Totally worth it. I didn’t know what hypersense was and the salesman didn’t even tell me. Then when I got home and tried them I was blown away. It’s so immersive and you can literally feel when enemies are around you and shooting.
I just got mine after my "Kraken Ultimate headset" gave out on me. The "Ultimate" Started cutting in and out ( wire kept twisting on its own and I think damaged it). Yet these feel real nice. The mic sound sounds much better in my opinion and the haptic feedback is incredible. For the bass on music even though you mentioned was lowered, for me the haptic feedback compensates a ton. I enjoyed your review was very positive.
I just bought the Kracken V3. One thing though I never understood is why you would have RGB on headphones? It's not like you can see it if you're wearing the thing so what's the point?
The one that take beating, usually decays in time and someday it will absolutely break off. That's also why I don't like ones that has many moving parts (like ones that has moving, turning, folding earcups; those decays faster) Also it's way heavier than Blackshark v2. I suggest the V2 for anyone out there; some people only say it's mic a bit disappointing and they say it's worse than V2 X model (which has 3.5mm jacks and doesn't have USB sound card and THX spatial audio, custom EQ etc.) because of USB soundcard V2 has. But it sounds fine to me and Razer Synapse is beast when it comes to noise cancelation; I sneeze, I cough, I whistle in front of mic, my room is filled with fan noises not only the PC but also smoke ventilation and cooling in hot summer days and nobody in Discord hears anything.

V2 and V2X quality and components are the same, only difference is V2 has a USB soundcard so I would still buy V2; it's better to have THX and Razer Synapse and full control over rather than not having it. My friend bought Hyper X Cloud Alpha first, but he hated it, it's heavy and tiring to use; also he had a crosstalk issue (we hear his PC sound over Discord time to time). Then he returned it and bought V2X because it was cheaper and he hadn't the budget; he is also happy about V2X but still having a crosstalk issue. He couldn't resolved the issue but I believe if he had bought V2, it wouldn't do such a thing since it has own sound card.

Also I guess V2X has artificial leather earcups; in hot summer times my friend reproach that his V2X sweats and discomforts him but I never had such an issue with V2 because it's earcups are made of breathable fabric.
It's not Kraken V3 don't get fooled there are like 4 different Kraken V3, V3X, V3 Hypersense V3 .... and what I understand all of them dont have the shaking/ Hypersense

However, I was not satisfied with the blackshark, the mic is not that good and it's not as comfortable as I thought. So I bought the kraken V3 instead. Even if it's heavier and bigger I am more comfortable with this one bc with the blackshark it felt like my ears had no space but with the kraken V3 it has some more. The only negative point for the kraken V3 is the weight and also bc the sound is directly related to the pc and not only to the headset like the old kraken or the blackshark.
Kraken seems to me to be the number one choice batter life is the best charging time the best and the felling of playing any tactical fps game such a squad and arms or rust best feeling
Not just that just using them with no vibration like in valorant. Fortnite aprex. Just competitive it seems to have the best audio by far for me for 200 it don't get better you get what you pay for

Because i have a JBL that is 260g but it was so heavy. I dont know if maybe its because of the metal or not. Is memory foam helping the weight even though its heavy?
Honestly I didn't find the Kraken V3s to feel that heavy considering the vibration haptics inside and the bulk of them. It makes you understand why they are 344g. That said I've played many long campaigns with them and never had an issue. Personally I love the haptics, and would always recommend that level of immersion. However if you feel 344g would be too heavy the blacksharks have been my main headset for years. I love the sound of them, but they have no thrills, just a good headset. I'd say if you're playing more story based games, with a mix of FPS go for the Krakens immersion, if you're strictly FPS I'd go Blacksharks.

Kraken V3 Pro with Low Haptic Feedback gives a more realistic sound. I hate headsets that take away booming bass from explosions. My only problem is that they don't always charge fully and the haptic settings don't always stick... So I have to reset them everytime I start it up.

The Razer Kracken V3 sends me to a 40 inch desk and not the headset
bought one, haptics broke after 1 day, abnormal backnoise developed while using the hypersense

Both of these headsets have fixed cables and do have a fair amount of “flex” on the base of the connection.
