Very impressive, when I lived in San Francisco I use to go to China town just to watch lion dance every chinese new year. But I never seen this to balance on these skinny poles, man that takes some guts to do. Mad props to All Lion Dance schools around the world!!!!!
I think this is a Lion dance contest. I can see some of the judges sat on the other side. Some of people is cheering. This is a good dance. The steps are so beautiful and looked so close to animal walking. I like it.

I can't agree more. Although I'm very proud to see us Malaysia being the world champ, I'm REALLY sad and often PISSED that NO public recognition has been afforded to these heroes. Almost every Malaysian I spoke to didn't know, a few almost disputed to the point of yelling that we, MALAYSIA, are the world champs. And why there's no publicity? Every Malaysian Chinese knows the answer to that question.
I admired KSK creativity and skills but I've found this particular crews were trying so hard to impress the judges.. In my opinion, the HK crew hd a pretty impresive performance..
why after so many years, the production, staging, lighting and all looks very weak? its looks so dodgy. look the the torn mats, judges tables, omg.....at least use proper stuffs and it doesnt costs much!! this is 2012 for god's sake, make the competition look better and can attract all kinds of ppl.
