    Hey nice vid. Thanks. What ist the difference between a RS and a Hollow liner?

    • @BeBayStudios
      @BeBayStudios  10 месяцев назад

      Thanks Tobi!
      Hollow liners will usually have a configuration like a round liner, but the middle needle will be absent. They can have a better ink distribution and bolder line than a round liner.
      The round shader will still have the middle needle in its configuration but have more space between the needles, giving you really bold lines.

      Thank you for your input, but I have to respectfully disagree. I know a tattoo artist who uses shaders to line, and he's been tattooing 16 years. So, I feel like it's just preference.
      While it's true that using a 3RL is difficult and will show all your flaws in lining, that is also a preference and determined on the tattoo you are doing.
      Also, some people like fat and bold lines in their pieces. When done right and using varying line weights, you can make a tattoo look dynamic and mesmerizing.
      It sounds like you prefer minimalistic pieces over something like traditional, which is fine. But I wouldn't categorize artists as amateur for using a shader to line if the goal is to pull fat saturated lines.
