84 episodes in and we finally get the real beige rage of Rob Haze. Like y’all really got deep on this. If the internet was a reasonable place y’all might actually move the needle on ‘the appropriateness and humor of light skinned jokes’ with like an article or a pamphlet or a town hall speech. But alas, this will usually be treated as complaining about a drop in the ocean, regardless of how fair that is.
As Darius Miles says I was “the blackest one” between me and my 3 brothers. Listening to y’all I’m bouta apologize to em for the light skin jokes back in the day when we was growing up lol.. Rob gettin real🙏🏾🙌🏾 I blame Big Boi character in ATL he set us back with one line 😂😂
I'm curious if Rob feels the same discomfort with dark-skin jokes? (Actual curiosity and not subtle shade for clarification because you know.... the internet) I know when I hear a darkskin joke (stereotypically positioned) from comedians I like it definitely takes my esteem for them down a bit.... just as a human. Enjoyed the podcast as usual 🙂
"You're what I thought I was gonna look like." 😂
I appreciate the Beyoncé segment. This country album switch-up might bring me over to her side.

I don’t like those as well. I don’t like shade based stereotypes especially in mainstream spaces.
