Electric vehicles will be a novelty, and fossil fuel dominance is here to stay for many decades to come! The electric grid will need to be multiplied with many more power plants added. Do the math! Electric vehicles take a lot of electricity to charge. They’ll have to reduce the population by 75% .
$500 a month isn't a lot of money to rely on and your dividends shouldn't be taken out of your portfolio but reinvested. Your securities would appreciate much faster. For example, no matter how the market performs, you'll always receive nore shares each year when you reinvest.
You should say that Australians can't use webull just wasted 20 minutes thanks.

How much money do you have invested total to get this $500 a month?
My dividend journey began when I realized that two particular expenses in my budget were always going to go up and never go down. The two expenses were taxes and insurance. I realized that the dramatic rise in both will need some added income. So, I started buying shares paying dividends. I can now see that this will be the path I need to take to make sure those two expenses will not overtake my future income.
As a beginner, educate yourself, Learn the basics of investing and the stock market. There are many resources available online, including books, articles, and online courses. It’s a good idea to diversify your portfolio across different stocks and sectors to minimize risk. I’ve heard of people accruing over $550k during recessions and inflation, its important to do your own research.
Yes, I've been in constant touch with a Financial Analyst for approximately 8 months. You know, these days it's really easy to buy into trending stocks, but the task is determining when to sell or keep. That's where my manager comes in, to help me with entry and exit points in the industries I'm engaged in. Can’t say I regret it, I’m 40% up in profits just in 5months with my initial capital of $160k
I’ve been down a ton, I’m only holding on so I can recoup, I really need help, who is this investment-adviser that guides you?
‘Vivian Carol Gioia, a highly respected figure in her field. I suggest delving deeper into her credentials, as she possesses extensive experience and serves as a valuable resource for individuals seeking guidance in navigating the financial market.
She appears to be well-educated and well-read. I ran an online search on her name and came across her website; thank you for sharing.
I like investing in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or when ever you can afford to. This can be easily done because close-end funds are bought and sold on the stock market just like regular stock. That’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between $50k to $70k in dividend income
I completely agree; I am 50 years old, recently retired, and have approximately $1,250,000 in external retirement funds. I am debt free and have very little money in retirement funds compared to the total value of my portfolio over the past three years. To be honest, having a portfolio-advisor for investing is genius!
As a new investor it's always great to hear from a person who has gone through all the difficult times and come ahead of it. What are some strategies i can employ to be successful?
The name of my investment advisor is “Natalie Lynn Fisk She is a true genius when it comes to diversified portfolios, which make portfolios less susceptible to market downturns, and has a strong reputation in her area. You may already be familiar with her name; a Newsweek article gave me the information I needed. She is someone you could Google.
I copied her whole name and pasted it into my browser; her website appeared immediately, and her qualifications are excellent; thank you for sharing.
Dividends are a great thing, but they’re only really effective for passive income when you either have somewheres over 20 to 25 thousand shares of a high yielding stock. Meaning you likely need to have a few hundred thousand if not more invested in it. Re-investing dividends back into the same stock certainly does snowball with compound interest, but you only really start seeing it after 20 years of never stopping and likely needing to add additional money of your own with it….so it’ll be time consuming and costly. The way I see it if you have a million dollars at some point, that’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between 50 to 70 thousand in dividend income
Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are alot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.
Very true! I've been able to scale from $50k to $189k in this red season because my financial advisor figured out defensive strategies that help portfolios be less vulnerable to market downturns
Please can you leave the info of your investment advisor here? I’m in dire need for one.
No doubt, the stock market is definitely the most awkward teenager with the wildest mood swings! I began with a pundit by name "Catherine Morrison Evans’’ Her approach is transparent allowing total ownership and control over my position and fees are very reasonable in comparison with my ROI.
I searched her up online and checked out her credentials since I was so intrigued. Top-notch! I emailed her to inquire about accepting new clients.
I agree that many people are considering NVDA as the "Stock of the year." However, I'm curious about which stocks could potentially become the next META in terms of growth over the next decade. I've allocated $200k for investment, aiming to retire comfortably.
I think the next big thing will be A.I. For enduring growth akin to META, it's vital to avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective most importantly consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions.
