Things I missed:
There are 9 red neon lights in the theater. They are all lit for the majority of the video, but at the end of the video one of the lights flickers and turns off. This could be the light connected to Keons.
From wikipedia: The dangerous bend or caution symbol ☡ was created by the Nicolas Bourbaki group of mathematicians and appears in the margins of mathematics books written by the group. It resembles a road sign that indicates a "dangerous bend" in the road ahead, and is used to mark passages tricky on a first reading or with an especially difficult argument.

Also, the "N" used to spell Clancy on the album cover is purposely shaped that way to look like ☡
The dangerous bend symbol also plays very well with the title of overcompensate. Overcompensate being a reference to his Apple music interview after SAI released where Tyler said he's always compensating for his last album. Since this is the opening song on the album, I feel this is an indication that this is going to be a sharp bend from SAI.
You also missed one too, when they in separate room much crowder and tinier it reference to the song “The Judge” from vessel, “Three light are lit but the fourth one out, I can tell is a little bit darker than last night bout, I forgot the drought, of light bulb in this house, so I head out, down a route I think it’s heading South”
Also Nicolas Bourbaki was mentioned in Trench on the track Morph:

Just a quick correction. When Tyler (Clancy) does the symbol with his hands he is making the dangerous bend symbol which is a road sign seen on UK roads. I don't think he is making the bands logo with his hands. Tyler discussed this on a BBC radio interview today. The The dangerous bend or caution symbol ☡ was also used by Nicolas Bourbaki in real life to represent difficult passages or tricky problems on a first reading or with an especially difficult argument.

5:22 Fun fact I saw online: at one point, there’s a frame of the diagram where Keons’s district lines up with Tyler’s left eye, which I guess is a nod to how he seized Keons to serve as his inside man into Dema before Keons died.
Thanks for taking the time to do this. The only thing I saw that you missed was that out of the 9 fluorescent bulbs in the gym, one blinked out and finally died toward the end. I think that signifies Keons’ death

Only thing I saw that you didn’t mention was the bend symbol. It’s apparently called a Bourbaki symbol created by Nicolas Bourbaki. Also the bend symbol resembles an N that is apparently used in the N in Clancy.

Maybe the whole music video is a vision that Tyler/Clancy is having while seizing a member of Dema.
And not actually what the people of Dema are seeing as when Clancy stops seizing the character becomes a guy with long hair and normal hands.
Meaning that Tyler/Clancy was never there.
I don’t know enough about the lore to know what this means.
Also at the end of the music video the screen lights up as orange.
He’s not smiling and breaking the 4th wall he’s smiling to the rest of the rebels that happens at the end of the outside music video.
Maybe the same twitching in his eyes is reference to him literally just seizing into Keon’s dead body moments before they walk onto the shore in the outside music video and now’s he’s back seizing a different person within dema.
Also I think those yellow eyes only appear on the bishops.
As the one controlling Trash the dragon in the outside music video has yellow eyes.
Maybe Clancy/Tyler is related to a bishop because how can 9 bishops be tasked to capture and locate the 1000’s of people within Dema.
Maybe the bishops knew of Clany’s power all along and that’s why they keep a close watch on him in particular.
Because they seem to not care that much that 100s of banditos managed to escape.
Sorry for the long comment I’m just writing ideas as they come to my mind.
Like I said before I don’t know the lore that well so this may of all been debunked before hand

