I bought the ZS 10 Pro and i still can´t believe how good this IEMs sound compared to lots of other IEMs in a higher price range! This is absolutely stunning! I wouldn´t even consider to go for any other brand at the moment..KZ rocks!
I recently got zs10 pro x and I am so pleased with how much I like them. I thought I was gonna go down a huge rabbit hole and get hundreds but I like these a lot. I got a upgrade cable I will prbly get a few more as I feel the cables will be more susceptible to the abuse I put my tech thru but the iems themselves are great. I will get a better dac one day as mine is pretty cheap but the kzs are my everyday IEMS.
The “ZS10” and “ZSX” are like tongue twisters when said next to each other 😂 I had to rewind a few times to figure out which u were talking about. Thanks for the review!
Hahah. yeah. they're a bit of a mouthful. Nice to see you here man! Wasn't quite willing to splurge on the Fiio M11 so ordered the M5 instead after checking out your review. 😂
Alex Hong man, the M5 goes EVERYWHERE with me while the M11 pretty much stays at home. I think I get more mileage out of the M5 frankly! 😅 oh and thanks 🙏🏼 for checking out my M11 review. SG techtuber reprezent ✊!
I'm liking the music choices. keep it up! I have a ZS10 pro currently and at the time i thought it was already sounding awesome. I'm definitely gonna check this one out.
Yes try the ZSX it's considerably better than the ZS10 PRO even though some inexperienced people will say otherwise.... don't listen to them. I have iems from $15 to $2500 and yes the ZSX is indeed better than the ZS10 PRO which has a treble that is steely and timbre thats unnatural. Having sets that are in the $2500 range to compare them to makes this fatal flaw glaringly obvious. BLON is also an amazing performer once you swap the cable and get a good fit with the proper tips.
Just want to post another quick update in case my conclusion sounded a bit unfavourable towards the ZSX. It's not. I think it sounds really good. It's just that the 8-9 kHz peak is like my weak spot, so with no EQ, it's more fatiguing to me compared to the Tin T2. But in terms of details retrieval, the overall presentation of the sound (I do like a bit of bass, and I like a bit of sparkle at the top end), I like the ZSX more. The ZSX is great at most genres, and really shines for me in more complex/busy tracks with lots of things going on. But to use them without fatigue, I need to EQ and tone the 8-9 kHz a little, which is something that I don't think regular consumers would do, and something I can't do when reviewing them. So yeah, just want to make that clear. I love using them, but if you're as sensitive to that 8-9kHz peak as I am, you have to be willing to EQ them. And once you do, they're awesome for the price. Peace ✌️
I loved the T2 too. For me 'flat, boring sound' is non-fatiguing. But it does also have a lil 8k peak, slightly harsh for female vocal tracks or jpop. Ofc foam tips can help to tame the treble a bit, but it also affects the upper mids. Have you tried the t3/t4 before? I heard that the treble isn't that peaky.
@@juniperl1336 indeed. for the the T2 is a pair that I have to use with foam. I've come to realised that I do have a slight preference for a bit more upper mids too. I've not tried the T3 and T4 though. Have heard good things about the 4. The new T2 Plus looks promising too actually. 😂
@@axhng Oh yes the t2 plus. I actually sold my t2 away on carou some time ago and kinda regret doing so but I had issues with the fit; there's this edge on the t2 that hurts my ears. So glad that the t2 plus has better ergonomics, I might just get one of those haha. Anw just curious, what is that music player app you used on your samsung phone in this vid?
