As bad and dated Gonzo’s CGI was, you gotta admit there was sort of a charm to most of their CG work. And hell, in something like Blassreiter, despite the poor CGI, the many action scenes that used the CGI were still fluid, fast paced, and every hit felt impactful. But this has no charm. The movements are floaty and wonky, the attacks have no weight to them, and the characters barely emote. When the main reason for why they had to cover up two girls kissing in this series was because the models would’ve merged together, you know you’re dealing with a shit show.
3d can work if someone knows how to make it look 2d like houseki no kuni. But this studio dont know anything about anime and its 3d is horrible. Ofc its a recipe for disaster
