Phil Holloway & Dear Woke Christian…what a GREAT collaboration! We get Phil’s legal education and Dear Woke Christian asking all the questions fellow pre-K law students in the chat are asking. 🫡
I love listening to your take on things and I loved meeting dear woke Christian and will check out his channel!
With the prosecutorial and judicial misconduct, I don't see how these men can receive a fair trial, at this point.
…there is an odor of mendacity for sure 🫡
I think the judge is showing how screwed up the case is. She's going to let the DA's office hang themselves with their corruption and incompetence.
Then, she's justified in declaring a mistrial. In other words, she's building a case to justify a mistrial
I’ve heard this theory before. You may be right!
Love this dual perspective ❤
It was a great collaboration, wasn’t it! 🫡
Glad you like it!
The judge has a responsibility to juris prudence which reaches beyond the concerns of Fulton County.
I suspect Chief Judge Glanville lost sight of that.......................
I absolutely love both of your channels!
Thanks so much 😊
They’re both great in their own lanes and complement one another when they come together!
Great show guys!! Love the commentary!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Judge Paige seems to love the law, and enjoys investigating the aftermath, sorting through the wreckage that is this trial. Exposing first the blatant, undeniable incompetence and corrupt actions of the prosecution will ensure her an indelible declaration of mistrial. It should also effectively remove elements that have no place in an honorable and credible judicial system. I believe this YSL trial will be over the day the jury returns.
?? Why is Love not censured for lying to the Court about ´no more Ex Partes, judge.´ completely destroys the common man’s trust in the prosecution. I can’t handle this.
Thanks!
Thank you 🙏🏻!
Here is the thing that stands out to me - not only did the PROSECUTION know that there had been a prior ex parte communication with Judge Glanville, but JUDGE GLANVILLE knew there had been a prior ex parte communication. So, at that court appearance, Attorney Steel is freaking out because of the later ex parte that he just discovered, and the Judge was threatening to jail him if he didn’t tell about how he found out, etc. And, at that hearing, the JUDGE himself knew that he had held a PRIOR ex parte also. He should have disclosed the earlier ex parte at least once the defense counsel started to raise objection and file motions about the second ex parte. The Judge was acting like he was one of the prosecutors, instead of acting like an impartial jurist. Disgusting. Judge Glanville should be disciplined by the Bar and/or the body that has oversight over Judges.
Crazy part is Whittaker asked both party's if either party had another ex party meeting when they started court back up, and the prosecution said no again.
The DA’s office is incompetent and lacks basic lawyering skills. I don’t understand how there is not bar discipline for violation of rules of professional responsibility.
The jurors should know the truth of both exparte meetings and the reason why the judge was dismissed and prosecutors facing contempt and criminal charges. Disbarment should be eminent for all.
the prosecutors will be disbarred. This judge is exposing their culpability. then the trial will be terminated with prejudice
Lol nothing will happen. Its crooked. All of it.
That's what I was thinking. I'm a little surprised the judge is letting it go over the weekend, but I think she's laying the groundwork. ❤
Nothing will happen. They own the county
This is EXACTLY what I said the other day Phil!!
It only makes one wonder how many more improper meetings took place.
I've never used any cash apps...I'll see about becoming a member. Love you and your Guests. Phil...any comments on the Making a Murderer Netflix Documentary?? I think people would live your input. And your Guests as well.
I’ll have to check into that! Thanks for watching. All you have to do to join the channel is click on the join button. I hope you will consider it!
That new Judge tries to nicely reprimand Ms Love with her “take your duty of candor to the Court more seriously” comment. In response, Ms. Love says she does take her duty of candor very seriously. If I was a Judge, I would make sure that, if I reprimanded an attorney appearing before me, they would KNOW they had been reprimanded, and Ms. Love clearly did not understand that. If a Judge reprimands an attorney in the right way, the attorney sits down and keeps their mouth shut, and doesn’t backtalk.
Totally agree. If I were judge Whittaker I would not have allowed her to speak or comment. It is a clear rebuke and reprimand. Period.
Ms Love does not know when she should just shut her gap.
ARROGANCE! she knew and didn't care!
Right? That whole DA's office has a shocking disregard for the judges and the entire judicial system!😮 I was a little surprised this judge let that pass.