@@juniperl1336 In the end i didn't stick with the T2 as well as I'm not a fan of using foam and was looking for a bit more "fun" sounding pair. heh. not sure if you've seen Super Review's review of the Tin T2 Plus, but he seems to think that it's basically a better version of the BL-03 with clearer lower mids, which was basically my main issue with the BL-03, so those could be promising. haha. But in the end i might not get that too since I'm probably not going to be using it much. Nowadays I'm using earbuds at home most of the time. The music player is poweramp music player. For me I'm kinda used to the interface, it plays well with ALAC files, and I can export all my settings/eq whenever I switch devices which is pretty handy. 😂
I like the zsx sounds, but I don't know man, I love the shape of zs10 pro. zs10 pro currently have 6 colors option. I don't think kz ever done this before
yeah. the ZS10 pro design is kinda nice, and it's a little smaller and lighter, and has that new blue colour which looks great! haha. But sound wise I would still go for ZSX, especially since the price difference isn't really that big.
Great review Mr. Hang! Synthetic and to-the-point, also really honest analysis. I have a question, I really liked the T2 dimensions, it looks like a really tiny IEM budget alternative. Is there any other option with this little size (zs10 and zsx are too much bigger), like the tinhifi, but with more bass emphasys? Cheers.
Thanks! hmm. I haven't been trying new IEMs in a while now so can't say for sure, but in terms of similar dimensions... i think the TRN TA1 Max could be an option? I haven't heard it myself, but reviews seems promising. www.head-fi.org/showcase/trn-ta1-max-universal-in-ear-monitor.25854/reviews
Sounds like the sound of zsx is what I will prefer. I should have found out your video earlier... as I just ordered the zs10p and chosen the cable with mic...
I think the difference probably isn't massive though, and a bit of EQ will probably make them sound similar. The cable can be found pretty cheaply these days too if you don't like KZ's copper cable. :)
Excellent review! Sometimes a short review with clear opinion is better than a very long review which causes fatigue like some earphones :) I missed only one info, what was your music source and source device?
Thanks! I tested them with a mix of lossy (aac, mp3) and loseless (ALAC) music. You can probably guessed already I'm using MacOS and managing music through iTunes, and I have music purchased from iTunes and use iphones sometimes. haha. Source device for this device is the NoteFE (a.k.a Note7, the Exynos version) with poweramp.
@@axhng Just an advice from an audio blogger: i-devices are not among the best sounding music players. Android owners can enjoy for example the LDAC wireless codec which provides excellent music quality wirelessly with Bluetooth players like Hiby W5 or from autumn this year Fiio BTR5. Listening music from TIDAL using these wireless players, or an Audioquest Dragonfly Cobalt gives you considerably better sound quality than using AAC from an Apple device. Actually it is a shame considering that Steve Jobs was a great fan of music...
@@revandras Yeah, for wired audio, not really going to test them on the iPhone. For the note FE, at least it still sounds somewhat decent. Not quite the old wolfson from the S6 days, but i've read it was co-developed by them. I would have kept my LG V30 for the ESS Sabre, but I'm not a fan of the software on the phone. But well, for now I don't have any gear that could really fully utilise something like the Dragonflys yet, so will KIV that first. 😂 But if i do decide to proceed to the next level of this bottomless pit (or never ending stairway to heaven, depending on how you view it), I'll have invest in those gear for sure. haha. Huge thanks for the advice and recommendations!!
Hello Alex, thank you for this video, now would you recommend today the ZSX again? I want to buy now ZSX or something other iem in the Same price region.. I only need it for gaming (shooter, footsteps sound are important) thank you
😂 I’m probably not the best person to ask since I don’t really play games that would require paying attention to footsteps and the direction they’re coming from, but my guess is that they should be ok? The imaging and detail retrieval on these are quite decent. So should be able to pick up those sounds.
it's been a while since i've compared the 2, but i'm pretty sure they're identical in terms of bass. it's most likely the same exact driver too. 😂 EDIT: Doing a quick lookup at crinacle's graphs shows the same too. crinacle.com/graphs/iems/graphtool/?share=ZSX,ZS10_Pro
ZSN Pro X vs ZS10 Pro vs CRN ZEX Pro. Please? I am really torn between them I liked the details and bass of ZSN Pro X, but sometimes there's a little too much screeching in the Highs, still they're definitely great but I need to buy the best one.
