So happy to have come across your Vlogs guys. We're doing a similar trip ourselves at the end of August. San Francisco - Yosemite - Vegas - LA. Can't wait to see your time in Yosemite ! Loved all the Vegas vlogs !
Thanks Rachael, I’m glad you found us! It’s a great trip to do - we’ve done the LA leg in previous trips before we vlogged. It’s a fun adventure doing them all! I’m working on the Yosemite vlog now. It’s tricky as we weren’t really planning of making a video of it so trying to piece together what we do have and see what comes of it! Have a fantastic time in August! How long is your trip?
@@Tims_Travels Appreciate you guys taking the time during your trips to get the footage that you do ! I use vlogs more than anything these days to help with planning trips so they are very much appreciated no matter the length of them. Thanks so much, we've got a 2 week trip so just on countdown mode now hoping the travel day goes smooth more than anything to get us started on a good footing !
Hi T&M - thank you for another great vlog - we can tell you put a lot of effort into them and it is greatly appreciated. I used to live in the bay area in 1987-1989 and fisherman's warf hasn't changed a lot, love getting to see it again along with the cable car and other sites. The whale watching had to be so cool - they are so huge!!! I got to see a killer whale up in Seattle as a kid and it was amazing. One gets quite a perspective of life on a submarine - not the life for me - LOL. Thank you again for a great vlog - cheers guys!!!! 😎🐳
Thanks again guys! Appreciate your viewership very much so! Whale watching was great. This was I think the 3rd time to SF - we always find it an 'easy' please to spend a couple of nights
Thank you! Yosemite was awesome - just need to figure out how to put the clips together. We actually went to San Francisco and Yosemite before Vegas, but the Vegas vlogs were easier to put together as we know it far better! :)
@@Tims_Travels I see. Well I enjoyed the three day mash of SF. Hard to make Yosemite look as good as it looks in person. Good luck. Glad you enjoyed it.
Hey we are doing this trip from the UK but stuck where to stay! Our agent has picked spero in union square or riu plaza at fisherman’s wharf - just seen your video! Both places look great - no idea which to pick as first timers? Any help TIA! :) great videos!
Firstly - thank you for watching☺️ I would try and decide where you want to be based first - more downtown or by the Wharf. Our preference is around Fisherman's Wharf, just becuase I like being closer to the water and the piers and find it a little calmer than Union Square. However if you'd prefer to be around all the shops and have more of a dense area of bars and restaurants, then Union Square might be more for you. We haven't stayed at the other hotel you mentioned, but the Riu was a good, solid mid-range choice. The room was confortable, although if you can push for a room facing out, I would say go for that as ours was not and had no view (and was a bit noisy from echo's of rubbish etc being thrown out). The Riu also (when we were there at least) offered one of the best breakfast buffet's we've had as part of an included hotel stay. But be warned - it is popular and can get very busy
@@Tims_Travels you can repay me with telling me Matt's age 🤣 I turn 40 in a few months, personally, so I assumed 40 but these days I'm realizing I mistake people younger than me as "my age" and people my age look older than I think I do

I love SF. Thanks for sharing
Good old San Francisco and many a memories 🥰👍
Have you lived there before Denise, or a regular visitor?
I have a dear friend that played with a very famous San Francisco based band and used to fly out once a month for the shows 🎤🎼
That's amazing! Sounds like you were living the dream! :)
@@Tims_Travels indeed 😉
Cool sub pics. Enjoy or hope you enjoyed Yosemite.

Hi guys!
HI Denise!
First time to comment on a non Vegas video
Gotta say, someone has been working on their editing skills. The map overlay during cable car ride was impressive
Haha thank you! I’ve absolutely no idea what I’m doing! 🤪 T
@@Tims_Travels you're putting in efforts for your passion, that's what! Commendable is an understatement. Thanks for all the great videos
Well that comment put a smile on our faces, thank you 😊❤️
