Coimbatore could have become a major manufacturing hub but was deprived of it thanks to the Central Government in the 1960s.
Frankly speaking, the vast array of vintage cars at GD Naidu's museum has baffled me. Never have I seen such a gorgeous collection of by-gone cars. sri late GDB was a hard working genius. He did not get any encouragement worthy of him by the then govt. I wish I could have visited this museum when I visited Kovai a few years ago.

Good Collection of Automobiles, some of the vehicles were really unique. But this pales in comparison to the Pranlal Bhogilal Museum Collection near Ahmedabad in Gujarat, that's the biggest collection of Vintage Cars in the World.
True but this one's commendable too..Dastaan car world at Ahmedabad is unbelievable 90 percent cars in working condition and around 100 + cars on display...what dedication!!