I sincerely hope that the Court is not considering any sort of “sunk cost analysis” in making its decisions about whether this case has been irretrievably broken. Justice can NEVER be a matter of what is most cost effective or expedient. Further, if this case was to get thrown out, and the Court and/or the prosecution ends up looking like they wasted taxpayer money because of it, that seems like a good thing to me. Maybe that would serve as a deterrent the next time a prosecutor, or a Judge, considers violating the ethics rules in the interests of achieving a desired result.
I wish someone would compile all of the motions chronologically with determinations so that we all can see how Granville has consistently ruled
Nice colab!
TEMPLE, TEXAS . . . An interesting conversation bouncing thoughts off of each other and including the courtroom chatter today.
Killeen, Texas Here 👋🏽
@jalanajohnson7822 AWESOME !!! I've just been curious to see if this state would do what's right. Someone died, and someone should be held accountable. However, these court proceedings are not constitutional, and laws and rights are being ignored. In the future, our rights might be forfeited as well.
@@paulatkins7009 I 100% agree with you! The party/parties responsible SHOULD be held accountable… and I feel this prosecutor office should be holding a murder trial with maybe a codefendant (if multiple parties were responsible). They wanted this high profile rapper attached to a rico case (imo). They (Fanni) wanted the attention/clout. But that added attention is now proving to be to their detriment. And 100% these prosecutors and judge have trampled all over these men’s rights - without question. Whether they’re guilty or not - they MUST follow the rules. And what’s more alarming is how nonchalant they were doing these improper/illegal actions… feels like they do this all the time. And that just can’t stand. But it’s looking like this judge is gonna allow it to stand. It’s a damn shame.
@jalanajohnson7822 yes , I agree !!
@@jalanajohnson7822 Texans always add value to the chat/comments 🫡
Were there even more ex parte meetings or emails between the prosecution and judge Glanville? Can their emails be searched to discover other inappropriate communications?
Inquiring minds want to know! The new judge should order an investigation!
💯💯💯@@InsideTheLaw
@brenda…Great question 🫡
At this point, it needs to be a mistral with prejudice. The state is just a clown show
I think all the Judges in the Superior court of Fulton county all operate basically the same. Neither judge wants to admit that there was something wrong with an ex-parte meeting because they all operate in the same general manner as Glanville. They are all cut from the same cloth.
Mendacity: Now that’s a word I haven’t heard much 😂
The problem with waiting for an appeal is that these defendants will be in jail, if convicted, for a long time before it can be overturned. And it will be overturned by the appellate court.
I subscribe to both channels and enjoy both sources of information. Which brings me to a question. When the former judge was charging the defense attorney about the ex parte meetings, he was specific in wanting to know the source of the information. "Who told you about what was said at the meeting?" was the frequent harangue from the bench. Was it ever resolved who was the source of the ex parte disclosures???
No, not entirely. Although I think I know. But I’m not ready to say publicly who I think it was
Richard…great to see you in the comments! Thanks for the engagement with both channels 🫡
The key issue for me: if there's no consequences for prosecutorial and judicial misconduct when the defendant can afford million dollar attorneys, what incentive would the state have to act ethically when prosecuting the rest of us?
Brian steel said that melnick has information on the ex parte mtg on the 10th that isn’t on the transcript where woody said I killed nut! And the judge setup straight and said WHAT! And glared at the DA’s table, and when Hilton tried to tell her well I won’t be here so we should just reschedule and the judge glared at her and said if I hear from melnick the 2 of you are off the case, get your substitution ready see you at 9 am Monday
Monday will be interesting! 💯
@@InsideTheLaw yes it will
Great Collaboration!!!!! You two are a great team....
" I'm so high right now " 😅 2024 witness of the year nominee
High off information
Woody & that High guy deserve to nominated for an Oscar
Goodbye Judge Suge Knight Granville !!!! Whitaker is not going to rule a mistrial. She's too interested in going up the ladder to the Supreme Court or the Circuit Courts
The odor of mendacity keeps getting stronger 🫡
I still think that the jury has already know which way they'll be voting. I think that the jury will find them NOT GUILTY!
Question**** Is there any possibility she is continuing without granting the mistrial because she wants to get as much as possible on record like taking the initiative to see how the request was made in the first place for the ex parte meeting as well as asking the court reporter to get a non official transcript ready which then got handed out to the defense. Could she be doing these things to make sure and get as much corruption out in the open and on record so theres no doubt or room for appeal. Also to get it all out in the open so that theres no way anyone can question her going against Judges in her own County?????????
Anything is possible! But I suspect the simplest answer is the correct one: she is likely to deny the mistrial and will try to plow ahead.
