As one of the only reviewers to cover the Vincent SV500, I am a little in shock that there was no mention of it - did I somehow miss this? I was so excited to see that you were reviewing the 237, specifically because I was looking forward to seeing if upgrading from the SV500 to the 237 was something you would recommend, and why! Could you add your thoughts concerning this. Thank you so much!
Great review! I have been following Vincent Audio for years and this one is on my short list. Compare these: Buchardt i150 or the Advance Paris A10 or the HIFI Rose RA280 for a shoot out!
I agree, both the Vincent Audio and the A10 classic by Advance Paris are on my shortlist, both are hybrid amps, its hard to get a sense of the difference in tonality between the 2, I guess it's time to do some trial listening myself.
Hey Joe, I recently bought the Fiio K11 after your awesome video about it. Now I just saw they are releasing an R2R version in a couple weeks. Will this be a direct upgrade to the K11? I have until august to return the K11, and don’t mind spending an extra 30 at all if it will be even better. I use my K11 for gaming and a bit of music
@GadgetryTech Hi mate off your advice i have purchased em6l and fiio K11 for warzone but don't get good audio. My previous iem KZ ZAR seem to be much better. No doubt that is because of my settings or something so what settings would you use? @GadgetryTech
So it has a preamp full range stereo output which you can use to drive another amplifier or two active subwoofers for stereo configuration with low pass filter and by simply joining them together using a Y adapter you get a mono sub drive. But wouldn’t doing this make the whole system mono? Unless the preamp outputs are buffered. A single active subwoofer with both left and right would be best. Your comments, please. Thank you
Im waiting for the asus delta 2 wireless with simultaneous bluetooth! Finally someone is making a simultaneous headset again with a 10mm capsule mic, lets hope its good! Stock it follows the harmon curve from what asus was saying. Edit. I know headphones have nothing to do with this review, just hinting at Joe to review these lol.
Do you have any plans on reviewing the Beyerdynamic MMX 300 Pro gaming headset? It’s the new successor to the MMX 300 Gen 2 headset, and I’d love to see it get compared to the Audeze Maxwell.
Im interested in this amp. However im planning to use it in the livingroom so its kind of untreated. The vincent has no EQ room correction software, are there ways to make room correction still possible? Now adding a minidsp flex it will be like a pre amp? But then u lose the pre tube stage from the vincent?
Very good review. it's really sad that Vincent-T.A.C are going to take this Amp I really hope they change their mind and give it to you for more tests.
@@GadgetryTech a lot of people have said that they don't like it because of the low bass, which is bad outside of the game. Isn't the sound quality of the xtrfy h1 better? or is there a difference in terms of foot sound, I just want to evaluate these 2, I'm not interested in ps xbox wireless
Im new to this advance audio stuff. I have the hd 490 pro plus headphones and a topping a90 d amp what else do I need to get these headphones connected?
Try speaking to Mark at The Vinyl Passion Listening Room near Nottingham. he is the UK distributor and very helpful. I bought the Mk1 version a few years ago and agree that it is an excellent (if heavy!) piece of equipment.
Thanks for the introduction to this amp, your time, and honest perspectives. I hope all is well. Take care, Sir.
Thanks Simon!
Also doubles as a bludgeoning weapon against would be thieves. What a beast. Vincent Audio makes some of the most aesthetically pleasing amplifiers.

Thanks so much! I’ll certainly keep my eyes out for covering those when possible

I know people are going to ask - XDefiant NEXT

Hi,I’m a new a subscriber do you think the 237 mkII will sound good with the Bouchardt s400 mkII!?
The best looking amp in silver imo.
That's a Big Boy right there. I'll stick with my LYR3 Hybrid tube amp for now!
Thank you for the review. How would the SV 237 mk2 compare with the SV 228 where sound quality and tonality is concerned since you have reviewed both.

what is the best network streamer to connect with?
Great review
Thank you!
It would be nice if Vincent put a nice phono stage in their integrated amp..like most companies do that have an analog amp 😢
Instead of having to buy an external one

nice review but I will ask one thing, cloud 3 wireless or xtrfy h1 for sound quality and foot sound?
Cloud 3 is so good for basically everything. If you don’t need Bluetooth, it’s a great option

Joe, what is that pixelated animation picture you have on the self?

How about taking the cover off show the architecture
Been eying this amp up for a while now, In silver it looks amazing, however I can’t seem to get it over here in the UK really which is disappointing.
