    Great review! My ATT internet has become so expensive I am considering T Mobile.

      If you live in T-Mobile’s coverage area, I’d say it’s definitely worth a try. - Ryan

      But the speed can vary a lot from place to place just like a cell phone because it’s using 5G. So basically you have to try it to know. I used it for probably five or six months. And it was great at first. Certainly not as fast as AT&T but good enough of including 4K streaming on two different TVs at the same time. However eventually became extremely slow. I think maybe they added more users in the area. I experienced lots of buffering on the televisions even on the phone. Sometimes it was just almost unusable. And I have a T-Mobile tower directly across the street from my house. And the unit was in a window. I could check the speed on my phone and it was fine, and then check the speed on the Internet and it was super slow. So they were definitely prioritizing the home Internet.

    So I live where Comcast is the only option (Fios not available). I have gigabit internet from Comcast, which I pay $135/mo which is asinine. I have T-Mobile cell plan though, and have been really happy with them over the years. I’m just wondering if their wireless internet matches up with the service I currently have. If it does, bye bye xfinity!

      With a T-Mobile cell phone plan, you’ll definitely get T-Mobile internet for a much more affordable price. However, you will almost definitely not get 1 Gbps speeds (mine averaged 200-300 Mbps). That said, depending on how you use the internet (number of devices and people in your home) these speeds might be sufficient. Hope that helps!

      @@Theseniorlist really depends on where you live. I get 650-750 mbps so for me it’s pretty fast. My ping is usually around 28-48 so yeah not bad at all. I live close to a 5g tower in a rural area

      Restart your modem regularly as they fill up with cache or lost files. I usually restart mine once a day (waking up). I use the app to restart it. Another thing you can try is locate the tower closer to you that is T-Mobile. Best way is walk around your house outside and see where your signal is strongest. That’s the direction your modem needs to be. Hope that helps

      @Theseniorlist  Месяц назад +3

      I imagine this would be the case. While I experienced pretty fast speeds, I live in a household of two, and nobody games, so there are not too many devices vying for the connection. -Ryan

      @@qpMedley Yes for sure , t mobile just struggles on fast paced games , so if your in to mortal Kombat, or any call of duty then yeah it won't be smooth but it's crazy how the download speeds are good but doesn't run as smooth online that well

    • @Theseniorlist
      @Theseniorlist  Месяц назад +2

      The pricing was fair, the setup was easy, and my speeds were faster than advertised. I did mention that speeds will likely vary by location, but other than that, I don’t see how else to judge an internet provider.
      A potential con might be the lack of any plans with 300+Mbps download speeds, but this would only matter to larger households, so I assume it’s irrelevant for our audience. -Ryan
