I thank with great enthusiasm to Mr and Mrs.G.D.Gopal and G.D.Rajkmr to reveal more and more facts with beautiful vedio's of G.D.Naidu and also his voice as it was not heard by this generation. With high request to Gopalji to please show G.D.Naidu room where he lived and personal things he used like pen.....or so. Please. I thankyou the G.D. family for contributing such a wonderful history of industrial coiyambuthur.
I'm absolutely baffled by the fact that this genius man was not part of my text book while growing up. Thanks to this video that I got to know this great inventor/businessman from South India. Its so common these days to talk about IIT and startups but to be able to do it in that era is no less than a monumental achievement. He didn't stop there, he opened polytechnic to impart and share his knowledge with others is just mind blowing. We have been told about so many Indian scientists over the years but never heard about him. Thanks to film division I discovered this great inventor/scientist. GD Naidu is the Pride of India.

The video shows that Mr.G.D.Naidu exemplified by his life that school drop-out students need not worry if they are personally interested to improve their skills. One small thing. It is shown in the whole video, that he got a patent for battery powered shaving razor while in Germany. So, he was definitely aware of the process of innovation and patenting. Other than the Shaving Razor, how many Patents he has registered for his innovative products, either in India or abroad, which is not at all told in the video by his family members. Manufacturing is a different thing. No doubt he contributed his part to make Coimbatore as a manufacturing city.
In tamilnadu he participated in exibition on Chennai...but sadly not even one item is not selected and patterns...so he broken all his invention in front of exibition hall....

For this, the detailed experimental procedure done by the inventor should be noted in writing in his Lab Note from time to time.. Avoidable errors AND committed errors should be noted in that Lab Note Book, which, if requied, should be presented for Patenting. If the ...same result.. is obtained by another different Lab Procedure, it forms a different Patent. Mr.Ramar Pillai(Herbal Petrol) failed in his attempts on REPEATABILITY and others could not REPEAT the procedure to get the results. He said that when he and his wife did things at home PETROL was obtained but when performed before a knowledgeable gathering, nothing came out. Mr.Ramar Pillai even now can take a Partner in that field, in his efforts, and both can become co-inventors and share the profits. Whereas, Shri G.D.Naidu knew what was Patenting and the Procedures because of his German Patent. Even our so-called Scientists(it is a Pay Commision designation of the posts they work), in the Scientific Departments like Atomic, Space, CSIR, DRDO, Etc do very very very little inventions. They work for monthly salary and not for inventions. We are 40 years behind.

It is us, the Thamizar who recognized and adored him till this date! Our whole population was benefited by his inventions and technologies. We honored him by instituting The Great Agricultural University in Coimbatore itself right in his living days. The Thamizh Naadu Government offered him the market share under its control for many of his products and technologies. Please study before writing. Many underrated scientists who were concentrating in a single field were honored with "Padhma Sree", "Padhma Booshan", "Bharatha Rathnaa" etc for their single invention. Solely because these men belonged to the above ethnic population. And he refused to compromise on quality and price when the same group persuaded him to obey their recommendations. Our GD Naidu excelled in hundreds of fields effortlessly all thru his life.
