DOUGLAS LAKE: Shallow Water FALL Bass Fishing

- Todays’s video takes place on Douglas lake in East Tennessee in Mid November. Fall bass fishing is in full swing during this time and schools of baitfish and bass have flocked to the creeks, pockets, and flats spread across Douglas lake. Bass can often be scattered this time of year so covering as much water as possible as efficiently as possible can make all the difference during a day on the water in the fall.

RIP headphone users at :25 seconds in!! Great video, Ryan! thanks for taking us along
Love fishing there
Awesome video !! No pattern that’s my go to. Thanks for teaching another lesson!
No problem bud, thanks for watching.
Bout time to start droppin on them. After this cold spell them Cherokee smallies will be moving in the holes. Started catching some on the tightline this past week and dropped on a few, they'd swim up on it and drop back down. Need 55 degree water. Great video!
Thanks bud and yeah I love droppin on those smallmouth, its gona be a great winter.
I see they already drew the lake down ! 😎
yeah, its been dropping
They’ve dropped it 10 feet in 2 weeks
I just moved here from Washington state. Any tips on where to find fish I dont have a boat. Any good shore access? I'm in morristown
I haven’t done any bank fishing in a long time so I really don’t know of many places, sorry bud.
I fish on Douglas as well do you think you can tell me where you where fishing at
Man me and Jordan fished there last Saturday .Saw all kinds breaking in coves .For some reason they wasnt on lipless cranks for us that day mostly on mid depth crankbaits for us.Great video as always Ryan.
Thanks man, glad yall caught em.
Great video as usual Ryan! Good info on the baits. I've never tried the Strike King Red Eye Shad 1/4 once. I'm going to give it a try. Question.....where did you get that HUK Hoodie? I can't find one like that anywhere. Keep up the great work!
I appreciate that man and i’m not sure about the hoodie, i got it as a Christmas gift so not sure where it came from.
I never fish this time of year but do you find yourself focusing on or catching more in shaded or sunny areas or does that even matter? Thanks for all the great content.
When this video was shot in the fall at that time when the bait is just roaming everywhere i think shade lines are much less of a factor and then when you throw stained water into the mix I think it makes it even more irrelevant so basically the clearer the water the more I think about shade.
Fished a tourney there today, had 15.8
sounds like a good day
Don't tell him about the pro series! 😭 The series 5 and series 3 and series 6 from strike King are three of my favorite crankbaits and you're right not a lot of people throw them everyone's hung up on the XD version. got to quit letting the cat out the bag LOL