This is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advisors i can get on the phone with? I'm in dire need of proper portfolio allocation
As an avid investor, I often mull over how accomplished investors are able to amass fortunes through their investment endeavors. Presently, I hold equity exceeding $545K from a recent home sale, yet I'm uncertain about my next investment move. Should I consider buying stocks at this time, or should I await another opportunity?
The present market conditions could offer chances to enhance earnings quickly, yet to implement such a plan, expertise is essential.
Undeniably factual. Despite my absence of prior investing acumen, I ventured into investments pre-pandemic and managed to amass a profit of about $450k within that year. Essentially, I solely relied on professional counsel.
Lately, I've been researching advisors, but the market updates I've encountered haven't been very positive. Who's your guide?
Actually its a Lady. Yes my go to person is a ‘LAURELYN GROSS POHLMEIER '. So easy and compassionate Lady. You should take a look at her work.
I searched for her complete name on the internet and located her page. I then sent an email and scheduled a meeting to converse with her; now, I'm awaiting her response.
The stock market rally still appears to be in the midst of a normal pullback. I’m looking to remunerate a lump sum into the stock market for the bull run, is this a good time to buy or no? my reserve of $450K is laying waste and I don't know what to do at this point tbh.
Find stocks with market-beating yields and shares that at least keep pace with the market long term. For a successful long-term strategy you have to seek guidance from a financial advisor.
I had to revamp my entire portfolio through the aid of an advisor, before I started seeing any significant results happens in my portfolio, been using the same advisor and I’ve scaled up 750k within 2 years, whether a bullish or down market, both makes for good profit, it all depends on where you’re looking.
Please who is the consultant that assist you with your investment and if you don't mind, how do I get in touch with them? My portfolio is in the red waters right now
Having a good FA is essential for portf0lio diversification. My advis0r is *Sharon Louise Count* who is easily searchable and has extensive knowledge of the financial markets.
Found her online page by searching her full name, I wrote her an email and scheduled a call, hopefully she responds
Is this a good time to buy stocks? I know everyone is saying we are in the bull market and all, but obviously there are strategies to maneuver when there is a bear market but these strategies doesn't come common to the average folk, I'm attempting to create a portfolio for me and my children that will at least be $1.2m in value.
As you are aware, higher risk equals higher rewards, yet professionals often execute these flawless high-value deals.
By talking with an adviser, I was able to remain afloat in the market, increase the percentage of my portfolio to about 65% since January, and generate over 950K in net profit from high dividend generating equities in a short period of time. If you're not sure about the market, you ought to give it a try.
This aligns perfectly with my desire to organize my finances prior to retirement. Could you provide me with access to your advisor?
“Viviana Marisa Coelho” is my portfolio-coach, I found her on Bloomberg where she was featured, I looked up her name on the internet. Fortunately I came across her site and reached out to her, you can verify her yourself.
Thanks a lot for this recommendation. I just looked her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.
Is it a good time to buy stocks right now? How long will it take for us to recover? I know everyone claims that equities are now inexpensive. Although there are tactics to be applied in this market, the common person cannot access these strategies. Would I be better off investing my money somewhere else?
If the market has taught me anything, it's that it usually bounces back, but I can't seem to concentrate on the long term, especially because important variables like my retirement and my reserve are having a disastrous impact on inflation. I need a reliable data trajectory as well as a solution as soon as feasible.
It's not that you're doing anything wrong; it's just that you don't have the knowledge to profit in a down market. The only individuals who may earn greatly during tumultuous times like these are experts with considerable knowledge who must have observed the 2008 catastrophe. Their whole skill set is based on trading long and short at the same time, using profit-driven strategies and reducing risk as a buffer against unavoidable downtrends, thus they are well-suited to do so.
Due to the significant falls, I need advice on how to rebuild my portfolio and develop more successful tactics. Where can I find this teacher?
Sure , I don't know if I am permitted to drop this here, but do run a check on EILEEN RUTH SPARKS, she was in the news a lot in 2020. She’s my coach and handles my portfolio also
I can see why She is so busy; her career and outstanding qualifications are Fascinating! So I immediately copied Eileen's complete name and pasted it into my browser.
