A few days ago i was traveling from auto and a man sitting beside me touched me inappropriately. I screamed at him and he quickly removed his hand. The auto driver and the other two women on that auto stared at us for 2 sec after i screamed but then they continued with their lives, not caring for what happened with me. To this day i am still traumatized by that incident. Now whenever i ask a man sitting beside me to go and sit beside the driver bcoz of obvious reasons and to "avoid" being harassed (which i literally shouldn't have to), the auto driver himself acts "confused" and asks me WHY im sending the man in front. At this point i have no idea what to do and my daily commute to college feels like hell. The auto driver and these men are so out of touch with reality and have zero idea what we women go through on a daily basis.
Well, make that auto driver aware of these happenings so that he also can take precautions that his clients don’t suffer because of few men who harass his female clients and yes, you can shift as well and sit with ladies in the rickshaw once you see man on boarding. 16:30 in my college hostel, which is a women's college, we were not allowed to come out of our building without dupatta. Because in a place with only women, there was one guy who cleans the kitchen area. We might attract that one uncle, that's why we (almost 500 students living in hostel) couldn't come without dupatta, no matter what is someone's b size or whatever we are wearing.
You reminded me of this incident. So, during our 12th board exams one of my friends didn't wear a dupatta to the exam hall one day. We didn't have a dress code and if we talk about modesty, her dress was very modest already. The invigilator(a lady) in midst of the exams stopped her and asked why she's not wearing a dupatta and added: "even sir is here (the male invigilator)." For next ten minutes she kept on shaming the girl loudly while the exam was going on because she's not wearing a dupatta and sir may end up looking at her chest. We were all minors by the way.

I personally think we as women need to step up like stop ignoring sexist comments and actually reply to it and learn self defence (literally I have heard many cases when women have saved themselves because they know self defence. When we talk about precautions this is what we should talk about not being prisoners in our own house)
And in the name of self defence many innocent men get assaulted by women and when they try to make a complaint against that woman they are literally told by the cops that if you are going to file an assault case against a woman she would file a complaint of sexual assault on you and your life will totally be ruined in jail and getting a bail out of those cases is very difficult and it also very difficult to prove that if that assault has not happened. Think what if your father gets accused of an offence like this. How do you feel after that?

A few days ago i was traveling from auto and a man sitting beside me touched me inappropriately. I screamed at him and he quickly removed his hand. The auto driver and the other two women on that auto stared at us for 2 sec after i screamed but then they continued with their lives, not caring for what happened with me. To this day i am still traumatized by that incident. Now whenever i ask a man sitting beside me to go and sit beside the driver bcoz of obvious reasons and to "avoid" being harassed (which i literally shouldn't have to), the auto driver himself acts "confused" and asks me WHY im sending the man in front. At this point i have no idea what to do and my daily commute to college feels like hell. The auto driver and these men are so out of touch with reality and have zero idea what we women go through on a daily basis.
Well, make that auto driver aware of these happenings so that he also can take precautions that his clients don’t suffer because of few men who harass his female clients and yes, you can shift as well and sit with ladies in the rickshaw once you see man on boarding. 16:30 in my college hostel, which is a women's college, we were not allowed to come out of our building without dupatta. Because in a place with only women, there was one guy who cleans the kitchen area. It saddens me to see hate comments on videos like these. Your opinions are literally based on the first feminist. movement yet people can't stomach basic equality. I want to live in a world where people like you won't have to make videos like these. I am 16, and a girl and the boys around me are so radical and toxic. Being a hindutvadi is fine in my opinion. Of course you should be proud of your culture. I know that vedic culture wasn't entirely free for women but I would say India was more progressive than any other ancient civilisation. And seeing creators and journalist use that history, to set the 'moral code' for today's men to become radical with is fucking alarming. The deeming sex and sexual urges as 'unhindu' is so wrong. Ancient India was fine with sex, and sexual urges of a woman. We were an open society, and there were trends of women wearing sheer saaris and skirts. The majority men were civilised and kept it in their pants. Honestly, women were better off 5000 years ago in the harrapan civilisation.

5:40. THIS is something people don't talk about enough. my mom used to be working. My dad never asked her to leave her job. that was her own decision in order to focus on her kids' growth since my dad's job was stable and thus indispensable she was the only one with the option to leave. my dad respects her and provides for everything she needs. but I still feel she doesn't see herself with the same respect as she sees other working women. which saddens me.
You are saying like this that jobs are available like free everywhere. Dark times are coming. Due to politics unemployment is on peak. And this genz gen will add more forces to it. Why would any woman really deliver an Amazon package? Few reasons why and I'm gonna go on a rant. These package delivery jobs are extremely thankless for the people who do it but they do it still no matter what maybe for money or ethics or whatever it is.
If the package is even somewhat late there scolded or probably even cursed on.
If a woman can do a much better job by studying and going for something like IAS, Doctor, Police etc etc you get the idea which offer better money, better financial stability well they would choose it.
Even these delivery men too would like better jobs like this that suit their skills.

My friends living in a girl's hostel (they are adults) in a place where the temperature rises easily above 40°C , aren't **allowed** to wear shorts because they'll seduce the uncles who cook food for them in the mess.
