  • This design was asked for by an old friend who still flies the Apache in real life. What started out as a joke over a beer online led to this project being designed and created in around 48 hours. As an ex-Apache engineer, I downloaded DCS just for the virtual cockpit and created the panel in CAD. This will sit on my desk as an excellent desktop reminder of my service with the aircraft. However, for others, this should; be a great unit for DCS.

As a former US Army Apache mechanic, I love this however in the throttle slots there should be, depending on variant either a set of soft bristles or split rubber to keep things from dropping into the throttle quadrant assembly. The rubber is pretty thick and stiff so it would most likely require a rework of the faceplate to have a recess to add it so it could mount flush to the underside.

Hello Joker, You are right and i pruposely missed those out for ease! Normally i would print them in flexible TPU, but it causes so much hassle when others print them, it fills my inbox up with requests. Hence they were never added in the first place.

In DCS you got a lot of stuff available to do content and also a lot of people interested in this type of stuff, I don't even own an AH-64D had already blinked at it but wasn't so sure and just because of this I am starting to being sold on the idea... oh and I just realized one thing I didn't said, THANK YOU for this.