Huge theory, but here goes...
I heard somewhere that people theorize Nico or Keons to be Clancy's father, but I have a different idea. In I Am Clancy, I believe Tyler/Clancy said something about the Banditos needing him for something, or maybe that's just what I gathered from something else. Either way, in the song, (overcompensate), Tyler calls himself the "prodigal son". The prodigal son was a young man who left his home with his fathers inheritance, blew it, lost everything, but eventually came back to his father, and there was a huge celebration (this is all biblical references). Not only that, but we get an introduction for Josh for the first time, but not as torchbearer (they also failed to mention him in I Am Clancy. Makes you wonder if he's someone more important). He is introduced as Josh Dun instead of torchbearer AND mentioned as "wanted dead or alive." this whole part of the song is an address to the young people of Dema, as Clancy is trying to start a revolution. My guess is he was a legendary criminal and rebel from back a couple decades ago, and he wants to let them know: "Hey, this guy knows what he's doing. He already escaped the Bishops, and is the mastermind and leader of the Banditos. His name is Josh Dun. Sound familiar? Yeah he's that guy your parents grew up with who resisted and left Dema." Saying this would probably get the young people hyped, and give them the same feeling Clancy felt in the past that got him to eventually rebel.
Sorry got a bit on a tangent, but an important one. I'm saying all this because what if Josh Dun is Clancy's father?!?! It would make sense; he is back with the banditos crowned with glory and leadership. Although he was gone for a time, he's back, and now its time to celebrate. The reason the banditos need him, is that he is likely the chosen son of the legendary leader of the Banditos, Josh Dun. His power and newfound authority will be a huge asset to the Banditos, and this is also probably why they went to such great lengths to get him both in and out of Dema.
I'll be putting this up on a few different channels, as it is probably the best and most complicated theory I have come up with so far.
I keep getting Bible story arc vibes from all this. And your idea gives it more vibes. Not that he is any was saying josh is God or Jesus, but just seems to have similar themes. Interesting!

Last night i had a dream actually, and instead of a new song it was just bandito, jumpsuit, and migraine. Whats funny is they copied lyrics from bandito which honestly freaked me out a bit. Those were also the only lyrics from bandito that i heard in my dream.

Ok, why does everyone think Tyler is Clancy? As you pointed out, Tyler has a cut on his nose that goes from The Outside video through the event at the end of Overcompensate where you see him with the antlers. At no point throughout the rest of the time we see Tyler does he have this mark. To me, that is because we are seeing a different Tyler embodying someone who is seized. At the end of the Overcompensate video, we get a reveal that this "Tyler" was actually a seized individual with long red hair. The name Clancy means son of the Red warrior. I feel like the red hair is an indication that this individual is Clancy. Clancy is dead. And Tyler seized Clancy in this video. That's my interpretation at least.
Might be onto something 🤔 Maybe this fake/alternative was a way for Tyler and Josh to return. Maybe the unmasked man is how they get back in and was in on it 🤷🏻♀️
I don’t think I understand. In Clancys first letter like you mentioned, he claims he didn’t notice the bishops control until his ninth year, something along those lines. So if we’re watching this ninth year now but the letter was posted years ago, are we in the past?
I feel like in this video Tyler is finally spelling out for us the meaning of the twenty one pilots logo (I think over all as the symbol, not necessarily the small variations from album to album). In words and in his body motions he is referencing, I believe, three symbols that are all connected. For one, we all know the connections of his Dema world to the Nicolas Bourbaki math group. I remember reading in comments somewhere how they had created this symbol to alert readers that the concept ahead may be misinterpreted or misunderstood and advise them to use caution. Then, and I feel I may have been watching an interview with Tyler, there was mention that England had co-opted this symbol when creating their "dangerous bend symbol" road sign to alert drivers that the road ahead will be unpredictable or treacherous and advise them to proceed with caution. He described the sign as a sort of diagonal z inside a triangle. In the Clancy video his body movements can be interpreted as creating these symbols -- he makes a triangle with his hands; he puts his hands on either sides of his cheeks then diagonally to one side of his face; he spreads his arms out diagonally then bends his elbows, etc. In words, he tells us how he blatantly disregarded these warning signs and now he needs to overcompensate to get back in control and return to relative safety. In the interview he even uses the analogy of overly turning the steering wheel to get back on course. All of this to say, this has hit me over the head as (and I could be wrong, or maybe 2000 other people have already said this -- I'm just sharing my thoughts in case it contributes something useful) possibly his original meaning behind the twenty one pilots symbol in the first place. (Aside: I am almost not comfortable saying this because I don't know what his thoughts were unless he were to state this blatantly, so proceed with my own interpretation with caution. Also, I in no way am meaning to discredit Josh -- you would have no idea how much I admire him, but I feel like in this case I am referencing Tyler's words in interviews, lyrics, and again, arm movements). When I think of the symbol in this way and look over/listen to the lyrics/watch videos, for so many songs and over so many albums, it makes so much sense that he would want to advise us to proceed with caution because the lyrics, subject matter, and even vibe of the music could be dangerous. Furthermore, despite being named after pilots, how many song lyrics and videos use cars, roads, and driving as symbols/metaphors/analogies? That's rhetorical because the answer, obviously, is "a lot". Car Radio, standing in the middle of the road in Next Semester and At the Risk of Feeling Dumb, Heavydirtysoul... those were just some that came immediately to mind. It is interesting that in Overcompensate, at least in the interview, he says that he needs to pull on the steering wheel in an exaggerated way in order to steer back on course, when, in Car Radio he says he "could pull the steering wheel", but I take that as intentionally driving head on into danger. Maybe that's progress? So, my proposal here, and again, I may be the 40,000th person to say this or maybe I'm completely wrong, is that Tyler (or Clancy but you know what I mean) is finally showing us, perhaps, that the band's logo may be inspired by and connected to the Bourbaki symbol and English road sign to use caution when approaching the danger ahead. This makes sense to me because (and this is from a 50 year old woman from Ohio who has been following them since I (belatedly) discovered Blurryface in 2017, was inspired by Josh Dunn to begin playing drums at age 43, saw them on their Trench tour in Detroit and Columbus (!!!), have tickets to Clancy in Detroit (next Sunday!) and Columbus (!!!), and was the only woman in her 40s to dress up as a Bandito for Halloween), while their music -- lyrics and sound -- and videos resonate so very strongly on such a deep and emotional level with me, they indeed warrant a Caution symbol. I wholeheartedly believe Tyler feels he bears such a deep responsibility to his fans and he knows his music resonates most with people who struggle with serious problems including anxiety, depression, lack of self-esteem and self-worth, and, as he said we need to acknowledge and say the word: suicide. And he knows that we feel these emotions very deeply. The Few, The Proud, The Emotional. His music, images, and lyrics have such power to heal, but, he advises, Proceed With Caution.
Great Breakdown! Thanks. At the very end of the video, as Tyler is lowering the antlers, there appears to be a faint reflection...of a torch being lit perhaps? There are a few embers in the air. Tyler looks around, as if looking at multiple people, then begins to smirk approvingly. Tyler and Josh have made it back across the Paladin Straights, and are joining up with the Banditos on the far shores of Dema, the same ones at the end of the Outside video. The camera angle - our view - is almost like that of one of the Banditos, Like Tyler is almost looking at us and smirking, happy we are here to be with them, to help them, and to be helped by them, in their fight against Dema.