A lot of folks have been going on about a January rally and said stocks that would be experiencing significant growth these festive season, any idea which stocks this may be? I just sold my home in the Boca Grande area and I’m looking to remunerate a lump sum into the stock market before stocks rebound, is this a good time to buy or no?
Such market uncertainties are the reason I don’t base my market judgements and decisions on rumours and here-says, got the best of me 2020 and had me holding worthless position in the market, I had to revamp my entire portfolio through the aid of an advisor, before I started seeing any significant results happens in my portfolio, been using the same advisor and I’ve scaled up 750k within 2 years, whether a bullish or down market, both makes for good profit, it all depends on where you’re looking.

great video, dividend stocks are just great. a steady and safe way to earn .. ehh unless the company reduces or cancels. I diversified last year into an AI trading firm ( birizon) , gold, and real estate. little by little
Ai bots are great, birizon is very good
The markets generally are unpredictable, so that one has to have different scenarios. The idea that you can actually predict what’s going to happen contradicts my way of looking at the market. My advice for investors is to get an expert.
1. J.P. Morgan Chase
2. Abbve
3. PepsiCo
4. Kraft Heinz
5. ExxonMobil
6. Home Depot
7. Voo Vanguard 500
8. Johnson & Johnson
Are these still good investments
@@banz6208 These are SWAN stocks. Sleep well at night. Good stable companies with a good history of paying dividends. ABBVE is a new name but it is a spin-off pharmaceutical, with Humera.
How much do I need to put on each? Thanks
VWO pays more in dividends than VOO.
In new to this and would like to know what the best broker y’all using with low/no monthly fee since I have read bad review about RH/Acord.
Thanks
I’m confident the current market has an equal possibility of making high-value gains or losses, so I'm cautious with my selections; I recently read an article about someone that accrued over $250k in this current market crash, and I could really need ideas on how to achieve similar profits.
sure there are loads of ways to make a killing right now, but such high-volume near impeccable tradess can only be carried out by real-time experts.
@@VanPelt54u7fcyde57 Having an investment adviser is the best way to go about the market right now, especially for near retirees, I've been in touch with a coach for awhile now mostly cause I lack the depth knowledge and mental fortitude to deal with these recurring market conditions, I nettd over $220K during this dip, that made it clear there's more to the market that we avg joes don't know
@@rebeccaartgallary My advisor is "Deanna Lynn Renfro " You can easily look her up, she has years of financial market experience.
@@arthurworld9768 I just looked up Deanna online and researched her accreditation. She seem very proficient, I wrote her detailing my Fin-market goals and scheduled an appointment
Real talk. Kudos. Though my greatest concern is how to recover from all these economic and global troubles and stay afloat especially with the political power tussle going on in the US.
As with any big financial decision, it’s important to keep your guard up for economic risks. However, smart planning, time management and seeking advice from a financial adviser can help keep you and your money safe.
I've been in contact with a coach for a while now, primarily because I don't have the background knowledge or the mental toughness to handle these recurrent market conditions. During this downturn, I made over $220K, demonstrating that there is more to the market than the typical person is aware of. Right now, especially for those who are close to retirement, having an investing advisor is the wisest course of action.
@@tampabayrodeo2474 Fantastic! can you share more details of the advisor?
"Maria Juliana Ramirez" is directing me; I contacted her after stumbling upon her in a CNBC interview. Since then, she has offered entry and exit points for the stocks I pay attention to. If you need supervision, you can look her up online.
Very appreciative of this Pointer. Finding your handler was simple; she appears to be knowledgeable and adaptable. I scheduled a call with her.
The Market have been suffering over the past month, with all the three indexes recording losses in recent weeks. My $400,000 portfolio is down by approximately 20%, any recommendations to scale up my returns before retirement will be highly appreciated.
Find stocks with market-beating yields and shares that at least keep pace with the market for a long term. For a successful long-term strategy I recommend you seek the guidance a broker or financial advisor.
Very true , I diversified my $400K portfolio across multiple market with the aid of an investment advisor, I have been able to generate over $900k in net profit across high dividend yield stocks, ETF and bonds in few months.

Thank you for this tip. it was easy to find your coach. Did my due diligence on her before scheduling a phone call with her. She seems proficient considering her résumé.
