

Both have very deep rabbit holes to explore...... John has had No 1 hit records in 6 different decades , from 1966 to less than 10 years ago.
He was performing at this level less than 12 months ago at 72 / 73 years of age.
Jimmy has been belting out like this for almost 50 years...... is still performing live and never had throat problems.
Ps:- Jimmy also has a sweet voice for rock and soul but prefers to belt it out with extra gravel. lol
John has at least 3 careers, from teenage pop idol , musical theatre star to mature solo artist covering all music genres from heavy metal to light opera and musical theatre.
Jimmy has 2 careers and at least 4 seperate rabbit holes to explore.
From lead singer of legendary Aussie rock band Cold Chisel to his solo career and family career and career doing duets with other legendary singers.
Oh...... John also had a career doing duets with the worlds legendary singers..... I almost forgot. lol
