I have to say in another timeline it would have been great if the idea of another sister being introduced while prue was still alive. paige could have came in season 3 and while she was trying to work out thr complications of her having sisters since she was half white lighter she could have been on her own journey of self discovery while bonding with prue, piper and phoebe and then when prue would eventually die they could have made paige a charmed one. i know they would have never thought of the character of paige if shannen wasn't fired but it would have still worked
@@jackkolero I also felt as if it was because Prue and Piper were by themselves without Phoebe for awhile. Like Phoebe knew how to live by herself, its why she felt Prue's loss differently to Piper.

Piper was very dependent on Prue. Now as the oldest, she had to learn confidence and independence.
Piper always looked up to Prue as leader. With Prue gone, no Patty and Grams, i take it she said that as not knowing how to be the new leader.
