Neil newbon (heisenbergs voice actor) is also voicing Nikholai in Re3 remake and Nicole Tompkins (Danielas voice actor) is also voicing Jill valentine in re3 remake
AND Jeff schine (Chris Redfields voice actor) is also voicing Carlos in Re3 remake. Don’t ask how i know about all this I just get really enthusiastic when I enjoy something…

I know there's a ton of talent behind most AAA games, but there's just something special about the folks behind Resident Evil. Everyone is so damn good at what they do, while still being chill as hell and super generous with their fans. I hope this crew stays with the franchise for years to come.
Well... None of them tried to put an effort on doing a *transylvanian accent* ... The game is supposed to take place in Romania... At some point I thought I was in *California* and most of time I heard Carlos Oliveira, Jill Valentine and Nikolaï voice... No immersion at all... Remember Resident Evil 4?
Plenty of *Spanish* pun and accent...

Bruh there’s no rule in media that says characters have to speak a certain way based on where the game takes place. It’s fiction and capcom can do what they want with their creative licenses. Not only that, but to say they didn’t “try” when most likely they voice acted how they were TOLD to by the execs at capcom is just a shitty opinion.

I gotta say, I actually loved just how perfectly Carol Stanzione nailed The Hag's cackle in-game, and I'm actually quite impressed at how easily she's able to channel that cackle here.

Idk what it is about RE8 that’s makes me care about the characters as well as the voice actors on a level deeper than any other game. And I’m not alone here, because I’ve haven’t seen this much adoration for video game voice actors ever.
The fact that Angie and Donna got the least lines is criminal.
Donna only had six words
Thankfully Donna's voice actress, Andi Norris, also voiced Tundra who had more lines.

Why is the voice actor playing Chris so dam dreamy ✨!?!?
RE Village easily has some of the most iconic video game lines in the past few years. They all stick with you even after you’ve beaten the game, and the voice acting really makes the experience memorable.
Seriously? Other than the Duke there are no good lines. Wanna see the best writing in Resident Evil? - check Resident Evil Resistance, it's full of witty lines with fantastic delivery.

I like how Jeff is not even trying (I watched the stream btw), but he's still sounds incredible.
They shouldn’t have cast Jeff as Carlos. He’s an amazing voice actor and he’s awesome, but it ruined the immersion for me cause it’s simply his regular voice like Carlos, minus the dorky lines.
From the 1st Village trailer hearing the very spectrum of *Resident Evil 3 REmake* was bringing us to the very question of the characters development and their *individuality.*
Isn't *reusing* some already *existing attributed voice* a failure on the supposed *immersion* ?
If Resident Evil Village marketing department worked so hard on its new campaign with an *emphasis* on its *mysteries* before its release, why stepping back on the *previous REmake* ?
This step back *diminished* the **hype which makes REvillage sounding too *familiar* before it even came out.
Plus knowing that voices are conveying resonances and *inconsistencies* why ruining the opportunity to bring *Roger Craig Smith?*
Cause he is a union actor and capcom doesn't want to pay some union wages?
Then why not bringing *David Vaughn* from Resident Evil 7?
That would be more authentic.
Neil Newbon *admitted* that he was a freind with some director called Steve on resident evil 3 & Village.
It's obvious that Jeff, Nicole and Neil *stole* the roles that weren't theirs...
They got some special *favours* from their director friend and that is not fairplay.
What's next Ada Wong being Jeff?
In my opinion bringing such *nepotism* on that matter should have been discussed carefully.
There is definitely something fishy behind the V.A. choices for Village
For instance, I liked Carlos Oliveira accent in the original *Resident Evil 3* but they ruined it in the Remake... Carlos has an American standard accent in that version yet Mikhail and Nikolai have some Russian accent which brings us to the very question... Why ?
Why Village V.Acting didn't put an effort on that matter.
I mean the game takes place in *Romania* in a remote Village cut from civilization and modernity, frozen in time during the Victorian period but the Villagers, the villains, Dimitrescu daughters, Heisenberg etc don't have an once of *European Eastern accent* ?
That also kills the immersion as well...
I mean Nikolaï and Heisenberg are dubbed by the same voice actor, Nikolaï has an accent but Heisenberg doesn't?
I really think that the characters development is messed up in Village unfortunately...
Isn't the job of a Voice actor to *work on his vocalization* ?
What's the point doing the exact same voice for different character in the same franchise?
Anyone can do that!
Capcom is always doing unfortunate choices like that... That really sucks...
That aside *Resident Evil Village* Rose was born in *2020* and *Resident Evil 2* Raccoon city mess happened in *1998* but Chris Redfield *Village* is looking like someone else while Village is a *RE7 sequel.*
Why?
Plus Chris who's supposed to be some 50 years old sounds like a much younger over 20 years old Carlos Oliveira in Resident Evil 3 remake... Where is the voice acting on that?
No range between the voices, no variations no differences at all... That was a perfect opportunity to keep Carlos accent tho!!
Why would Chris change between Village and RE7 ??
*Resident Evil 5* takes place *many years* after the Spencer Mansion Event tho... Chris isn't buff until RE5!

A *Biohazard* without *b.o.w* can't be a true *Biohazard* game...
I remembered watch a video about Maggie (Lady D's voice actor) reacting to some comments about Lady D, one of the comments said "I want Lady D to step on me all day." And she said: "Play the game and she will," that was perfect, love it!
Love all of these. Goes to show you Voice Actors and Actresses are a breed apart from us peasants.

I love Heisenbergs voice, I suspect he played Nikolai in RE3 remake, something he said gave it away in the game, it sounded similar to Nikolai for just a second. Okay I love Lady Dimitrescu even more now. WHat an awesome voice and beautiful woman.

This was great. I'm replaying the game for the 2nd time i absolutely love it. I'm a huge resident evil fan and have been for a long time. Lady D has to be without a doubt my fav character in this game. I'm playing it on all difficulties first was easy then standard then hard then village of shadows wich is gonna be a nightmare but I'm gonna enjoy every bit of it. You've got yourself a new subscriber.

Was hard to not watch these clips before playing Re. Village because I was very interestedin the mo cap aspect. Can tell its taken a very, very long time to get this talented. Interested to see their future future projects, especially in videogames