Sorry for the late reply. RUclips don't always notify comments somehow. hmm. Personally I like the zex pro best because it's more natural sounding in the mid range to me especially, but it has less treble energy overall, and probably less upper mids too, so even though they do have okay details, the perceived clarity might not be there if you're used to zsn pro x. I've heard great things about the cca CRA actually and a number of folks liking it more than even the zex pro, and it's cheaper too so that could be worth a try too actually.
I agree with you Alex..The ZXS is very nice and the sound quality is amazing..ofcourse you have to burn in for 50hours,change the cabel with jcally 8core,spinfit cp 145..perfect..trust me..
@@christopherchay7593 I meant that was what I heard from online youtubers review videos the upgraded cable resolves the tangle issue. I am going to try it for myself if that is true. Currently, I am still awaiting my ZSX shipment to arrive along with the upgraded cable
haha. i know right. I have some stuff i bought on aliexpress from a month ago, and still not here yet. but mine is probably lost mail or something, so hopefully yours will reach you soon! 👍
@@axhng Thanks! Don't lose hope - I've heard of it taking a couple months sometimes. The few times I've ordered from China in the past, it comes in 1-2 weeks. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
actually most earphones are decent for movies. just that unlike bigger headphones, you won't get a wide soundstage that will sound nicer with movies. BUt it's still pretty good though. For me i didn't notice too much sound quality decrease. Just a bit less dynamic sounding, but that's the same for other IEMs when using bluetooth cable or adapters too. I have heard some folks mentioning this cable has a bit of noise that is audible in between tracks when nothing is playing, but I'm not very sensitive to those noises so didn't really notice it much.
@@axhng Would you prefer the ZSX for movies or the ZS10 pro? I'm actually solely looking for the best headphone for a movie experience under 60 dollers.
@@syedraidarsalan4685 to me they are both kinda similar for movies though. So i'll probably still go with ZSX overall just because it's a bit better for music to me, and the shiny finishing on the ZS10 Pro actually scratches really easily. You could consider the KZ ZAX too actually. I haven't tried that, but have heard good things about it. it's much newer too. Seems like it has wider soundstage than even the ZSX. Just that bass seems a little lower.
I just bought the KZ Z10 pro... Am I missing out on something by not seeing these ones and getting these? I use it with my pc and my galaxy s8. I have no DAC or anything and if I get one it'll be one of those that connect through usb-c as both my pc and phone have usb-c.
don't think you'll be missing much. the different isn't really that big, and definitely not big enough to be worth spending almost the same amount of money again for it. A lot of the USB-C to 3.5mm DAC are actually pretty good these days, even the cheaper ones. and should be more than enough to power IEMs already. :)
I've not tried the zsn pro x, though I've heard that it's a bit brighter compared to the ZST X which was already a bit bright for my taste. At this point, I think the newer ZEX probably has more potential. So far the few reviews I've seen seems pretty positive. The drivers are pretty much the same as the ones in the CCA NRA and i thought those were pretty capable (and better than the ZST X too)
If you like how the zsn pro sound, this will probably be a nice upgrade. Though they do have newer models like the are well received by others like the ZAX and DQ6. I've not tried those unfortunately so can't say for sure, but the DQ6 seems promising too actually. But if you want something different from the zsn pro, you could consider other brands too like the TRN TA1 or BLON BL-03. Those are pretty good for their price and has a different type of tuning compared to the zsn pro and zsx.
I’d really like to see a comparison of the KZ ZSX and KZ AST 24. They are double the price, but are they double the performance? One has 5 BAs and 1 DD, the other 12 BAs with 1 BA used for low frequency. Very curious how well a low frequency BA compares to a DD.
I guess it might depends on preference. For me ZSX is better than zs10 pro for longer listening sessions, but can still be a bit fatiguing unless i EQ the highs down.
