Just moved to Chandler last year from one of the most expensive and worthless places on earth that is LA. Phoenix is gonna be one of the best kept secret of the country with abundance of jobs, relatively cheap living, and incredible diversity!
I live in chandler in 1993 to 1996 so much has changed since.

I lived there, went to Chandler high, 47 years ago,I got a job after school and on the weekends at Williams A.F.B. I like that town.Lots of great memories.Ditching school to go north to spend the day at oak creek canyon, filling the back of the truck with snow to take back to Chandler, crazy kid stuff, but way to much fun. Spending an entire day tubbing on the salt and Verde rivers, camp out for the weekend. The trout from the upper lakes Canyon,Apache would make a great meal.Hamm's Pony kegs. Ok I am ready to go back and visit for a while. Thank you for your video, it has taken me back in time. I do not recognise most of the town, even downtown looks so different.
AZ is a beautiful place. You only need to bear 3-mos of extreme heat.....better than a snow but other than that, it has a perfect weather the rest of the year. It's landscape is so diverse. If you want to experience snow during the winter, just drive up 2 to 3 hours north on the mountain to experience it, or go skiing and other winter activities. Just like you said, it's a perfect place to raise a child. Lots of outdoor activities. I lived in the neighboring town of Gilbert for 12 years now.
Exactly. If you want snow drive to the mountains. I am in NJ and I hate the snow canceling my plans and making me fear my life when I get stuck driving and it starts snowing. Hate it so much. I want to be a snowbird in AZ one day soon.
I use to live there east sparrow place it is on of my favorite state ever i now live in tennesse but i defintly miss chandler

Nice! My family grew up in MN and I grew up in chandler
I've been living in Chandler for almost 4 years now only because my husband's office is in Chandler, but now we both work fully remote, and while it can be quite beautiful here, there's not much to do in Chandler. Actually, this video shows almost everything there is to see around here. My husband says the whole state is just a destination for retirees and we are in our early 30's so we should move. I went from just sad working days to clinical depression so my psychologist advised us to move to a more walkable place, do more outdoor or fun activities, and get away from the heat and the dated and sad surroundings. Not to offend Chandler lovers, it could be great living here for some, but it's just not for us.
I watch your videos all the time! My husband and I are from NY and we did a road trip back in august of 2021 from NY to AZ. It was truly the best thing we ever did. The very first day we were in AZ, we were having breakfast at Egg N Joe in Gilbert (Delicious!) after we ordered our food and we were just sitting there taking it all in and looking at our surroundings, we knew in that moment that we could see ourselves living there. We have been trying to manifest it ever since! Watching these videos really help me get an idea of where we want to live and what spots we want to visit. Thank you so much and keep em coming! :)
Chandler is a great place to live. Lots of manufacturing, professional and entry level service work. North Chandler is you're cheapest option to live. Ocotillo area can get pricy. Lots of farm properties in south Chandler if you want to spend over $600,000. Downtown Chandler is nice with lots of great restaurants. The areas around downtown Chandler is a little dated and can be sketchy at night. Also 20 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes form downtown Phoenix. It is 1 hour to Glendale to see major sports.

I grew up in Chandler, Arizona starting in the early 1980s through 1996 - so much has changed.
I’m watching from Detroit, moving to AZ in the fall of 2021. I actually stayed in Phoenix for a month an a half during the summer. I fell in love with the mountains and also the people, felt very comfortable.
Oh nice! I’m from Michigan! I’ve been here for 6 years and I love it here. The main reason why I love living here is that weather here is better than MI. Hope you’ll enjoy ur life here soon!

I've lived in Chandler for the past 25 years. Even with a population of 260,000 Chandler it has a hometown atmosphere. You won't find a better managed city. Officials have a significantly great amount of pride in how Chandler has grown and how it will grow in the future.
I’m in southern Chandler about 5 miles from the Veterans Oasis Park. I was just there over the weekend. I been living here for 3 months now and love it here, great video. I still have other places in Chandler that I need to explore still.

Live in Vanc, WA across Columbia River divides us. Looking for area w/ above min wage jobs, still have 3-4yrs until retire per SS. Not too many areas stick out for me except Chandler, Gilbert, Peoria (decent employment w/ affordable hlth insurance is a must) deadline to move out currently residing is Mar 2022. Will see what Chandler’s employment/cost of living holds as this yr comes to an end. Appreciate these videos!

Watching from Chicago. Hubby has family in the Chandler area so we visited them (me for the first time) this past March. I loved it, n we’re currently working on the logistics of moving there b4 the end of 2021. I vote red too! Thank u for the excellent videos!
We moved here in 2000 to take advantage of an opportunity within my company and haven't looked back. Chandler is a great city to live in. Its of great parks, access to the major highways, and the local food and brewery culture is vibrant. 5 hours from San Diego and Vegas, a few hours to Rocky Point. Flagstaff, Sedona and Tucson day trips are fun, and the Grand Canyon. Life is great here. Make sure you have a pool, though pool pool lol

I have lived in Arizona since 1969. Chandler was a rundown area in the 70s but that has changed. Surprise is nice but I grew up in Tempe and now live in Central Phoenix. Where I live 35th Ave between Thomas and Mcdowell. My neighborhood is old but extremely quiet. Most of the families that live here have lived here for 40 or more years. We often get a bad rap. My last name is Hispanic but that's who I married I am white and have had no problems here

I was in Chandler from July to early Oct 2014, it was throughout hot and very hot .
I did not have chance to feel Chandler winter time though.
Lee lee Market was where I did buy the most for groceries.
My senior co work took me to Grand Canyon the weather between north Arizona vs az valley like chandler are way up too differences.
Along the way to grand canyon is full of pines tree and rarely saw any town or community.

Arizona such a beautiful place, originally I was born in Maricopa county of Phoenix but I grew up in Houston Texas specifically Harris county live there for a little over forty years.
To this day I still would never know why my mother chose to live in Houston Texas over Phoenix Arizona is beyond me. But I guess she wanted to get away from her peoples. But it doesn't matter, one day when I save enough money and build my way up, I hope to move back to the place I was born in which is Phoenix. All of the areas out there are beautiful especially Scottsdale since I still have it on my radar. 🎯

You give up that humidity and gain some heat. It's like living in the snow belt but backwards. You go from your air conditioned car to your air conditioned car to your air conditioned job and stop at the air conditioned store on the way home.
I just moved here to Chandler from Orange County as well. My wife and I love it so far! It is a little warmer but not as bad as i thought it would be. Plus you don't have to deal with the fires.

At nearly a quarter million population, and so close to Phoenix, this area is just way too big and populated for me (and a bit expensive, housing-wise). But it is a cool looking town. BTW... Thursday morning I start my trek across CA to AZ, following the 10, then up toward Congress and Yarnell on my way to Prescott. Can’t wait to spend a full week up in Prescott and visiting the surrounding areas of Jerome, Cottonwood, Sedona, the lakes, etc. Then three days at the GC. I much-needed vaca, with my camera equipment in hand. 📷😎