Something else interesting that i saw someone else point out is ; how is Josh/Torchbearer there when Clancy is the one doing the ritual? An then i expandes ; Is Josh/Torchbearer ACTUALLY there, or is it a situation like from Heathens? How can Josh/Torchbearer get in without doing the ritual? In NatN we know that CLEARLY he's actually there since his drums could shake and reverberate all the way to the Bishops, but now that we know this time around Clancy was using pyrokenesis (?) how does that make sense that Josh is there?
This is just a connection I made that I’m not sure is actually a connection, but In Levitate we hear the deep voice multiple times- at the end it says “ Welcome to Trench “ which I thought was kinda cool considering the first words to Overcompensate are “ Welcome back to Trench. “
Also, if you guys don't know, Sahlo Folina means Easy and Simple, which means the lyrics are: " Destroy it if i want, so I sing Easy and Simple"

I’m thinking the Prodigal Son lyric is possibly a clue about Clancy being Nico’s son.
The reason he looks the same during the teachings is cause he can morph into someone else, he wasn't actually near dema at all

I'm wondering what if the power of seizing gets to Clancy in a bad way and he becomes the new leader of Dema and also forces the banditos into Dema by tricking them into assuming it is a now safe place.

I get the basics of the whole life story, I can’t figure out the Nico, Clancy, Tyler part. Like at the end of the vid is Tyler controlling himself in Dema but then turns out to be some one else or was it never him
I would like to understand the part of the girl with long hair at the end..because Clancy revealed his face all the time to the citizens, how is that possibile that then the same person is a different one seized by him? And also, in the exact moment when the seizing is over there are red lights at the shore, maybe indicating the "students" he was teaching or someone who was already taught?
A question, the Bishop that performed the ritual in "The Outside" is really Keons? In the "I am Clancy" video I got that Nico was betrayed as him got killed by the other bishops. That's the thing that is confusing me since the Clancy video came out... really liked your video, tks for explaining everything!!

theory: all of twenty one pilots is just about distaste for math. ive been a part of this community for like 5 years and im pretty sure tyler just doesnt like math. ive solved it.