@@divyanshraghuwanshi457 yeah. They're pretty popular for western markets actually. Other options would be aliexpress too. Just that shipping might take a bit longer sometime.
It will be great if you can review KZ E10. This is a true wireless earbuds with the same drivers set-up with ZS10. Too bad it only comes installed with standard aptX.
between zsx and zs10 pro, i prefer the zsx overall because the treble is a bit less intense for me and it's a bit smoother sounding. but actually both are still really good for general purpose use, or listening to music. 👍
@@amryassin1277 😂 i just happen to be on youtube. but can't go wrong with either of them. oh, and if you're planning on using them for longer duration, the less intense ZSX might work better too actually.
Hey man, i'm waiting your comment to put an order of it. Am i too late to buy KZ ZSX? Is there any better newer models? I will really be grateful if you give me your opinion.
hi there. For KZ, ZSX is still their latest model. So far it seems like they are doing more wireless stuff now, so probably not too late to get the ZSX. :)
I didn't think that you could answer that quickly, thanks a lot. I thought so, they are doing S2 on indiegogo right now as far as i can see. As another question, I have 40 usd price range, is ZSX is best for me?
@@tahatatilbal yeah. there is another one coming out soon which is Z1. most of their recent releases are TWS. Hmm, it depends on the type of sound you like I guess. If you want something a bit more smoother sounding, the Blon BL-03 is still a pretty decent option if you can get a good fit (most likely need to change tips or cable). The treble is less intense, it have more mid bass, tonality seems a bit more natural, so it's easier to listen to for long periods of time to me. But in terms of detail retrieval, the ZSX is better, and i think the fit is more hassle-free. Both are excellent value IMO
Actually I think the ZSX was a nice, small step forward? I don't really have that much experience with older KZs, but on the ZSN Pro and ZS10 Pro, the sound was a little harsher, a little metallic, a little artificial sounding. Once I got the Tin T2, those things really stood out to me. ZSX was better in those areas to me which is nice. But yeah, I think stuffing tons of drivers is just easier to market to them, but I hope they will focus more on tuning the sound and trying other new tech too..
@@axhng I agree it easier to market.. I think some other iem in similar price range with smaller number driver but more tuning have a better sound quality.. If KZ put the budget for those 2 drivers out of 5 driver into tuning or r&d they might have a better sound. KZ has a decent sound for their price IMO so I think their driver is not so bad.. Some company like sony have their TOTL IEM model only with 3 driver and that beat the lower model with 5 drivers.
Have you actually heard the ZSX. They actually sound amazing, and I generally don't like kz iems. They beat the Zs10 pro, CCA C12, Guideray GR-i and TFZ no 3 to my ears. They don't sound metallic and harsh like the Zs10 pro, but and they have no sibilance
@@zachjaybseazer94 Unfortunately not yet... Kz lineup seem like endless and I can't keep up with all those. I never said ZSX is bad.. but IMO Kz can do better if they spend more on tuning instead of number of driver since some Kz I ever like zs10 sound weird and too artificial on my ear
it always depends on whether you are happy with the ZSN Pro or not. If you want something better than the ZSN Pro, the ZSX is a pretty significant upgrade imo.
there are usb-c cables as well that can be found on sites like aliexpress or shopee. One that i saw recently is the JCALLY TC08. Though I think getting a usb-c to 3.5mm adapter might be better because at least you can use it with other 3.5mm earphones as well.
personally, i think both are okay. I don't use take much calls on my phone, so I rather take the version without mic, save a bit of money. Also the volume is higher than on the version without mic. Sound quality wise, I don't think there is a noticeable difference in day to day use. :)
@@axhng In your video you have mentioned that the sound has a bit less detail when the ZSXs is used with the cable with microphone, could you please clarify? Thanks in advance!
