Great review! I want to upgrade from my Nari Ultimate. I had to tape one side that broke from that stupid plastic ring. this is totally different design and improved in a lot of ways. I can't game without haptic feedback now its so nice. Better microphone also its a nice bonus. I almost forgot to mention a much better battery also.
Just bought a new TV with a soundbar and subwoofer combo. Brought it home and hooked it up. Immediately discovered that my Schnauzer is terrified of it, just like she is with thunderstorms and fireworks. So, looking for something to give me that 'I was there' feeling. This is on sale for $100 Canadian. I think I'll give it a go.
Awesome review with imaginative way of displaying the Hypersense! Question, though - I primarily play immersive open world games while on Discord with friends, and watch movies/Netflix and listen to music. I care more about audio quality and both stereo and spatial surround sound performance than I do weirdly FPS-tuned audio.. and I really miss having a headset where all ranges of sound are represented well and the bass is both full-bodied and can get loud without distortion. Would you choose this headset or the Logitech G Pro X in my situation?
Very nice review. Does this headset leaks any sound that you're listening to the mic? I mean, I got the Nari Ultimate Wireless once and whenever I listened to any music, people on discord would listen to what I was listening. My actual Razer Kraken 7.1 chroma, does not leak any sound to the mic. Does this Kraken V3 leaks? Thanks bud
i also heard that this headset having an issue after a month of use it gives crackling noise and buzzing sounds like the haptic feedbacks gives problem. is that true bcs i want to buy this headset soon
This is a great question. If memory serves, it doesn’t go quite as loud as some other headsets I’ve tested, but it’s more than loud enough (at least to me). In fact, I do recall lowering the volume slightly every now and again because the Hypersense tech makes the base quite intense - thus reducing the need for loud volumes for that “boomy” feeling.
Worst headset I have ever owned. Absolute garbage. Razer has a problem with the software and it will not work with their synapse constantly will shutdown the headset. You call Razer tech support and they advise to not use their own software. Another thing the vibrating is absolute garbage as well. I mean i want to wear a headset not a vibrator on my head. It is annoying as hell and the button to shut it down does not work as well. I will never buy another razer headset. I was a 12 year plus customer of theirs until now.
