How to Make an Easter Egg Tree

- A step by step tutorial on how I made my Easter egg tree using a twig and a packet of 99p plastic eggs! I love Easter/Springtime and like to get my displays up early. The house can look so dull after taking down the Christmas decorations, so I look forward to using natural golden tones and fresh greenery to brighten the place up. For this project, I show how I used a spaghetti jar to securely hold a tree branch in place, then how I decorate plastic eggs using bits of material & paint.
I hope you enjoy this video and maybe take a little inspiration for your own home this Spring/Easter.
Please get in touch with any questions you may have.
It's more fun to use things that you already have in! But if you're wondering where you can get these materials from, here's a list...
The spaghetti jar is from www.ikea.com
Plastic eggs from www.poundshop.com
Hessian, lace, twine and mini frames www.theworks.com
Have fun by cutting old bits of clothing up!
Let me know how you get on !!

My mom use to do the same thing with her eggs but used real ones. I love this idea!! I love it because working with real eggs were so temperamental. The finish you put on them was very realistic. I still have one of my mom's branch trees & I've made one of my own about 15 years ago, that I still use. Can't wait to do this project! Tfs!!
Thank you for your message. Glad you like my video. I used stone effect paint to create the texture. Have a lovely day/evening! ~Minnie~

Hi Annette, Thank you for your comment. I wish Andy was a farmer! But he's a boring airline pilot instead. Maybe one day if I let him lay a runway through the cow field! Have a great day. ~Minnie~
What can I say lovely. What part of England do reside?
Hi Maureen, I live in Hexham. Do you know it? Minnie
You could have used salt in your paint to get that grainy look cheaper then spray paint, salt, Epsom salt, craft Sade, sea salt all work great.
Yes, good idea! Thank you.