Didn't Charlie Munger and Warren Buffett invent the strategy of buying/investing when the market is low and also buying/investing when the market is high? As Warren Buffet said, he has seen this happen many times in his life. Not an investor. My wife and i never earned more than a middle class salary. We plan to get retired at 58 with a stock portfolio worth $4M. We have never sold so much as one share of stock...

@@corrySledd Thank you. I just checked her out now and I've sent an email. I hope she gets back to me soon. I've been thinking of doing this for a long time now, and I've procrastinated enough already.
To my understanding this just proves how much we need an edged as an investors because playing the market like everyone else just isn’t good enough. I’ve been quite ensured about investing in this current market and at the same time I feel it’s the best time to get started on the market, what are your thoughts?!
thank you for this tip , I must say Margaret, appears to be quite knowledgeable. After coming across her online page, I thoroughly went through her resume, and I must say, it was quite impressive. I reached out to her, and I have booked a session with her.
Currently I'm just being smart and frugal with my money, I'm in the green 47% over the last 23 months and l've accumulated over $700K in pure profits from DCA’ing into stocks, ETFs, dividends and futures. However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait.
Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. I completely agree. I have been consistent with my profit regardless of the market conditions. I got into the market early in 2019 and the constant downtrends and losses discouraged me, so I sold off. I got back in December 2020 and this time with guidance from an investment adviser who was recommended by a colleague
Is there any chance you could recommend who you work with? I've wanted to make this switch for a very long time now, but I've been very hesitant about. I'll appreciate any recommendation.
The thing is that I really don't like making such recommendations. But there are many freelance wealth managers you could check out. I have been working with "Helene Claire Johnson " for a long now, and she's made decent returns. If she meets your discretion, then you could go ahead.
I looked up your advisor's full name and she appears to be trustworthy and knowledgeable. She is a fiduciary who acts in any individual's best interests. So I left a message on her website, and I'm hoping she responds soon.
The failure of Silicon Valley Bank has torn into global markets, with investors ripping up their forecasts for further rises in interest rates and dumping bank stocks around the world. I'm at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my dipping 200k portfolio, what’s the best way to take advantage of this bear market?
lnvestors should be cautious about their exposure and be wary of new buys, especially during inflation. Such high yields in this recession is only possible under the supervision of a professional or trusted advisor.
I agree, having a brokerage advisor for investing is genius! Amidst the financial crisis in 2008, I was really having investing nightmare prior touching base with an advisor. In a nutshell, i've accrued over $850k with the help of my advisor from an initial $120k investment

You’re right but a lot of people remain poor due to ignorance
Not because of ignorance, it’s because of the high rate of unprofessionalism in the cypto market
The first step to successful investing is figuring out your goals and risk tolerance either on your own or with the help of a financial professional but is very advisable you make use of a professional like I did. If you get the facts about saving and investing and follow through with an intelligent plan, you should be able to gain financial security over the years and enjoy the benefits of managing your money.
The stock market rally run is gone, but I'm not

>>Wall Street pitched so-called quality stocks with high profitability and low debt, as a kind of insurance against whatever the economy might throw at you. Quality stocks have underperformed the S&P500 this year, waiting may not be the best decision for investors. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Instead of trying to predict and prognosticate the stability of the market and precisely when the change is going to happen, a better strategy is simply having a portfolio that’s well prepared for any eventually, that’s how some folks' been averaging 150K every 7week these past 4months according to Bloomberg.
That’s crazy, I’m just doing everything wrong with my portfolio.
The US-Stock Mrkt had been on it’s longest bull-run in history, so the mass hysteria and panic is relatable considering we’re not accustomed to such troubled mrkts, but there are avenues lurking around if you know where to look. My wife and I are retiring this year with over $7,000,000 in tax deferred investments. up until 3 years ago we were 100% in the S&P. During bear markets we had a perfect plan. We got an investment manager in our corner and didn’t look at our portfolio for nearly a year.
Same here, 75% of my portfolio is in the red and I really don’t know how long I can stomach the losses. I’m beginning to reach a breaking point.
Patience patience patience. It's a cycle.... a sucky point in the cycle, but a cycle nonetheless.
