Thanks for consolidating all the training videos! The way Tom picks the 265kg so easily and loads the stones without any slip will give him an advantage in time if Tom and Thor lifts the same reps. Thor's stone loading always look more slippery. Hopefully Thor can sort out the issue

With that 600lbs stone only being 30lbs off the record, and that event being the last of day 1, I think it's very possible that Tom or Thor tries to load it and can't, which would make things VERY interesting.

@@amangulia4916Didn’t that exact thing happen to Tom last year? He tried the 200 KG log couldn’t get it and then didn’t have the energy to do any of the lighter logs.
I think it’ll be ok if the events were reversed that day then I’d say they would be more affected. Just me personally find atlas stones way more taxing than a deadlift. I think it’s a good finisher for them for the day. Heavy 1-2 reps 🤷🏼♂️

Obviously everybody goes for Tom1st Hafthor 2nd but that 230 kg stones who were loaded by Trey, so easy. I wonder how heavy he can go.
Tom looks more comfortable than thor but thor honestly looks a bit stronger. Still think tom can lift more, cant wait for compday:)

I think it might just be the new stones being slick. But it also might just be tacky issue.

That's the trap : you go too heavy and give everything, then go down but you have no energy left
