Everything he said about Verizon is also true about AT&T. I got lucky and bought T during that "lead cable sheathing" hit peace back in July 2023. It has done quite well.
Well... It would be interesting to analyze the structure of the debt. How much, how long and at what interest rate. Also, let's talk about the future. About the partnership with ASTS and buying an other optical fiber company (I forgot it's name...). I'll agree it's a hold, but for more than 5 years horizon I think that could be a buy. Don't kill me if you have a different opinion! 😅
What are your thoughts for 2025? Do you think the tech sector will continue to outperform, or will we see a shift towards other sectors like retail or oil or health, which have underperformed this year? Also, how do you view stocks in the oil sector, such as Occidental Petroleum (OXY), and in the retail sector, like Ulta Beauty (ULTA) and Dollar General (DG)?
you take one big factor not into account. big tech's data center need fiber. therefore the value + demand for fiber will increase drastically in the upcoming years. verizon, at&t & lumen tech. will benefit from that big time. IMO verizon is a 60$ stock and trades currently with a forward p/e of 9 at an attractive value to buy. it is undervalued at the moment.
Nice yield. They r a PIA to deal with tho. Cant stand dealing w them. Cut cord on their fios tv a while ago. Wayyy too much money. RUclips tv gets my money... Google.
Are you still buying APP at these prices ???
