Only for the record. Congrats. But for real in express highways 100 to 120 km is the normal speed. Can you test that as well how much it will go on a single charge.
If there was a smooth highway near karad, which they have broken now, the car would have easily done 1000+ kms.. you guys should try the same test when the new highway is ready to use after some years along with the new Electric AUDI and the I7 and compare efficiencies
It is better to use Bengaluru-Chitradurga-hospeth-Vijayapura(Bijapur)-Solapur-Pune-Mumbai. The road between Bijapur and Pune is 4-6 lane with no traffic congestion.
It's great but what would have been more useful is a practical approach to this range testing. Like it's almost not practical to drive at 60 kph on such great roads and also plan your diving techniques like pulse and glide etc. While the idea is to extract the maximum range possible, this cannot be a practical driving for most drivers.
It's Ok for a record, Please do this on normal driving mode, 80-120 kmph then we can have a real feedback. driving on highway @60 kmph max needs lot of petiance
For the petrol lovers commenting on average speed... there are no roads between Satara & Belgavi. The average speed on Mumbai Bangalore highway is sround 50kmph.Nobody does mumbai to blr under 10 hours....Also a typical eqs owner has private jet and doesnt need 20 hour road trip. The problems are the pathetic roads. There are over 100 EV chargers between these two cities before people go crying where are the chargers. 1st ask where are the proper roads. Congratulations on rhe record Rahul. Fyi i have done this route in my ZS.
If he had started at 8 am he would have reached from silk board to manyata tech park only on a single charge

From other sources, I’ve calculated that it can do about 500 km on a single charge in regular usage conditions.
Probably 600-700 kms ? Still good enough ?
that space saver probably saved the record not just by making sure you finish the attempt but i am pretty sure it helped a huge in efficiency as well.
Only Rahul can do this! Patience of a monk!
pune to panvel in only 7% that was stressful for me watching
Range anxiety

#AutocarIndia makes records and records. Kudos. Congrats Rahul Sir and #AutocarIndia .
Hoow. the battery percentage chanfe from 1% to 2%. towards the end of the video? Due of re-gen braking?
yes i think
Yes, I was wondering if they drove in traffic without AC could have easily done a few more KMs.

How many days did u take to reach mumbai ?😂
Normal folks take 2 days unless you are a VRL driver
He literally said 48 hours. Don't you watch full video before commenting? You can ask Google to convert 48 hours to days.
Why is the spare tyer so thin??
That does make us sing ... Oh lord, wont you buy me, a Mercedes Benz
Jolly well done Sir ✌️
When the entire stretch of the updated Delhi-Mumbai expressway is finished, try this again im pretty sure the car will clock 1000 k.m.
Don't you miss the juice for that 1km to make it 950?

Congratulations for The whole Team
You guys have set a new Guinness Record
Best Wishes Always for You All
💐💐💐👍👍👍👌👌👌
How did you recharge the car from zero on road side?
Warranty of this car battery?
Congratulations to you and Mercedes for such a wonderful car and range ❤
Congratulations 🎊 👏 💐
Just out of curiosity...AC was "ON" or "OFF"..?
If not for the rains and road construction, you could have hit mumbai without any issues.
It could have gone to a 1000 km or even more if it were only a pure highway drive.
You should do a up and down hill run
BLR-BOM is downhill
Congratulations 🎊
The Kia ev6 looks more comfortable and stylish but this km range is insane !
Big congratulations..!! 🎉❤🎉
That space saver tyre size is just mad. My KTM’s rear tyre is much bigger than that.
Heard they're going to discontinue the EQS.
Eqs suv range test please ❤
Do this same test on the KIA EV9 SUV.
At what speed did he maintain below 100 kms per hour?
Make a test drive with 4 people sitting and an average speed of 80kmph with some luggage carrying.... 🚗
Now try attempting the same in the Hummer EV😅
949km in a single charge?! Is there any other car that has the same range or closer to this?
Nope . That is why it is world record
Well done
Anyone who has owned German sedans in India knows the anxiety of getting a flat tire literally pointless
Please test eqs suv range ...❤ Please

400km range at 100 to 120Kph
Mercedes ____The best or nothing
Damnn thats lit 🔥
949 km range u have pay 1.70 cr 😅
I wonder how much the range will be in hilly regions?
Given our infra and needs as Indians, we can only survive with plugin hybrid SUVs in 30-50L bracket packed with every single feature imaginable.
Rahul the mile muncher
EV's does not pollution directly but indirectly it causes more pollution than equivalent petrol / diesel counterparts.😢

Hopefully Mercedes Benz recognizes this!