@@jasonfoo660 yeah. i noticed a tiny bit of difference if I really listen closely to it. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it's like a very very tiny bit rougher sounding? But that is when listening critically in a quiet room, and testing them back to back. When I'm just using in day to day use, listening to music when commuting, or while working, it's not a difference that I notice. So yeah. if you need to make calls, i think the mic version works fine too. The softer volume isn't a huge deal too since these aren't hard to drive. Even with a phone it gets decently loud. But if you don't need to make calls at all, the one without mic would be my choice.
@@jasonfoo660 I've not tried the TFZ T2 though, only the S2 Pro. There is another channel that I follow that did a comparison of those actually. ruclips.net/video/ilw7eZtXDCs/видео.html I personally prefer the ZSX over the S2 Pro but from comparisons I've seen the T2 seems like it would suit my taste a bit more.
I'm curious how the sound isolation and fit are on these, as I've had a few KZ IEM's and ONLY the ZS3 has a good snug air tight fit, everything else seems to let in too much outside noise for my taste, also with an inferior fit some of the audio characteristics are lost. The ZS3 was and still is my favourite from KZ even if its sound isn't the best from KZ. So how's the fit with the ZSX?
@@jinwoooooooooo Tried those, but were not a good fit. It's not the problem with the tips, it's that air flows through the earphone shell, as in they're externally vented (letting air in/out and also external noise in. The ZS3 isn't vented so it gives it an air tight fit, blocking external noise MUCH better.
@@DanRC69 lol we share the same view about ZS3 as I also can't find any KZs IEM that can block external noise very well as ZS3 did. Foam tips? I don't want to torture my ear canals with irritation. Really hope any IEM companies use the ZS3 shell tho.
You mean when using the aptx-hd bluetooth cable with the ZSX? like music will be playing and then it would suddenly play that static TV noise? I had that issue too, but what phone are you using with it by the way? I encountered that issue when I used it with the Pixel 2XL running Android 10. But it was fine on the Galaxy Note FE on aptx. So not sure if it's android 10, aptx-hd, or the Pixel. Haven't really tried it with other phone since i don't like the cable, so gave it to my friend already.
@@Fujinhoang :) oh. but if you're using iphone x, it won't be using aptx-hd though. It'll be using aac? I've not tried that adapter with iOS though, so not sure if it happens on iOS with aac too.
for the bluetooth cable, can be found on aliexpress, shopee, or whichever online retailer is available where you live. the one i have is the KZ aptx hd cable, but there are other brands like TRN making cables like these as well. There are even adapters like the TRN BT20S that can make it truly wireless.
unfortunately have not tried the ZAS and it has been a long time since I heard the ZSX. I do have the CA16 Pro which is similar in tuning and drivers as the ZAS though. the only thing i can say more sure is that the CA16 Pro is more bassy. from what I can recall at least, i don't think it will be a huge upgrade between the two. 😂 looking at FR graph, both seems to have a somewhat typical KZ V shaped tuning. pw.squig.link/?share=KZ_ZAS,KZ_ZSXv2,CCA_CA16_Pro
Unfortunately i don't own the T2 Galaxy though, and don't really plan to get them. For now I've been using the Blon BL-03 and like them more than the S2 Pro.
@@axhng ah i see thanks brother TFZ T2 are so highly rated by a few audiophile youtubers to be the $50 USD range king? so my main concern is how it fairs against KZ ZSX since their prices are similar on lazada for 55SGD and ive already phased TINhifi out from my choices because i dont really like how emtpy the bass feels.
@@jinwoooooooooo No problem. sadly I never had the chance to try that. But maybe you can try zpolt's review if you haven't seen it already. I think he compared it with the Galaxy T2. For TFZ, i've only tried the S2 Pro, which I wasn't really a huge fan of. I'm using the Blon BL-03 now and I like it more then the S2 pro and ZSX, and it's cheaper too at under 40SGD. It's highly regarded by a bunch of reviewers as well, and I think it lives up to the hype actually.
