THANK YOU! My uncle gave me Gluck, Boccherini, Pachelbel, Schütz, Palestrina, Ockeghem and Buxtehude, but above all he introduced me to Telemann, his personal favourite. We all know J.S. Bach, Mozart, Händel and Vivaldi, but Telemann is sadly unknown to many - yet he's one of the all time greatest composers! His music sends me into a time and space of complete bliss...

Jamais Telemann ne se satisfera de sa technique ni de son art de jouer. Ca lui paraissait toujours en deçà de son ambition comme de son idéal, s'il travaillait avec acharnement, le résultat inévitablement le décevait. Tout ce qu'il créait le frustrait, il lui a toujours semblé qu'il pouvait mieux faire, "mieux voir" ... Mais il fut et reste précurseur et visionnaire de son époque !

Great uploud but something strange has happened here. The first movement, Allegro assai, of the string divertomento TWV 50:B23 is missing, instead we hear the first movement, Affettouso, from the recorder concerto TWV 51:F1.
