Even if the time was so difficult for the working people that it is hard to imagine, the architecture, fashion, art and so on were still as graceful and beautiful as they were in ancient times. Not comparable with nowadays.
What makes you think life of working people was unbearable? Actually, most lived in reasonable comfort. Unless you meant of course they didn’t have cell phones to watch beautiful life in Berlin circa 1800.

Great film and restoration. I notice at 6:06 there seems to be a distinctive German (Berliner?) hat style, with a short brim and sugar-loafy cone on the man on the right's hat. Meanwhile the man on the left is wearing a colourful hunter-style hat, softer, with upturned rear brim and longer front. I like that men in fine suits were wearing fun hats like that out of the woods. Forgive me if watching your videos is turning me into a hat expert :P Also noticed: man skating on ground at 1:12. How wonderful that science, research, technology and general progress enable us to capture the changing times in films and pictures. Grow up and shake off this childish simplistic utopian foolishness. Humanity is degrading rapidly whether morally, intellectually or spiritually and to think that with The Powerful Ever-Living God Jesus Christ we can become better is not only wishful thinking but also a satanic delusion.
From Wikipedia: The National Kaiser Wilhelm Monument (Kaiser-Wilhelm-Nationaldenkmal) was a memorial structure in Berlin dedicated to Wilhelm I, first Emperor of Imperial Germany. It stood in front of the Berlin Palace from 1897 to 1950, when both structures were demolished by the German Democratic Republic (GDR) government.
The demolition was purely politically motivated, as was the case with the Berlin City Palace a short time later. The plinth can still be found today on the south-western edge of Schloßplatz and is a listed building.
Of the actual monument, two groups of lions (two figures each) still exist, which were freed from the trophies and moved in front of the predator house in the Tierpark Berlin in a different formation and function. Furthermore, one of the eagle figures by August Gaul still exists and is owned by the Märkisches Museum, where it has been on display in the inner courtyard since 2013.[10] The remaining sculptural parts of the monument were destroyed.
