@@brennathecatlover4360 Where did I say Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes? I only said 2 of the 3 oldest characters who are the Snow cousins. The second line refers to Catching Fire and when she won her games.
Right from the very first few pages of the book Tigris helped him, gave him advice, fixed his shirt, cared for him, and was so worried for him all the time. Snow truly was an asshole.
Okay so, for those who dont understand, this is Tigris, snow’s older cousin, she is introduced more thoroughly with the new movie songbirds and snakes, Tigris used to be a designer for the Capitol, appointed by snow himself, she was basically his advisor, always by his side, but, snow slowly began to picture her disgust for the games and everything the capitol supports, so he simply put her on the streets, (plastic surgery has nothing to do with any of it, she got it a while back to look more like a tiger since she was very much into explicit designs).
Considering Tigris was meant to be in her 70s in Mockingjay, she looks pretty awesome. Does anyone else want a Tigris centred story set during early years of Snow’s presidency? I would die for that book.
Tigris is older than 18 (Snow's age) in prequel 64 years before original, she would be more than 82. Just a detail that the writer did not plan ahead. Simple.
I have a theory that Snow did an experimental mutation on Tigris that went wrong. Here are some reasons: 1. In BOSAS book we see that Clemensia survived the snake bite but it altered her into actually having the attributes of a snake 2. Snow was not opposed to experimenting with human and animal dna 3. When Katniss meets her in the books she doesnt only have the features of a tiger but eats raw meat and seems to have more in common with Clem's symptoms of mutation than with other capital residents who simply have plastic surgery done. 4. Tigress never exhibited any insecurites about herself in bosas and was pretty self sufficient it makes no sense she would all of a sudden try to emulate the capital 5. Explains why she would be so mad at Snow she would align herself with Rebels, because her mutation and displacement as a stylist were caused by him. Ive had this theory ever since bosas book came out, hope you like it!
It’s crazy how u realize she was there for him and wanted him to be a nice person but deep down he was still mad about his fathers death and tigress knew he would change which is why the scene when he’s back in the district and she says he looks like his fathers hits so well because she could see that he had become just like his dad a person full of nothing but hate and a thirst for power and he knew this which is why he probably turned her into the tigress to show her how to be a monster as a punishment for being a kindred soul
They really did a great job of casting the same characters for the prequel movie to the main series… I can see the resemblance between this actress and Hunter.
Tigris deserved better. Snow and her went through so much and he does this to her. She was a good person, how could someone do that much damage to their family. 😢😢😢❤
I would like to point out that in the Capital Fashion culture EVERYONE was modifying themselves even President Snow so her being a fashion designer and stylist in the games probably just followed the trends
the way she smiled in sadness and joy when katniss said "i'm here to kill him" js proves how much snow broke her and how she still loves him after all he did to her
I’m quite excited to see how Hunter plays her. Even tho she’s virtually not in the movies at all, I really enjoyed Eugenies interpretation of the character.

I really hope she writes more and we get to see more of Tigris's story
I never realized how great the casting was before. They actually look like the same person
ballad of songbirds and snakes adds so much more backstory to this
Tigris is a sweetheart. This just show how much snow changed if u saw the new movie
The fact that in the book Snow actually thought that Tigris was not so beautiful but has a kind-look and that is why I think she said "until Snow decided I wasn't pretty anymore" is heartbreaking.
And yet she’s still beautiful
This is so sad, because of how Coriolanus and Tigris had such a close relationship in the Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes
Tigris deserved so much better
That's insane cause she's literally so pretty
tigris is the character that shows how much snow has changed, it’s her significance. she didn’t deserve any of this though, tigris you are gorgeous
The makeup department of this movie deserves a super high raise.
2 of the 3 oldest characters are in the prequels. The other one is Mags who won the games after Lucy and volunteered for Annie.
Wait who’s the third?
Since when is mags in ballad of song birds and snakes?
@@brennathecatlover4360 Where did I say Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes? I only said 2 of the 3 oldest characters who are the Snow cousins. The second line refers to Catching Fire and when she won her games.
@@NotThisAnonymous Read the 2nd sentence.
@@EmelyPhan Oh sorry I didn’t read it properly
Right from the very first few pages of the book Tigris helped him, gave him advice, fixed his shirt, cared for him, and was so worried for him all the time. Snow truly was an asshole.
She’s so underrated.