Wow, that’s stirring! Do you mind connecting me to your advisor please. I desperately need one to diversified my portfolio.
i like you talking on this subject because my dad back in 1990 was buying life insurance through canada life. canada life was expanding a few years later and the letter he got was do you want to own shares in the company and collect a dividend. he said yes and i did not find out many years later on he was collecting about $400-$500 every month in a dividend. i was in my 20's and did not understand what dividends could do for you.
Beware of the investment activity that produces applause; the great moves are usually greeted by yawns.

Great video! Same with me man, been getting much more in to dividends. Specifically dividend ETFs for even less risk but a high yield dividend (made some good videos on this for anyone interested)
Same here. I spread over high dividend etfs and stocks with 18% monthly dividend rendement.
Just to be clear, in order to have a pay out of $508 a month, that means he makes $6096 from dividends alone. At an average rate of 4% for dividends, you would need to have a balance of approximately $152400 in dividend yielding stocks.
i was jsut going to post the same thing. hold on let me quickly get 150k form my left pocket here to quickly get some stocks.

yup thats true,,,,its about 160K..... get 508 per month X 12 months = 6096 per year . take 6096 / .04 yield = 152K
This showed up on my homepage feed today and even though it was put out ten months ago, the information is still solid. I own JPM (.84% of my portfolio), ABBV (4.90%), PEP (3.87%), and KHC (.49%). I don't own XOM, but do have CVX (1.13%) in that space. I don't own HD, but do have LOW's (2.78%) and finally I have JNJ (4.06%) and five shares of it spinoff or whatever they are going to call it with Kenvue (.04%). just have a couple mil in expendable capital and you too can get payed 500 a month in dividens lmao didnt hear you mention the capital requirements to make that dividen yeild
$500 a month would be $6000 annually. I didn't do the math, but I guesstimate that the average dividend yield of those 7 stocks is 3%. You would need $200K invested between those accounts to get $500 a month.

How much do they pay back in dividends
Bro, you gotta do something about all the spam bots in the comments.
I've spent hours upon hours on leaning about investing, and I've learned multiple times more watching you for one day, then I have with all my other time. I kid you not. I subbed today and have watched your videos all day at work, about 20, and I've learned so much. Thank you for your channel and transparency.
I have 100K in Robinhoods cash account earning 4.4%. I'm getting $366 per month or $4,400 per year. I went on Robinhood to buy some of the stocks you mentioned but did estimations on each of those stocks if I bought $100K for each of them. It turns out that none of those dividends beat the return of 4.4% return from the cash account. I realize that I would miss out on the gains and the dividends, especially from the VOO ETF, but with the market up in the air I stand to lose a lot too. Wouldn't it be better to hold onto the 4.4% until there's some solid ground under the market?
*I started investing when I was 30, mostly through sweat equity. I just turned 35, and this last month was the first time that my passive income broke $100,000 for the month. This is solid advice! DO IT*
Any guide?
As they say "no pics, no proof"
Thanks for the video will check the stocks out
It's a miracle and I would testify, $110,000

Thanks for continuing updates I'd rather trade the stock market as it's more profitable. I make an average of $34,500 per week even though I barely trade myself
Thank you Lucy Mary Liam $45,000 weekly Profit regardless of how bad it gets on the economy.
After I raised up to $325k trading with her I bought a new house, bought a new car for my wife here in the states 🇺🇸🇺🇸 also paid for my son's surgery (Oscar). Glory to God.shalom..
I just withdrew my Profits a week ago, To be honest it was an amazing feeling when the profits hits my wallet I wish I could reinvest but, too much bills
I love when i see a notification of a dividend payment received and then reinvested in my brokerage account. love your videos
One thing to note is that JNJ will be splitting its consumer health business and its pharmaceutical business. It’s consumer business will be more of a stable dividend stock whiles it’s pharmaceutical business will be more like a growth stock.
Good tip!
JNJ is very expensive at the moment though
Something I'll be waiting for. US pharma stocks are generally quite good, but there is one underlying concern I have with them as to why I am reluctant to put money into them - predominantly because I'm not certain how long the US will continue to have a heavily privatised healthcare industry. Everywhere else on earth has a health service, while the US uniquely has a health sector, and I think it's an inevitability that the US will eventually shift toward a similar model reflecting what almost every other country in the world has; I'm just not sure when this would happen.