Question for next stream: Love lied and said they didn't have any other ex parte conversations. She kinda said we asked him for the Monday meeting on Friday but never said Hilton had the June 7 meeting. Can Love get busted by the judge for lying? At 38 min of the Fox5 Atlanta RUclips channel ruclips.net/user/live9E95bbM0jLA?feature=shared
Great question, I was wondering the same thing. I can't believe RUclips let you put a link in! 😂❤ I appreciate it. It's pretty clear what she didn't say. 😮
Im hoping against hope that the judge is bringing forth all of the muck while pretending she's going to be proceeding with the trial, and after everyone has been exposed, she'll declare a mistrial with prejudice. If she were to do it right away, and none of them mucky muck would be exposed. But I think that might be too much to hope for in this world. Glad to see that I'm not alone and now that I've scanned over the comments. She'll do it with that sweet voice lol. Let's pray and hope.
QUESTION: Considering the glacial pace at which Judge Glanville presided over this trial and left the defendants (who are presumed Innocent), languishing in the Fulton County jail for 2 years, I was surprised Judge Whitaker denied the bail motion(s). Do you think she did so because she plans to grant a mistrial?
No, I don’t think that’s it. I think she just didn’t want to revisit the issue of bond. I think she should have, but she didn’t
After the feed ended they had to start a new feed because they went back on the record. Steele told the Judge that he wanted to call Melnick on Monday and then Shardt informed her that he had just filed a motion for a fair trial and would email it into the court also. It was kinda spicy and Love was visually scared looking.
They only have 2 alternate jurors. I’m sure jurors watch the news and it pops up or social media and someone comments. I just can’t see how no juror heard nothing.
👍
As Henry Ford said ‘sunk costs are sunk’.
On not granting the motions for mistrial based on any matters involving Glanville, it can be easily explained by Whitaker not wanting to spend all her future political capitol on raking Glanville over the coals. There is a process available for that to happen absent her weighing in. I believe that going forward the State has been put on notice, and at the first instance of the State being caught engaging in the pattern already demonstrated , she'll declare the mistrial. She'd rightfully be doing what should've already been done, if not for previous complicity from the bench.
As to whether enough of the jury panel hasn't been tainted during the pause to cause a mistrial..., we'll see. It would be a shame for a w/o prejudice mistrial declaration be the result here. The State should be rebuked in the strongest possible way, and not be afforded another bite at this apple.
There’s a lot of logic to this!
Can’t believe this is justice system in the US. Mistrial with PJ.
The sunshine of cameras in the courtroom. 🫡
Is it possible the judge is just doing her job, but at the same time having someone behind the scenes going through all of the transcripts to be as thorough as possible? I mean, that if she was to make a ruling dismissing the case with prejudice, she needs a damn good reason to do so due to the amount of time and resources used to this point. Maybe she is just covering her ass. I would assume that she would have to answer to someone about stopping everything. But I’m no lawyer. I’m going by common sense having no knowledge of how trials work.
So what effect do you think the panel of judges that will hear the President Trump trying to remove the DA?
I did an entire video about that. Very question. Check it out from a couple of months ago.
Also, can Woody watch the redaction hearing? They keep saying if he lays foundation or whatever so now Woody knows what to say and what not to say.
Why hasn't Melnick filed the complaint against Adrian Love with the bar yet? Was that just bluster, or a true intention? Is anyone going to hold her accountable for her misconduct?
Perhaps he has. We don’t know because those are not public.
@@InsideTheLaw Good to know there's still hope, I 'assumed' it would be public.
ADA Love sees the steamroller coming, so she is sacrificing Hilton.
DWC!
What do I think of the new judge? Rot from the top down.
Lawyers do what they want bc there are never consequences. It is an honor system lol unless its incredibly bad.
PHIL HOLLOWAY, IF YOU WOULD HAVE ANSWERED NO TO THAT QUESTION ABOUT THE STATE I WOULD HAVE BEEN GLAD TO CALL YOU A BIG FAT LIAR!!!! THANK GOD YOU WERE HONEST!!!
Well, I’m always honest. However, what question are you referring to?

The law for me, but not for the.
Is there any possibility that she's going to let this charade go on to give the state rope to hang itself so she can make her dismissal of the case with prejudice appeal-proof?
I wonder if Glanville is screwing one or both of the prosecutors! I really wonder that!! That would explain his behavior of letting them get by with murder and basically denying the defense their right to be heard!!!
