It’s so tough I’ve been on RUclips for 2+ years and I probably made a mistake by having 3 RUclips channels but I couldn’t do everything I wanted on one channel. I’m also on instagram and TikTok now. I try to repurpose content on other platforms. It’s crazy. I’m determined to succeed because I hurt my back and stopped my career as a hairstylist 3 years ago. I’m dog sitting for extra money and doing outdoor art shows as much as possible. Although it’s hard I am so much happier 😊
Yes...mindset is everything. You need a solid inner game to fuel the most beneficial success. A solid inner game means that you need to 1. Know you are good enough to your core, 2. know that you belong or fit in (even with yourself), 3. Know that you can get what you want, 4. Feel safe and secure, and 5. Rid yourself of any harbored or trapped rage, resentment or anger.
Everything you said is just the way I feel, feels like I was listening to myself 😅 is good to know im not the only one feeling that way, keep strong guys whoever is reading this, we got this 💪🏼!
My biggest one is the views going up and down I was at 10k per short now they near hit 100 views. I havented given up so far but it's definitely tough. You can do this.
IMO, the algorithm is designed to shadow ban/suppress videos on newer channels when they hit x number of high views. Don't take it too personal because (like getting randomly and unjustly demonetized) this probably happens to _everyone._ It's part of the journey to fight through droughts, shadow suppression, strikes, being reported, etc etc

Thank you, that was so good. I (finally!!) created a channel, and just last week, I put up my first 3 videos. The next one is coming out tomorrow. At least for me, it's not just the work that comes with it. I already know that my niche is not anything for the masses. It's faith-based content in a language that is not as widespread as English, and the topics can be a bit controversial. Bottom line, I can't expect large growth anytime soon, and monetizing faith-based content is also often seen as very controversial. But this is where my passion lies. So I'll do all I can, knowing it's not an easy ride.
I just felt I needed to share that I think you sounded so Composed, Positive, Truthful and Meaningful in your Words of Encouragement that even for the guy who's always preaching positivity (ME 🙂) you gave me some Positive Reaffirming Encouragement that I think we all need to hear because Time is what you make of it and you'll get a lot further with a Positive Attitude , a Try instead of Try Not approach, and I love the saying "IF YOU BUILD IT, THEY WILL COME" Thank-you! And I’m completely burnt out by my 9-5, so it’s a struggle to find the energy to work on the side hustle. But it’s my dream. And I know I won’t get to where I want to go without going through this season. But it was really nice to hear from someone who gets it. As a business owner, full time solo mum AND struggling with mental health issues (aren't we all), to then plan, execute and doing all the things to do with creating RUclips content, is a BIG STRETCH to say the least. I'm literally sitting in my pjs absolutely exhausted editing photos for my next video instead of watching Netflix haha a BIG shout out to all creative RUclipsrs because we have the added load of photo editing on top!
I listened on Apple but came here to comment. One issue you didn’t mention, but have discussed because you have experience with it is Physical Pain or disability. I’ve had 4 Spine surgeries with plates & screws in lower back & worse, my neck. I’m in Chronic pain & insomnia. I never know from day to day if it’s going to be a pain level 5, tolerable or a 9-10, feels like my spine is trying to come thru my skin like Alien. So I shoot when I must, trains & Cars and edit when I can, often between 1-5am because I’m up anyway and no one will bother me. I’m working on getting into the Amazon Influencer program so I can do reviews all year round. I love that you are open about your faith in your podcasts. I feel like you are sharing truth about RUclips etc and not just hustling a program sale. I look forward to all the fresh content and will be listening to the older content for education. This resonates so much with me. I started my youtube channel back in 2016 made 1 video didn't get barely any views didn't go back to it. Now fast forward to 2024 and I'm really investing my time with this content creation thing. I've been watching RUclips since forever and saw the changes it's gone through and now I'm realizing as I've worked all my life I don't want to continue that I want to put myself out there and show the world what I'm passionate about, but also my personality. Its something I wasn't allowed or given the chance to when I was younger. Thank you for reigniting that fire within me and not wanting to quit. I pray for every small channel or even larger scale channels that are providing inspiration, they continue and flourish with abundance and your channel continues to grow in the name of God.

Would love some of your insight into how to navigate the challenges surrounding "made for kids" restrictions and breaking through the saturation of content. I still believe there is a space for me (and my star pup Chippy) so I appreciate the confidence boost and the Biblical reminders you boldly interweave into your talks :)
I find one of the toughest things is when you have a good few months in terms of views, then an algorithm change happens and they drop. I try and remember that anything worth doing is never easy though! Keep grinding!

Thank you for this. I have struggled with watching creators who add very little value to RUclips, rapidly gain subscribers because their "drama" is supposedly entertaining. People can't take their eyes off of a "train wreck" and these creators monetized on that. Meanwhile I try to add value to what I do, and I'm not even at 2K subscribers yet. I'm thankful for what I've received, yet frustrated that others who just turn on a camera and cuss at someone gets thousands and thousands of views and subscribers.
I decided to throw in the towel yesterday. Then I woke up this morning to this video being the first recommended to me. What a difference a day, and a click, can make. I’m gonna go edit. Thank you so much, Sean.❤️

This video must be the best video the think media has ever made . Wow just going thru those things this summer . Especially the work been busy. Having only had time to make one short a week after June has been stressing me out. I do have material for a longer video but simply can’t make time now to put them together . To complicate matters I am a faceless and voiceless channel with original content only is making matters more difficult ,been thinking about starting to use AI voice for my videos . The only reason I’m still here is I really like making videos for my small audience that I am grateful of 😊
I'm glad to see motivational videos like this. I always motivate myself and my friends. We love making videos and sharing knowledge with others. Even though we haven't made a single cent, we still keep it up, and we'll continue until Google deletes RUclips from their platform( impossible). Don’t quit RUclips. you will be successful one day and achieve financial freedom in the future.

Thank you for this. I have struggled with watching creators who add very little value to RUclips, rapidly gain subscribers because their "drama" is supposedly entertaining. People can't take their eyes off of a "train wreck" and these creators monetized on that. Meanwhile I try to add value to what I do, and I'm not even at 2K subscribers yet. I'm thankful for what I've received, yet frustrated that others who just turn on a camera and cuss at someone gets thousands and thousands of views and subscribers.
I appreciate the relatability because I feel all of this, but I don't want to stop lol feels good to know that others have felt/feel these feelings ❤

This video must be the best video the think media has ever made . Wow just going thru those things this summer . Especially the work been busy. Having only had time to make one short a week after June has been stressing me out. I do have material for a longer video but simply can’t make time now to put them together . To complicate matters I am a faceless and voiceless channel with original content only is making matters more difficult ,been thinking about starting to use AI voice for my videos . The only reason I’m still here is I really like making videos for my small audience that I am grateful of 😊
I'm glad to see motivational videos like this. I always motivate myself and my friends. We love making videos and sharing knowledge with others. Even though we haven't made a single cent, we still keep it up, and we'll continue until Google deletes RUclips from their platform( impossible). Don’t quit RUclips. you will be successful one day and achieve financial freedom in the future.
