Great video guys! Where did you go swimming? We’re off to Colico in a few weeks and by the looks of the weather we definitely need a spot to cool off! Thanks!

Thanks so much! We stayed in Bellano so that was just a beach in the town! Have so much fun - Colico is amazing as is the whole lake, really!

Wow lake Como, with all these small villages, looks amazing; added it to my bucket list (didn't know that it is so close to Milan).
Have you considered renting a vespa to travel around the lake? Then you are not dependent on public transport. In Naples, I experienced the same with trains, for over 2,5 hours there were no trains at all going back to Naples from Caserta (although I must say that the delays can happen here in the Netherlands too).
Looking forward to seeing your next video 😊

It is such a beautiful place! Definitely bucket list worthy. We thought about renting a vespa, but we weren't sure about needing an International Drivers Permit to rent one (sadly we didn't get it before this trip) so we didn't really look around for renting one, BUT that could definitely be a good idea for transportation! Thanks so much for the support!

I have plan to be Lake como in Oct from Lucerne (Switzerland). I can’t decide to book the hotel yet Lenno or Varena.

Both definitely great spots! We stayed in Bellano and loved it because the crowds were smaller, but Varenna is definitely a good choice!

I think you said a little too much nonsense.

Lol okay. Which part was "nonsense"?

@@KJandSarah In the sense that I do not know if the video is to entice or dissuade visitors, I have lived 25 years in those places the transport is not as bad as you describe it .... remember you are on vacation. Aperitifs do not change every hour, if you saw a villa yesterday it doesn't mean that you don't have to visit villa Cipressi and Monastero in Varenna. Did you go to Colico to visit the Spanish Fort of Fuentes? Did you go to visit the WWI Fort? I think not.

@@MrMQVO We are not trying to entice nor dissuade visitors - we are simply sharing our day and experience to let people make their own decisions - is Lake Como amazing? Yes, of course. Is it all sunshine and rainbows? Definitely not. The transport was fine and always got us where we needed to be, but there were delays and we were just being honest about that - is that a bad thing? If you are trying to be somewhere on time, it was hard to gauge which train or ferry to take seeing as we had multiple 30+ minute delays during our time there on both the train and ferry. With regard to the Aperitifs comment, we were told by our waitress they change based on the chef's mood that day - we would not make something like that up for no reason. As for the villas, yes, obviously they are different but we wanted to use our limited time to do other things - it was a personal decision. Same goes for The Spanish Fort of Fuentes or the WWI Fort - if we had more time, we would have done everything.