I love dividends and have been learning for a few years. One important lesson is to now chase high yield - always check what's behind the curtain :)
Thanks for ur input I’ll do more research
Right on. Thanks again.
Stock trading is the best 🔥
Lack of trading discipline is the primary reason for intraday trading losses it is estimated that nearly 80- 85% of intraday traders end up losing money in the stock market Experiencing loss is also part of the game but that don't mean you should give up. my advice to new beginners is trade with professional expert on profitable platform
I learnt from my last year's experience, i am able to build a suitable life because I invested early ahead this time.
@Loveth Gold how good is he, I think I wanna try him out?
Trading is mental game, that is why most people lose money because they cannot control their emotions. Because the prevalent idea of our culture is to effortless indulge and focus on their own pleasure and wellbeing, but controlling your emotions is unpleasant and painful
I have also experience his great work too, he is good can assure you of that
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with the community! Keep it up.
Once you discover you can make $1,000+ from dividends each month without having to go to work, your view towards life changes drastically
Once you discover passive income from any source (dividends, interest, staking, etc.) it all changes!
How do you that
Have you reviewed the idea of just investing into things such as SCHD/JEPI in order to diversify throughout their holdings while also having a high yield?
Really good video Henry, and I'd like to add that 55% of PepsiCo's 2021 revenue (sales) were from food! And that Lay's is far and away the leading potato chip brand, with a 29.6% market share compared to Pringles at 9.6%. And, they are a DIVIDEND KING (50 straight years of dividend growth).
Russie, check out INTC and DOW.
I love Pepsi stock, such a beast!
@@The_Bronze_Spoon_Investor I know, right??
Very informative video. What do you think of holding SCHD as a percentage of your dividend portfolio?
Personally love it. Also check SPYD
Looks like a pretty well rounded portfolio, but I think you should really look at some energy stocks for dividends. Some are SO, AEP, DUK, ED, all pay a nice dividend and tend to swing up when the market is doing poorly. People like to hide in these until the market swings back.
Not at ALL sure about Shel
thanks Nygold! good point
MReit like $ARR is a good BUY !!
ABBV is a great div stock. I own it. Despite expiring patents, they have a robust pipeline. Enjoyed your take!
I own 38% of all J.P Morgan. I'm a God amongst mere mortals.
I'm DCAing in MYSTICFLIP as well. ETH heavier DCA and ALGO. I'm taking your advice and starting Google tomorrow with a 50 dollar purchase and continuing Microsoft and Apple. VTI and VOO on another app and longterm portfolio. Here we go family!
MYSTICFLIP
How many shares of each stock do you have? I am getting confused as you are talking about how much they pay every year yet your title says every month?
I like the idea of Webull, but I have my brokerages, and I need to reduce the number of stocks I have and focus on adding to positions. Once I can, at some point, sell some growth stocks for a decent profit, I could consider adding another company.
Currently retired and receiving about $40k in dividends, imo I can say that dividends are indeed good for passive incomes and are long term investments that grow profits overtime, it's a good defense against bad markets and also reduces risk.
Damn bro send me a dollar
i would be so grateful if you answered my questions! :) When did you start investing? How did you get so good at picking out the best dividends? What app/ website do you use to get dividends?

Hi Humphrey do you recommend investing in etf's or individual stocks?
Thank you
Great video and solid stock list!
Thanks Zaid!
With the way most trends are going, it’s best to be really knowledgeable on the charts or work with one who is.
To be honest, the later is better.
Yeah. Especially now that AI trade bots are being used. Profit margins go a lot higher with this

very well presented. both voice and content.
Your videos offer so much real value! Thanks for staying true to your video titles unlike many others who use cheesy titles to attract viewers! Thanks!!!
Great video, my only critique is saying Home Depot and lowes are there only two home improvement stores. Here in the Midwest we also have Menards and fleet farm. They definitely are smaller, but in Mn, menards has as big, if not bigger presence than either HD or low. So it does depend on where you live, (obviously, I know) 🤣
I'm In Omaha, NE and Menards is by far the King here.
Building out a solid dividend portfolio is something I plan on doing in the future when I’m more focused on passive income. Right now while I’m young I am mainly focused on building my wealth and investing in myself while setting myself up for retirement in the background through my 401k and Roth. I think your portfolio will shift with you as your life stage changes, and that’s the beautiful thing about investing. This was a great video Humphrey and thanks for the ideas!!