Tigirs is literally so pretty tho
You mean HIM, right?
@@thumbprintgraphicstfu and go outside
@@thumbprintgraphicTigris. They mean Tigris.
Okay so, for those who dont understand, this is Tigris, snow’s older cousin, she is introduced more thoroughly with the new movie songbirds and snakes, Tigris used to be a designer for the Capitol, appointed by snow himself, she was basically his advisor, always by his side, but, snow slowly began to picture her disgust for the games and everything the capitol supports, so he simply put her on the streets, (plastic surgery has nothing to do with any of it, she got it a while back to look more like a tiger since she was very much into explicit designs).
its not the same woman! she is older then Snow, and he is like 80 in HG!!!!!!
@@Clistes it is lol, the writers confirmed it, and she was only around 2-3 years older than snow, and she looks old to this day
@@Varsallam have you ever seen 83 year old woman? Like at all?
i would KILL for a movie following Tigris after the 10th Hunger Games.
Tigris loved her Cousin so much. It was so sweet.
Simple.
Masih berpegang teguh pada kebaikan, love you tigris
Tigris deserved better
i love the casting on tigris, hunter was the perfect pick for her!
And it’s so crazy to imagine that Tigris is 85 years old in this scene
It’s so sad poor trigis she’s one of the best characters in the series
I wanna hug her 🥹
I have a theory that Snow did an experimental mutation on Tigris that went wrong. Here are some reasons:
1. In BOSAS book we see that Clemensia survived the snake bite but it altered her into actually having the attributes of a snake
2. Snow was not opposed to experimenting with human and animal dna
3. When Katniss meets her in the books she doesnt only have the features of a tiger but eats raw meat and seems to have more in common with Clem's symptoms of mutation than with other capital residents who simply have plastic surgery done.
4. Tigress never exhibited any insecurites about herself in bosas and was pretty self sufficient it makes no sense she would all of a sudden try to emulate the capital
5. Explains why she would be so mad at Snow she would align herself with Rebels, because her mutation and displacement as a stylist were caused by him.
Ive had this theory ever since bosas book came out, hope you like it!
That actually makes sense tho (I haven’t read the books or watched BOSAS yet)
This hits different after seeing the prequel 😢
I’m so confused-
@chloedoesnails watch the prequel and you'll understand
@@mudflapsmoviereviews I’m
not watching it till Saturday but no I’m dying to see it
@@zoelovesmarshmallow I hope you like it!
I would absolutely love an anthology series, where they explore the lives of different characters throughout the universe.
i feel like tigris was the only person who ever truly loved snow and the only person (aside his granddaughter) he ever truly loved
I want a movie/book just about her.
this is honestly my favorite edit ever
Her saying “you look just like your father” in the end is so heartbreaking knowing how he cast her aside later.
She's absolutely beautiful!
When I realized they were the same person my jaw dropped like snow changed so much
during the movie i kept thinking tigris is so PRETTY
She’s beautiful before and after
She has to be like 90 years old at this point, she looks great
It’s crazy how u realize she was there for him and wanted him to be a nice person but deep down he was still mad about his fathers death and tigress knew he would change which is why the scene when he’s back in the district and she says he looks like his fathers hits so well because she could see that he had become just like his dad a person full of nothing but hate and a thirst for power and he knew this which is why he probably turned her into the tigress to show her how to be a monster as a punishment for being a kindred soul
Aw this made me cry
This is so sad, Tigris was so sweet and beautiful❤❤
I really want more books to explain how they got there
Me too! Like how did it get to that point, from loving her as a sister to rejecting her?
Tigris has Snow's back at every turn when they were kids. That Snow turned on her is just one more reminder of his character.
When I read the book I felt so bad for Tigris
They really did a great job of casting the same characters for the prequel movie to the main series… I can see the resemblance between this actress and Hunter.
She was his biggest supporter, this breaks my heart
Hunter was perfect for this role.
Just watched the new hunger games and now I want to know more about how tigris became a literal tiger… and also wanna buy the books lol
But she was gorgeous 😭💔
I loved that Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes made me hate Snow more. Poor Tigris, she cared for the wrong person.
Perfect casting, they genuinely look alike😍
I want a back story on Tigris. Like what exactly Snow did to her. I think it would be so interesting
In the book Snow always thought she was ugly..😢, but she is so pretty
I feel like we need a TV show here
I love Tigris! She’s my favorite character