@@axhng if im not wrong, zpolt has a review of BLON bl-03 and he said its a somewhat toned down version of tfz t2. Also another question, which chinese IEMS that you own has the best wires ?
@@jinwoooooooooo it would probably depend on preference ultimately? I went to rewatch the video he did to refresh my memory and he mentions the T2 being more warm and having more recessed mids vs the Blon. I already felt like the S2 Pro was also kinda like that, and didn't really enjoy that. haha. So I already know it's kinda not my cup of tea. To me the mids on the Blon is just enough for me, any more recessed I probably won't like it. 😂 Best is if you can find a way to try them? if not if you have used something that he has reviewed, maybe you can see if your taste is similar to his? I haven't really tested much, but the TFZ S2 Pro's cable is not bad. Not as easily tangled and doesn't retain shape after coiling it up. haha
attention you have to burn in these headphones! ideally with the 1more assistant app from shen zhen acoustic. i used the headphones without burn in, i had severe ear pain. i believe that there were nano aluminum metal and plastic remains, which the bass then pushed into the ear. now after 4 hours burn in they sound great!
i don't hear any static or hiss on mine actually. Not sure if the source matters, but I'm mostly using my phone to listen to it. But if it bothers you, it's better to just return it if you can.
I've watched the video 3 times to make sure.... You didn't compare the bass of the two IEMs haha, just talk about the slightly boosted bass on the ZSX. How would you describe the bass of the ZS10 Pro comparing to the ZSX?? Thanks and congratulations for the video, really helpful to me!!
Oh. Sorry. Must have missed it. But bass wise they sound very similar actually. Both are slightly elevated, but not to like bass heads level of bass. They're both tight sounding and doesn't sound too bloated. 😅
you can make any iem with a replacable cable wireless, there are these bluetooth things which you can put into the "cable port".although i'd recommend you to stick to using cables since it's much more pratical
Are those Acoustune tips on the T2? Planned on buying them but I ordered the Final Audio E-type tips instead, still waiting on them and wondering how do they sound compared to the stock foam/silicone tips
They're just regular cheap foam tips from a brand called Anjirui? Got them on a local shopping site for cheap during a sale. they're on aliexpress as well. The feel of the foam tips are very similar to the stock ones actually, which i kinda like, with a slightly sticky feel to them. But it's about 1 mm taller, and I got the medium ones since which is a bit slimmer than the stock ones, so it's easier to insert for me. Sound wise, similar to the stock foam tips to me. or maybe I just couldn't hear the difference. 😂 But i prefer it over the silicone tips since it helps the bass sound a little fuller, and the trebles a little less bright. I'm quite treble sensitive unfortunately so the foam tips works out great for me. haha
if you have like a thrift store near you, they normally sell used CDs at super cheap prices. In my case in Singapore, it's a store called Cash Converters.
i don't really play pubg much butmy guess is that it is. it's quite good when it comes to detail retrieval and imagine is pretty decent too. so it should be be able to let you hear footsteps or the direction where sound is coming from.
To be honest I found these earphones to be awful. The Bass is hit and miss if you listening to dance music or more electronic music it’s ok and I say that as it was average when I was playing The prodigy “Fat of the Land” the highs can get a bit to bright and the miss just kind of blend. The best thing about them is how comfortable they are.
I agree, one of the worst iem's/earbuds I've ever tried, the treble is really grainy and metallic (other than on well produced songs) the mids are too far behind with thin male vocals (guitars sound okay but still I find them too recessed for my taste and the timbre is off) and the bass is as you mentioned a hit or miss, some tracks it sounds okay but on others they sound so muddy and wooly if that makes sense like it's not punchy or even boomy it's like a mooshy mess, please don't buy this if youre planning to listen to music,I think this would be better suited for musicians who need a multi driver iem for cheap but this isn't really for enjoying music
i've not tried the ZST though, but the ZSX is the sounds nicer to me compared to the ZSN Pro and ZS10 Pro. It has a bit less of that metallic sounding treble, and overall it sounded a bit more balanced in terms of how it presents the bass, mids, and highs.
some cables are less tangle prone though, especially those that are a bit stiffer/thicker or has a tighter braid. But anyway, i think with the newer models like ZAX/DQ6 they did finally change the cable to something a little nicer! :D
Thanks for the review, it is probably useful for an amateur but for anyone who knows little bit more about the sound there is no sense in a review without frequency curve measurement, as your subjective perception of the sound can mean anything really.
