Good stuff man. I never really listened to COC's slower stuff but I liked their early punk/crossover stuff. Might have to check out their entire discography. Nice channel btw, just subbed.
That's a sick guitar my dude. I love 339 and the Lucille models. I've noticed they use the same pickup neck and bridge so they don't suffer the dark nasal tone and in middle they make my fuzz face happy

COC is BADASS! I saw them first time back in 89, hung out with some of them backstage with Metallica in 91, and caught both of the last 2 tours. In The Arms of God was my favorite album of 2005.

I'm pretty sure Pepper uses the 335 in COC these days (post-reunion) but then again I saw Down and COC within a year of one another at the same club so I might be misremembering.

That guitar seems a weird choice for doom at first, but then again I remember seeing some band where one dude had a Sheraton with Duncan Invaders and the other guy had one of these with Dimarzios.
What are the settings here. I'm playing through a orange cr120. Been trying to capture their tone and cant get it there. My band plays in d standard as well
I can’t really recall. Was playing an Orange OR120 which sounds much different than a CR120. My guess would be FAC on setting 4, EQ pretty close to noon, gain around noon to 3 o’clock, MV at 3 o’clock.

Sounds so much different than what was on the Eye for an Eye album. That was always my favorite one. Liked their punk better than their metal.

If you listen to "EFAE" or even "Animosity" you can hear the Sabbath peaking out. I love their old punk albums too but I love their brand of unapologetic rock! Deliverance is definitely RIFF O.D.!

The TABS are the same as the lesson. Just something to make learning the songs a bit easier and to support all of the time and effort that goes into putting them together. The library is both massive and accurate, and the community is awesome. I guarantee it’s worth the $10 price of admission. 🤘🏻
