    As an audio file of some 50 years, you are by far the best audio reviewer on RUclips.. bravo!! Your recommendation of the Viborg power cable was spot on as I paired it with my Yamaha 801 integrated receiver, which might be a good review to pair that cable if you get one of those in just to hear the difference in the sound quality it makes and how that $900 amp turns into something that can compete with $2000 amplifiers?! The build quality of the X9 300 B is fantastic B-Roll does a great job of depicting the unit. I would love for you to get your hands on one of the Brunoco tube amplifiers from Korea at $1000 less and Build Quality like a tank…It’s definitely one right down alley!! Now as far as a sound sample, you can clearly hear a difference between the turntable playback, and that Grace Mahya SACD… the turntable sounds so much thinner, less depth, and realistic detail. Because I grew up with vinyl, I may be much more sensitive to how it sounds than most at 64 years old. But that aside, thanks for another great review and keep doing what you’re doing and stay safe!!

    I agree, very good sound with this track. I think it had never sounded so well. However, I notice an excess with the bass. I hear details that other times do not. In addition to the 300b, surely the output transformers used have a lot to do with the sound.

    • @ChicagoRob2

      This amp is pretty special for me because it sounded so good with everything I played it with, I love many different genres of music including modern pop music, Bass can be a bit over powering in some settings especially when re-listening to sound samples.Thanks

      I agree with you. The X9 plays well with all kinds of music but it excels in vocal music. Female and male singers are so real and vivid. 8W is more than sufficient to drive my Cornwall IV at ear piercing level with the dial around 10 o'clock. There is tight and artificial like most solid-state amps. The bass has weighty and musical as it should be. Prior to the X9, my system was driven by the R8, Audio Research L2+Parasound 21A and Adcom 555II. I can listen to the X9 for hours without ever feeling fatigue.
      The X9 is solidly built. I have no issue with it for the close to 4 years now. There was slight hum at first. It turns out to be one of the 300B tube. I replaced with Linlai 7300B. Rolled with different 6SL7, 6LN7 and 274B but end up installed back stock tubes since it sounds so good with 7300B. Bias for both tubes are stable for the last 3+yrs.

    Excellent video as always. How does this compare with Willsenton 300 B amp? I listen Jazz and will pair with klipsch Forte iV speakers small listening room of 12 x 14 w/7 foot ceiling is sloped on sides so not a flat ceiling and I have treated the room for reflections controlled.

    Great review, as usual. I have a question maybe you can help. I have two pairs of speakers I love. Heresy II's and Zu DWX. The amplifier I have is a McIntosh MA252, and although it sounds great, I know both of these speakers would do better with a set amp. I've narrowed my search down to the MUZISHARE X9 or the Line Magnetic 210Ia. I'm wondering if you or anyone else in your comments have an opinion on which one to choose. Thanks

    Friend, how do you find music in DSD format? I need information, since my country is not developed and there are not many people like me, that's why your help and your information mean a lot to me and I rely a lot on your advice and suggestions. Good luck

    • @Tharbamar
      @Tharbamar  Месяц назад

      Sonically DSD is superior, When they did double blind test at Tokyo University with 46 participants majority preferred DSD (2.8Mhz/5.6Mhz) over PCM (192 kHz/24 bits) for higher sound quality but they couldn't tell the different in DSD between 2.8Mhz and 5.6Mhz.
      It was tested in two different sites, 30 people at site A with pair of Genelec 1032A, 16 people (students and professors in Sound Recording program with timbral ear training experiences) at site B using Genelec 8050A.
      The test was done individually for each participant in 1.5 to 2 hours each between August 5th to 30th, 2013.
      Method: A double-blind two-intervals two-alternatives forced choice method (pairwise A-B comparison) was used for the listening test.
      (They also tested with AKG C414, C451, D112, DPA 4006, 4011, 4015, Neumann U87Ai, Royer R-121, Sanken CO-100K, Shure SM57, and Sony C-38BPCM Headphones.)
      Technically all PCM files are converted to DSD and re-converted to PCM for output when using Delta Sigma DAC chips, even that thanks to superiority of Delta Sigma chips sound is still very good.
      Personally I preferred DSD for my digital music listening especially Piano and Drum notes are more noticeable for me and only use Delta Sigma DAC when listening DSD music for being native. Thanks

      Hi, yes used to be about 8ft apart with custom stands, now they’re sitting closer(6ft apart) to each other which makes me change back to original stands for deeper bass quality and less forward sound. Thanks

    How does this tube amp compare to your accuphase?
    I have klipsch Cornwall 4’s currently with McIntosh, but I’ve been thinking about trying accuphase 700 integrated and a tube TS120 or black ice.

    • @Tharbamar
      @Tharbamar  23 дня назад

      It's very different but in good way, endless enjoyment of listening them in rotation, power, bass control and immediacy and resolution E-4000 is in different league.
      I had TS120SE it sounded like midrange solid state amp and I didn't like it enough to keep using it, as always sound is subjective but overall build quality of this X9 is in different level with much better transformers, it should work very well with your speakers, thank you.

    I have a lot of respect for this channel and watch every video.
    Has Muzishare cracked the code of janky Chinese tube amplifier build quality ?
    I doubt it.
    I hope I am wrong
    But I will leave that to those with the education and experience building tube amplifiers to make that call.
    I will respectfully say that if I were to buy a $2,500 300B I would wait for a Decware or I would just spend more money on something that has a great reputation.
    I hope it is everything that is said about it.
    But I am skeptical.