Indeed! Since I'm still a bit of a newbie when it comes to audio gear, and I don't have the equipment to measure them myself, it's pretty much just a review from my own perspective (more like a regular consumer rather than an audiophile), and also why it's more like a comparison between the two IEMs to see which one I personally feel is better. 😂 But unless someone has tried the ZS10 Pro, it will probably be a bit hard to judge where the ZSX stands without a graph. When i did this review, IIRC crinacle hasn't measured the ZSX, yet, but I think he got around to doing so already. But I think most KZ/ChiFi fans have probably moved on to the ZAX already at this point in time 😂
I think Alex is doing a good job here to sound as general and most RUclips viewers have wider general target crowd. Despite watching almost 50-100 IEM videos from all over the world. Alex’s message is direct and straight forward. Well done keep its up :) By the way, I am using KZ DQ6 and have a Tin T2 and looking forward to get a KZ 10 Pro.
@@DarenLee The fact stays, without numbers and measurements your can say whatever you like, it is meaningless. As for ZS10 Pro, I have them and not very happy with the sound. I am using EQ and some physical stuff to make them sound correctly, not sure why they release them with such easily corrected flaws. What is more important, not even one RUclips reviewer mentioned this, because they know nothing about sound and acoustics. This is why anyone's subjective opinion is meaningless, the same goes to their words they use to describe the sounds.
It's still quite good with mic though. And you have the convenience of being able to take calls on it. But anyway if you want a replacement cable it's pretty cheap actually. 😂

@@Assimilator702 Definitely but than we just order a pair ... 😉👌
@@Assimilator702 wow, now i can't decide blon or zsx

Cheers.

What is the app you are using for songs?
hi there, it's poweramp music player.
@@axhng Just an advice from an audio blogger:
i-devices are not among the best sounding music players.

Is this headphone good for watching movies? How much did the sound quality decrease when you switched to Bluetooth wiring?
actually most earphones are decent for movies. just that unlike bigger headphones, you won't get a wide soundstage that will sound nicer with movies.
What do you think about KZ ZSN PRO X ?
I've not tried the zsn pro x, though I've heard that it's a bit brighter compared to the ZST X which was already a bit bright for my taste. At this point, I think the newer ZEX probably has more potential. So far the few reviews I've seen seems pretty positive. The drivers are pretty much the same as the ones in the CCA NRA and i thought those were pretty capable (and better than the ZST X too)
I am new to audiophile equipment, so shoyld i consider upgrading to these, after my zen pros?
If you like how the zsn pro sound, this will probably be a nice upgrade. Though they do have newer models like the are well received by others like the ZAX and DQ6. I've not tried those unfortunately so can't say for sure, but the DQ6 seems promising too actually. But if you want something different from the zsn pro, you could consider other brands too like the TRN TA1 or BLON BL-03. Those are pretty good for their price and has a different type of tuning compared to the zsn pro and zsx.
@@axhng thank you fo the advice. I will do my research on the recomandations

can you advice what type of pin for bluetooth should i buy for zsx?
if you're talking about the KZ aptx bluetooth cable, it's using the same connector as the ZSN Pro, ZS10 Pro. They call it a C Pin i think.

There is a new IEM named " TRN VX " which is 6 BA and 1 DD......
I hope kz will spend more on tuning sound or research new tech instead of keep putting more and more drivers..
They don't sound metallic and harsh like the Zs10 pro, but and they have no sibilance

they should just buy out any sound mixing setting and set it to that.

