What i love about Bob is how he takes painting not as something you need to make perfect but something you can create with your imagination and your "mistake". Nothing is a mistake, it’s all for the painting. He encourages people to start a new hobby and no matter how it will look at the end, at least you tried and that’s good enough.
This is just PURE anxiety relief all in one video. I love Bob Ross. The moments where he speaks in such a relaxing voice just makes me want to drift away. I nearly fell asleep watching this. This is one of those videos I'll come back to whenever I need to calm down. His gentle voice just does it for me.

It is possible to loop RUclips videos if you're using a computer by right clicking on the video screen and check "Loop". IDK if it is possible to do on mobile though.

I’m an 80s baby and Bob was on PBS when I was a kid. He was my favorite source of calming tingles, long before the term “ASMR” ever existed.
Bob's voice was a bit deeper in early "Joy of Painting" seasons.
Great man, nature & wildlife lover and true legend as painter.
Missed him.

Honestly all of Bob Ross’ videos are asmr to me, I watch them for the asmr and the wonderful painting, a combination of two things I love
