- The Su-11 is one of those infamous planes which has earned a reputation for good reason. It was sitting at 7.0 for the longest time, so I thought I should see how it's doing at 7.3.

I got like 8:1 kd in it which says how good plane is and I constantly see people that have kd of 0,5:1 literally saw a couple of people with kd better than 2:1 in over 300 games. This shows why it is so low, yet being so busted in performance, people just have no idea what they are doing.

I can say that a downtier in this thing is a slaughter of the enemy team. The speed this thing can go means you'll like catch props while they're still climbing and their maneuverability doesn't mean much when you can sneak up and pick your fights.

I feel like I am one of the reasons it got moved up lol.
I played it for a month (the month before it got moved up) and had
an 80% win loss ratio,
and over 300 kills and less than 100 deaths.
The sad part is most of my deaths were caused by the German Sea hawk mk.10 at 8.0.

This plane made passing through this br range a nightmare. I gave up and resorted to ground pounding.
Bought this plane during the summer sale. So far I've played 128 games, got 55 kills and died 89 times.
Yeah this is how i progressed.. now i got the MiG-19PT, at first i hated the jet and now i love.. once you get good at aiming because those guns the jet only has 140 rounds.. i killed a a6e tram in a burst And killed a j32b at 10,000m man the mig19 can hold its speed and i am not even spaded i killed him with a missile.. because the higher you are the better the crappy missiles get..
The sole reason why i don't fly my 262 A1/U4 more often
I've beaten these in the Sea Meteor and the F89B, both of which have insane performance but also major downsides unlike the SU-11. Everything else at its BR is at a massive disadvantage.
What do you think of the F89B, I've been considering buying it but lots of people say that its hard to get the nose on targets

Why su-11's br is not going higher is just owe to everage su11 pilots like turnfighting with p51h and they crying "su-11 is weak"

I have one of these things, i purchased it during the anniversary discounts with just very low 7.0 experience, beacuse i found out how low soviet union repair costs are. I was positively surprised by its performance, it had really good survival potential, but to this day, that cannon is just about luck if i hit or not, at the uptier. I was never able to effectively fight F-84s this thing meets. Yes, im usually able to dodge their attacks when they chase me, usually even more, but whatever F-84 does, im not able to hit it with the cannon.
Once you get the aim down I'm sure you'll do even better

I might be biased because this was my first jet that i used, but after a couple hours flying it i honestly didnt get the appeal, would refund if possible

While I agree seeing this, I feel like if it's uptiered to 8.0 wouldn't it stand risk of being up against planes with some real good misiles when getting up tier fights? If all fights were within .5 battle rating at that level yes 8.0 might be good but that against 9.0 missiles I think that's too much
thats the reality for any 8.0 getting uptiered. its a problem of uptiering. you cant take those things into account when you think about what tier is correct.
Not really no, the worst it could fight is AIM-9Bs and Red Tops. 8.3 is when you have to worry about the good stuff
Every 8.0 jet in the game has this issue. Jet BR compression is a known problem.

They should definitely make more than the few they have
@@GeneralLee2000 what WT actually should do is make the test flights and training more advanced and add harder challenges so players know what they getting in to. I bought a Mig21 MF premium and at 9.0 it's brilliant but the R3R missiles are a let down and I could practise against f5s and F4s in the test flight I'd have thought twice about buying it because the missiles are disappointing

they should make it so premiums are STARTER tanks that help you progress. the rest of the game should be tanks from research. but you fucking whales cant stop yourselves from buying shit from this company

Most of all it is PAY.. the only aim of gaijin lol... you should mention the REAL aspect ...
Only P2W if you can aim. the low cal cannons are useless, and the high cal cannon has almost no rounds. If you can't aim well enough, it's a useless aircraft.
But if the paypig you're fighting against can aim, there's nothing you can do with any class of aircraft
I hesitate to considering anything in this game pay to win, simply because of the way the game plays. I can't think of any way anything could legitimately be considered pay to win, only pay to progress which is very real and present in the game.
Its still abviously incredibly powerful, I agree to that, I just don't think it's pay to win, it makes things easier for you but nothing is guaranteed. Mainly arguing with the video title here I haven't yet watched the video entirely.
By pain to win, in the case of War Thunder, its more akin to pay to win matches and pay to get easy kills. Think of like the premium SU-25/A-10, how they have all apsect missiles that always hit and most enemies at the battlerating cannot flare.
Of course nothing is guaranteed, but when the plane is SO much more powerful at the same BR I personally say it's a pretty safe bet. Pay to progress is the usual term I'd use for most premiums, this is an exception
I agree with you 100%, the Player and skill are major factor not many players can take a Prop Plane and vs a Jet and win but they are many that can hell I myself have done it. An many players that fly the Su-11 normal eat dirt due to fixation issues seen it so many times.
@@GeneralLee2000 I get what you're saying and there is absolutely a performance advantage, but in my eyes that performance advantage doesnt always "make you win" and can in fact, to someone who doesn't know what they're doing unlike us, actually be a detriment or hinderence more than it helps them. Obviously to us it seems pay to win when we fly them but in the grand scheme of things even in an average players hands I really can't call it pay to win.
If anything like the other guy said, the A-10 and Su-25 have more of an argument for this than this does imo. But I won't call them pay to win either.
The ONLY aircraft I will ever concede was pay to win at any point in this games history was the Harrier GR1 way back when it was introduced. Absolute fucking cancer and you couldn't do literally anything besides just run away and never get within 2-3 km. The SRAAMS would even be all aspect at times. And there weren't any flares either. That's the only exception in my eyes.

Big L take on this one. If Gayjin sees the USA XP series vehicles as fine (They are way too low BR) then the SU-11 is fine where it's at.

This thing can't be the same br as a shooting star or a 262, 7.7 is still to good considering what it will be fighting against in a .5 downtier, it needs 8.0 so it can get spanked by some missiles once in a while while not stomping ww2 era jets all the fucking time. 800 km pulling 11g full turn while losing no energy is enough performance to put vietnam era and even higher jets to shame.
