Imagine having a short track where you get 6 MTs in a row on each lap yet Funky Kong is still faster than Rosalina or Dry Bowser.
Unless something like Flame Flyer is optimal, I guess.

That being said, Daisy Mach is very likely faster because there are 27 miniturbos in the TAS. I just happened to start the TAS with flame runner, and didn’t want to redo it once I realised so many miniturbos were being used.
Some other TASers have brought up kart because of the length of time spent outside a wheelie, however it’s guessed that because they can’t chain drift, it would be close but slower.