I'm quite treble sensitive unfortunately so the foam tips works out great for me. haha
Is it waterproof?
it's not. it'll probably be fine with a bit of sweat and rain, but i wouldn't submerge it in water since there are vents on it for the drivers inside.
From which website are you downloading ALAC files
if you have like a thrift store near you, they normally sell used CDs at super cheap prices. In my case in Singapore, it's a store called Cash Converters.
@@axhng If not available, is there any alternative to download from any website, maybe for free of cost
Sai Dileep Kumar Seera nope your going to have to buy it
KZ zsn pro sounds really good, dont buy upgrade cable for these I did and was disappointed with sound.
Just use the stock cable ?
is that a Note 7? o.O
sort of. it's the Note FE, which is basically the Note7 but with a smaller, and safer battery. hahaha
@@axhng My mother used to own it as well but she recently need an upgrade since she said she needs more memory for her work
suitable or not play pubg mobile ?
i don't really play pubg much butmy guess is that it is. it's quite good when it comes to detail retrieval and imagine is pretty decent too. so it should be be able to let you hear footsteps or the direction where sound is coming from.
Alex Hong yaa i need hear footstep enemy very clearly .. you say its quite good . i buy later 🤣
@@sayurunethsilu so what are the other option for a normal music listening in kz?
😊👍 thanks
Lemon I love that song🤣🤣
zsx, is like a more laidback version of zs10 pro, but a lot less comfortable.
which of these has the good even better Zsn pro? zs10 pro? zst?
i've not tried the ZST though, but the ZSX is the sounds nicer to me compared to the ZSN Pro and ZS10 Pro. It has a bit less of that metallic sounding treble, and overall it sounded a bit more balanced in terms of how it presents the bass, mids, and highs.
Kz zsx is great for war gaming like company of heroes. But is is not an iem for music at all.
Definitely better than 10pro.
Zeta s x?
The tips suck that is true but all cable's tangle!
some cables are less tangle prone though, especially those that are a bit stiffer/thicker or has a tighter braid. But anyway, i think with the newer models like ZAX/DQ6 they did finally change the cable to something a little nicer! :D
@@axhng what I mean is all cable's get in a bunch and I never had a problem with all of them. KZ cables are all good, the tips are the problem.
zutomayo :)
Well done keep its up :)
By the way, I am using KZ DQ6 and have a Tin T2 and looking forward to get a KZ 10 Pro.
Maaaaaan I bought the one with mic why 😭😭
It's still quite good with mic though. And you have the convenience of being able to take calls on it. But anyway if you want a replacement cable it's pretty cheap actually. 😂
It's OK it deserves a better cable the Yinyoo 16 core is nice with ZSX. When they're on sale they're $13. Now they're $26.
Joe Rico hey man just got my ZSX should I get the yinyoo 16 cable in copper or silver ?
kz products are amazing but never tried one lmao
haha. yeah. they're decent value for money, and a good starting point if you want to dip your toes into audio stuff. There are a ton of other Chinese brands as well that are producing tons of amazing stuff at dirt cheap prices too. haha. But it's a more niche market for sure. I think most people are just listening to music on their phones, and these days a lot of folks are moving to wireless earbuds already. 😂
@@axhng tbh i prefer earbuds over in-ear monitors, they both fit in my ear but earbuds are the most comfy, my favorite is vido, you can get it for only $2, best cheap earbuds hand down
@@goodnightmoon haha. i have the Vido actually, and they're insanely good for just $2. haha. but for me I like a bit of isolation when travelling around in buses and what not, so Vido doesn't work as well for me outdoors.
LMAOO. same here, I told them i have so much respect for this Brand but i've never tried it. i I recently ordered KZZS10Pro and should arrive on the 13th July. Can't wait!!!!!
Hope this is not overhyped. btw, im currently using PHILIPS SHE8500.
