I'm considering full time living in it and travelling, but need to look at winterizing them, as I snowboard, you will probably have winter videos before I get my hands on one so I look forward to seeing how you stay warm without foam insulation

Found this after viewing your VW conversation (which is gorgeous by the way) and just had to comment. That downhill "race" was incredible. I felt like I was actually on the bike and holding my breathe as we hurtled down. Fantastic. The filming was great and the sound quality was excellent.
To be fair I never know what’s coming next with Neil, he hasn’t pulled anything like this for a while though and I do occasionally surprise him by bringing a dog home 😅

What a cracking project - always impressed what you will tackle and at the same time manage not to get in too much trouble off Emma! I would be in trouble for months for coming home with something like that haha look forward to seeing it come along - looks cracking and you’re saving a van which I’m sure would otherwise very soon be no more. Doing a great job there. I realy like the wallpaper. I also have a 90ties ford camper. If you like , you can put a poster in the fridge door. Take out the door. Take off the under lid and slide out the panel. I did it and it looks nice.

Brilliant! we are gradually renovating our elderly motorhome called Reg. He wasn't in such a state as Doug so a lot less to do but we have zero DIY skills. Great fun though.
Just a case of giving it a go mate ya don’t have to be a full on tradesman . Cos we sure ain’t . He have this thing of if we mess it up we do it again and it seems to work . Just have a go and shock your self I mean what’s the worst that can happen

Thats the type of mad thing i do all the time to my other half she always goes nuts great little van though and im sure you two will make it look fantastic they are great little engines in them transits rust can be a problem cills and wheel arches but well worth saving look forward to seeing what the end result is like keep up the hard work lar
I think Emma thought the same ans me at one point as well mate to be honest . But it’s mad quick you can turn some thing like this around . More people should do it . It’s 6mm ply and some paint
That’s simple that buddy . Take all the inner screws out and they both come Appart mate . There just sandwiches together with screws and sealed to the van
Comic Relief's not until November!....... only kidding. Good luck with the transformation. I swear by Bedec paint, but that's for inside the house on skirting and doors. It'll be interesting to see how it fares on an exterior of a motorhome.

As we found out when the engine blew up on the crafter mate you can’t really trust any thing . But it’s nice to have a alternative van

When you do any sealing....use a bucket of warm water ..leave your mastic. In for 15+ mins....makes it easier to apply

The windows just screwed from the inside then both sections come Appart . And the ply is square so in and out
