The oval shaped Y pipe coming from the intercooler to the throttle body didn't have a bead on it so the clamps kept slipping under boost (and blew off when the throttle body shut). Welded a bead on the pipe and problem solved!
how about some specs on the motor. bore...stroke...rocker ratio..cam profile. static compression..hydraulic roller lifters i assume. what problems were their to get to this point even the simple stuff like fuel pump upgrades and whatnot. have you thought about water/meth to get some more power without flirting with detonation?

So what exactly do you find to be an "attractive" car? As for the replacement front fascia, I agree it's not as nice looking as stock but a TT Viper has both power and drivability that most other cars don't besides a fully built GTR or Lambo costing 2-3 times as much for similar performance.

the transmission in the the snake is it a auto manual shift like performace racing tranny can u expain the g force tranny I just started taking transmission in school now in tech college and I was curious from a different perspective, fyi im in school for AST @ tooblueracing
The trans. in the car right now is standard shift pattern TR6060/6 speed. The trans was built using stronger parts and modified gear ratios at G-Force Race Transmissions

you will need a complete motor teardown... forged pistons, steel welded crank, fuel goodies a ton of stuff. a stock motor can handle about 8 pounds of boost
Why have a tune that peeks power at 4500rpm ! The viper is very powerful in standard form from 4000rpm , never mind a ridiculous vertical power and taper or flat power to redline ......looks like a diesel Dyno chart
It's definitely not a DD... With the Motec handling/managing the power to the ground, I rarely exceed 4500 RPMs to handle most street cars. I did take it to about 5500 or so RPMs to handle a mod'd 'busa. (In "Mexico", of course)

The Motec ECU makes this car very easy to drive. It drives like a stock Viper up to 3000 RPMs.

The smoke is due to a loose dipstick tube. It was fixed and the smoke is no longer an issue
