"I don't know how to impress upon you that physical damage done to my body does not affect me in the long term" is a surprisingly badass villain quote for such an otherwise comical character
What's funny is that Black Doom/The Devil is most likely still alive, since only his dog and body were killed (if that comet actually counted as his body), and with physical damage doing nothing to him in the long term, he's either just perfectly fine or just waiting for the chance to heal up to come back.

Every fandub villain is the GOAT. Obviously Eggman in SA2, Memphis Tennessee and The Devil are top tier but I also feel Josh in the Until Dawn fandub gets overlooked, he had so many great moments in that dub and he bounces off of Dr. Hill really well, he deserves more recognition. The HLVRAI reference was perfect.

Honestly as soon as I watched this, this became my favorite dub instantly. It was so genuinely crazy and consistent that it was hilarious. They really pulled this off perfectly.

@@funnysonicmanI think I read somewhere that when Ryan asks for black dooms actual name, he was setting up for chase to go with the actual plot, but chase just went balls to the walls and committed to the devil bit. Absolute legend
My gut instinct, based off absolutely nothing but studying the dubs themselves, is that Scout (formerly Chase) planned ahead of time to make the character the Devil, but didn’t tell anyone. That seems to also be the case with the Mikeiplier character, and even the librarian. Again, this is based off of no actual sources, just what makes sense to me.
Honestly, Chase and Alfred carried 70% of the entire dub.