Thx spencer :)
@@humphrey Of course Humphrey!
Thank you 🙏
Thanks!!
No problem!
When oil went negative, I jumped into XLE at around $22 per share, the dividend was a monster and even though it was way off, the companies behind it were quality, fast forward it trades between $80-$92 so got a huge boost, but the original investment is making roughly 17% in dividends or something around that.
Sometime timing is the difference maker and it takes experience to recognize the oversold
Great video Humphrey! All solid choices. I've been buying the ETFs VOO and SCHD weekly. Loving the dividends and compounding interest.
I commit about Kraftheinz is that you mentioned mostly heinz products. Kraft by itself has products in multiple sectors internationally. What kid hasnt heard of Kraft mac and cheese, Lunchables, and Jello. Campbells soup, Philadelphia cream cheese, Boca Burger, and so many more.
💯💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏another informative video Humphrey!!! Thankssssss
22 years old and made $120 in dividends back in 2022. Been reinvesting that back in to grow more this year.
I know oil isn't going away anytime soon, but considering the auto industry is headed toward EVs over the next 10 years, shouldn't we be investing in the big electric utilities that also pay good dividends? Just curious what your thoughts are.
I was thinking the same thing.
DUK, SO, D are some good ones to look into as far as energy companies. if you find others, let me know!
Thank you Humphrey- saw the TurboTax spot!!
Thanks.
With inflation currently at about 10%, my primary concern is how to grow my reserve of $240k which has been sitting duck since forever with zero to no gains, sure I'm all in on the long term game, but with my savings are lying waste to inflation and my portfolio losing gains everyday, I need a remedy asap.
it's all about finding the right moment to take advantage of and generate colossal profit, which is why you need to do your research and find a portfolio--Advisor.
i agree hobbs, I thought I was doing alright profit wise, until I needed assistance with diversification, I reached out to a financial advisor and in less than a year I was just $51,000 shy away from $850,000 which is like 7x more than I make on my own
This recommendation is coming at the right time because i am literally grasping for straws atm! I looked her up online and scheduled a phone call with her.
Hi can i contact you in anyway
Series 1 Bonds are currently at 9.62%. Ally Bank is currently at 2.10% APY. Have to have cash on side for scenarios like this. Where at least 100% of your money isnt losing to inflation. I have about 40k (dropped from 50k+) invested. $20k in "cash" (bank) but have it in two different banks (2.10% and 2.50%) while yes this money is at risk to surely lose to inflation, at a time like this the cash on side is not only leverage to seize an opportunity if one to arise, but also cuts my loss that my portfolio is currently seeing. In short most people are not only losing 10% to inflation but more due to unrealized losses. While im also losing im not losing to the full extent most are. I can put 10k in Series 1 rn if I wished and would not lose to inflation, but this is where opportunity cost comes in. Have to wait a bit to see if a good opportunity arises...
EPD has been one of my absolute favorite dividend stocks for a while now. Thanks for the content Humphrey!
if you had to choose 1 stock to hold long term would it be vdy or qyld
Total return is more important than just dividend yield. When stocks pay dividends instead of reinvest thats capital excluded from the company and value taken away from the share price. Both dividend yield and share price affect the total return; its less important where that return is coming from. Whilst dividends produce regular cash flow if thats really needed stocks could just be sold instead. Not to mention in the US dividends incur the horrid 30% tax. What other difference is there?
Also its worth mentioning dividends paid out as stock instead of cash can dilute earnings, which can also have a negative impact on share prices in the short term.
JP Morgan Chase, AbbVie, PepsiCo, Kraft Heinz, Exxon Mobil, Home Depot, VOO, Johnson & Johnson. I don’t have any of them individually, I think some are in my ETFs.
Great vid, its inspiring to see portfolios bringing in big amounts per month from dividends! I'm 25yo and still in the early stages of building out my dividend portfolio to get to financial freedom from dividends, I just started a channel to track my progress and to motivate young people like me to start investing. I will be there financially free one day!! Good luck growing your portfolio too!
