These are awesome! The Neo Tokyo variant across ALL Namica watches is probably going to be their flagship color...sort of their legacy! I had legibility issues with the Kurayami I reviewed too, but some people WANT that stealthiness. Like you said, add the black DLC to the case and it's lights out!

They are one of the few that understand the dial perfection, logo on top and simple text on bottom without useless information. If all microbrands did this i would run out of money instantly.
I managed to get my hands on one of the last Namica Shirahama Neo Tokyo in silver available just before Christmas, mine came from Tokyo directly from Charlie; who is a true gent! Wish I could get the blue too, perfect for summer's day watch. I saw the watch on this channel and wanted it ever since

I have the Neo Tokyo Shirahama and absolutely love the dial. I feel this DLC Neo Tokyo Okami will be a very welcome addition to my collection and I fully expect it to be a regularly worn watch. The weakest part of the Shirahama package was the bracelet so having the fkm strap as standard is a good move in my book. Extremely excited for this one to launch in a couple days

You had me until you said Miyota.... For that price nope....I'd rather have it dare I say......... A Quartz movement. I think that would suit this "retro futuristic" better as a theme and as the heart of this piece. But no doubt this will sell out and I wont be disappointed that I missed out.
High beat quartz with exhibition case back made of shaded or coloured glass would be mint.

The styling seems to be grabbing cues from a classic G-Shock and partly by Seiko Samurai which are great Japanese design inspirations!

I don't think I'd buy this but kudos to this brand for making a design that's 100% their own and not the million and first dive watch to ever exist.
You have to have a pretty serious set of specs or design for me to even consider a time only watch. With no complications, no bezel, there has to be something special to justify purchase.

The case profile reminds me of a Casio W-217H a bit. Even if that’s digital, I’ll stick with that. Much more affordable.
Well, two watches in and I guess Namica aren't for me. But I'm glad they're out there making something different and unique! Hopefully it will inspire more creative microbrands!

Interesting looking watch. It's not for me but I am happy to see so many watches being made of Titanium. It's always been my favorite watch material.
It needs to be 4mm smaller, and in my opinion stainless steel on a leather strap
It looks really nice, especially the purple dial! It does look a lot like that "Casioak" that Timex tried to make though.
The hand set brushing looks like it was achieved dragging it over some blacktop.

Should be 20mm, this watch is over lugged. Colours nice.
Turbo blue looks siiiick
People complain in general about deep or large rehauts. Although it’s angled and the indices are set into the rehaut, it is very wide and mostly blank plastic. Also shrinks the dial quite a bit.
I kind of wish they’d just made this into a chapter ring with the minute track markers on the diagonal ring. The 12 triangle is already printed on it, so why not the other minute markers? Then they could be in-line with the indented indices. Seems like a missed design opportunity.

'This' is how a manufacturer does a dial correctly. Keep the printing minimal, leave the date complication out, and let the dial and hands shine. I am so getting one of the purple dial variants.

My resolution this year is to buy less watches but more quality ones. Videos like these are about to throw my resolution (and possibly my marriage) out the window. This watch is awesome. No wonder 1500 lined up for it. Thanks for showing it to us.
I'm a traditionally minded man. We like to have a few watches for fun I believe so this one is nice but I have a Citizen Black Panther concept and black and purple are already in that watch and I'm not one to repeat themes at all.

Is anyone else sick of the Kickstarter business model for every watch release? "Check out this new release! It looks good but this prototype has several major issues the manufacturer has promised will be totally sorted out by the time they get around to making them. Probably. Can't promise anything because production units don't yet exist. Cross your fingers and you just might have a new watch that looks similar to this in 3-36 months!" I dunno. Maybe it's just me.

I feel like the triangle mark on the rehaut looks out of place. Just the huge blank rehaut in general to be honest. Maybe if they would have put the minutes markers there?

This is not for me and regrettably also just s little bit big. That said, it's done incredibly well and the Tokyo Neo vertical brush is just a dial voppur operating on a level all it's own. I think that actually plenty of mature watch lover will also see the appeal in this. It is certainly very fresh and a little edgy. The price seems quite palatable for the specs on offer and just the sheer uniqueness of it. I kind of wished it was more appealing to me, but I'm as always also glad when I don't feel the need to add to my rather long shortlist. I'd be very interested in trying this once, if I could.
Looks like a g-shock square but automatic. Looks really cool and dont know why casio hasnt made something like this. But this one really looks good.

I must say I liked the Shwama but this is.........a challenging design.......interesting to note the back is interesting too. I do like that strap. Apparently im Mature and sensible tho, nice!
This watch's case reminds me of a cross between a G-Shock Square and a G-Shock Casioak... I'd like to see a rubber G-Shock-style analog watch, but with an analog movement, as a sort of fun, joke watch.

This definitely calls back to a lot of odd shaped seiko 5s from a long time ago, they had odd polygon and tv shaped cased watches

The previous Neo Tokyo caught my eye and I was quite happy with it (except the bracelet, too sharp) despite the significant delay in the delivery of the watch. This one doesn't do it for me though. Just as well as Zelos seems to have a direct line to my bank account lately.

Possibly a question that has an answer stating me in the face, but how does this work? Are we going through Kickstarter when the clock reaches 0 (2200 Tokyo time tomorrow)? Or the website? I keep seeing stuff about different packages on the main site but there’s no info on the Kickstarter, at least on my end.
