end of the world they're living in, a new sun will rise when the battle is over, the surviving mortals will come out of their hiding place, and the surviving gods including Odin's son Vidar (who I'm sure is the one who will avenge his father and kill Fenrir) and Thors sons Magni and Modi (who will get Thors hammer and his powers) will meet with Odin's deceased sons Baldur and Hodr, who died from Loki's actions years ago but will now be released from Helheim (where they were sent because they had not died in battle and were made honoured guests of Loki's daughter and Helheims ruler Hel) as now all living things will weep for Baldur and they will rule together in a new pantheon over this new world.
The Fenris Wolf and the Jormungandr serpent are also Loki's children from his affair with a giantess. His children with his wife were killed and their entrails were used to bind him after he caused the death of Baldur and Hodr, Loki himself will break free during Ragnarok and will fight against the gods and will himself be killed by Heimdall whom he will also kill.

    • @lettuceman9439

Would be very terrible given that Christianity also have their own version of the apocalypse (Which is frankly more metal than Ragnarok itself ) and joyous belief in it as the "Second Coming of Christ" depicted in the Book of Revelations. The songs When the fire comes down from Heaven or Soldier, poet, King will give you the vibe why Christianity is often described by those outside of it as a doomsday cult and some are given certain "Christian" cults are Doomsday Cults.