What app or website are you using for all these stocks though? I’m new to stocks
So many questions. How much you put cash to get just $500 a month? All dividents you mentioned are payable once every 3 months. And they cost a lot. Plus the go down in value. It is not a smart move to make when I can just buy a 6 months bond and make 5,5-6%
Hi, I have a question. When is a good time to buy dividend stocks? Is that just after the dividend payment or just before? De broker is planning to pay my dividends again soon. Is it better to wait to buy dividend shares after it is paid or not? Love your videos. Gr. Michael
It does not make any difference. Around the dividend payment date, the stock exchange typically adjusts the price of a stock to account for the payment of the dividend. When a company pays a dividend to its shareholders, it is essentially returning a portion of its profits to them, which reduces the value of the company. This can cause the stock price to fall, as the company's overall value has decreased.
@@nedcpa Thank you for your reply.
on Pepsico: they have a nice product diversification in pretty daily consumed brands as Quaker, cheetos, mtn dw, etc. But KO has that wide economic moat that pepsico dont, also KO has being increasing dividends from more years than Pepsico, both have great financials too.
PepsiCo may be #2 in soft drinks, but 55% of their total revenue in 2021 was from food, and on top of that Lays is by FAR the leading potato chip brand - by 20% over pringles. PepsiCo is also a dividend king, with an 11% 20 year CAGR, compared to KO's 8% 20 year CAGR, not to mention. But, PEP does have a higher FCF ratio, almost 95% which I'd like to see start coming back down.
I look at it as not PepsiCo or Coca-Cola but PepsiCo AND Coca-Cola both being in a dividend portfolio.
This video is generally correct in his philosophy to buy dividend stocks. However, stock prices are forecast to drop significantly in the near term. Right now, I would be more inclined to buy CDs, mostly as a hedge on inflation. Interest rates for CDs are generally going up, and can in some cases exceed what one would get from a stock dividend yield. Eventually, this trend will reverse, and stocks will be the better investment. But right now, I find CDs attractive, and unlike stocks, CDs are insured.
Hi Humphrey thank you for the presentation about investing in stock market how does one open an account to start investing l am Ruth from Nairobi Kenya do l need an broker if so which broker can you recommend thank you and nice weekend.
I have three of those stock picks. How many shares do you have of each to earn the $500.00? Would you advise having at least 10 shares of each stock?
never mind i see the answer below
he must have overall more than 100k in all of them
@@jeanniebennett3708 where is the answer to your question?
How much do you currently have invested to yield $500 monthly in dividends?
$170,000 or so.
Look for stocks that have paid steady, increasing dividends for years (or decades), and have not cut their dividends even during recessions.
For dividends, SCHD > VOO
Tip 1% of the 🔝 1%
Did you mean SCHD is better than voo? How about sphd?
What would make more sense is if you can put out the % we can get as dividend amount based on the total dollar amount. When you say 500 per month, what % is that of the total you have invested? 10% or ??
If he is investing in companies that have dividend yields that pay at 3 to 4 percent, you would have to be at least 190K invested to get you that 500 monthly income, again it’s all based on the yield on cost per his portfolio, he may be averaging below 3% then his investment would be more.
Example if average yield of his overall stock portfolio yields 3%, for $500 a month, or 6k a year, would need $200k invested.
Thank you for the information. I was looking at LIF. Its a Canadian Stock. My father had this stock for over 10 years, split 4 times and pays a really high dividend.
Thanks
You didn't mention your total investment. Would you mind sharing or giving an idea how much investment is required to earn that amount in monthly dividend?
Would like to know
You can work the numbers backwards to figure that out
Could I ask how much you have invested in all of these to get 500 dollars a month
Good content but what's lacking is explaining how much you have invested to achieve the $500+ a month. Rough estimates reveal hundreds of thousands in shares need to be invested in these various securities just to earn over $500 in dividends a month, is that right?
Hey yang. What are some stocks you would suggest are ready to be bought now. 18nov 2021
Dividend investing is a great forum of diversification. Great video & portfolio
Aren’t dividends taxed as income? And that would cut into your overall “profit”?
Unless held in 401k, IRA, then no taxes until money withdrawn. Yes, you pay taxes in a taxable account on the year you receive the dividends.
With the sivident yields u mention u have to have a least 250k invested to rexiwve 500 usd....y didnt u mention that!???
