Happy to see the Kemp/Payton Sonics on here.
I'd also include the mid 2000s Pistons for just for the sheer smothering defensive prowess that we haven't been allowed to see in the years since. And from a team composed of scrappy underdogs, cast-offs and rejects with chips on their shoulders playing for a blue collar city that often feels as if the world is against it.

The '12 Heat would get a high ranking on my personal list, that's literally the team that got me back into basketball

Good list! It might not exactly fit the term "entertaining", but the more years pass, the more I appreciate the playstyle of the 2003-2004 Pistons. This is a stark contrast to the more offensive-minded teams that would usually come to mind, but I really enjoyed their suffocating defense and the constant battles that were fought in the paint.

However, over time, I came to appreciate and deeply respect them. They were incredible. I remember Shaq getting past double and triple teams and always wondering how anyone could stop him. I also was amazed by Kobe.
I was too young to have watched the Showtime Lakers, but I've seen clips of them and they were really fun to watch. They, like the 2013-14 Spurs, played beautiful basketball.

93&94 Phoenix Suns were a lot of fun to watch. Worthy of a place here or maybe Top 10.
Barkley had his highlights and was on a mission, Richard Dumas was doing mad dunks, Majerle was a glimpse into the future, and when KJ played he did KJ things. Plus Ainge was causing trouble in all kinds of ways.

The 96 bulls have to be on my list. Amazing offensive execution and passing. Plus you get the honor of watching prime MJ with his absolutely perfected fadeaway, which I would pay good money to see by itself. And add to that the insanity that was Dennis Rodman, who was the most entertaining defensive/hustle player of all time. The 96 bulls were to ultimate must see tv. So much so that non basketball fans would get together and watch their games. I remember as a kid having the entire family get together to watch it, even my sisters and aunts who never watched a game before or since. It was that special.

Showtime Lakers are a given on any list they lived up to their name and then some
Personally I would take the 2001 Lakers over 2000 just cause the 2001 playoffs Shaq and Kobe peaked as a duo
Also bias-ly loved the 2010 Lakers as much as any team.
Kobe was Kobe the most dynamic offensive player in history, and always had me flabbergasted with all the moves he could pull off and hit amazing shot after amazing shot
Gasol played the right way and fit together with Kobe like PB&J his game was like poetry combing skill, size, and was one of the greatest passing big man in history
Artest was trying to redeem himself and was playing texbook quintessential defense, bit erratic on offense but he played with heart and passion lead to him making clutch plays in the playoffs. Ariza the year before was great too but I slightly prefer Artest
Odom was a point forward and a swiss army knife in terms of roles you could use him for, great lefty finisher too
Bynum was one of the last traditional Centers and had an amazing low post game along with Gasol making for a very entertaining twin tower duo
Then of course you had Fisher with his clutch shooting and high bball IQ, Shannon Brown with his freak athleticism
Also feel like I have to mention the Bulls with MJ the Basketball God and living highlight reel, Pippen the og point forward while being the best lockdown defender in his era and maybe even history, and then for the second 3peat you had Rodman being Rodman nuff said

This is a tough list to make. I would want to have more than 6 teams. The early 2000's Chris Webber,Bibby,Stojakovic era Kings were really good. Same with that era for the Blazers. 86 and 87 Celtics were also really fun to watch. My hot take of the list.....2004 Lakers when they got Gary Payton and Karl Malone. That opening game was one of the most fun and exciting games that I've ever seen. When all 4 of the hall of fame players were on the court it was a passing exhibition and opposing teams just chose who got to burn them that night. Karl Malone in particular stepped his passing game up and took it to new heights. IIRC those 4 HoF players only played 27 games together that season. That's what went wrong with that team. The lineups were always in flux and really only 2 to 3 of those guys would be healthy at a time for most of the season. Who was going to carry the team from night to night was always something that they were trying to figure out. The team that beat them in the finals had the exact opposite situation. All of those guys were unselfish and healthy and you never knew who was going to beat you on any given night. 4 guys who could hit the game winner and one of the greatest defenders of all time anchoring the post. I hate to say it, but I would even add the 2004 Pistons to the list. They are one of the finest examples of team basketball that I've ever seen.

me personally as a newer nba fan (like started watching 2 or 3 years ago) i love the 2014 thunder, seeing the young athletic all stars was incredible and they put on hell of a show. also a good prime year of old “biggest heart” russell westbrook. also gotta love the 2012 or 13 heat team it really depends on if you like seeing lebron go ham every game or if you wanted to see lebron and wade both beating the hell out of teams. please don’t hurt me for not watching basketball for like 50 years and asking if i’ve watched like the 1950 bob cousy led mfs cuz i didn’t nor do i plan on doing that.

For now, the team that entertained me the most by watching their games (not only NBA):
honorable mentions : 1972-73 Knicks, 1974-76 Celtics, late 60'/early 70' Lakers and Celtics, 1990 CSP Limoges.
    #10 1996-1998 Bulls
#9 1993 CSP Limoges (with Olajuwon and Drexler's ex-Houston Cougars Temate Michael Young, beating Sabonis's Real Madrid in Euroleague Semi and Kukoc's Benetton Treviso in final).
    #8 1995 Rockets
    #7 Mid 2010 Warriors
#6 1987&1989 Greek squad : an almost Nikos Galis one man show (87' Euro Camps beating Petrovic, Kukoc, Divac and Radja Yougoslavia, then USSR with Marculionis but without sabonis, 89 finalist, Beating URSS with Sabonis, 6'0" Galis putting 45 point mostly midrange and in the paint against 2 >7' foot guys, but failing in final with a Galis (30pts) vs Petrovic (28pts) duel !)
#5 mid 80'lakers when they trade Nixon and put Worthy and Scott in the starting lineup
#4 1988-1990 Pistons especially when they trade Dantley for Aguirre
    #3 2000 Lakers (2001 also)
#2 1982-1984 North Carolina with Jordan, Perkins, Worthy, then Kenny Smith and Brad Daugherty, facing many future all of famers and legend (Olajuwon, Drexler, Ewing, Sampson, Price, Wilkins, Webb, Mullin, Bias).
#1 1990-1992 Duke (a cool and well balanced team, with epic games, and facing futur stars like Shaq, Larry Johnson, Webber&Howard&Rose.

Lob City Clippers, RunTMC, 96 Bulls, Shaq&Penny, Vince's Raptors, AI's Sixers, JWill on the Kings, Dominique's Hawks, Clyde's Blazers, The small ball Rockets, The Suns late 90's team that started 4 guards, Kidd's Nets teams lobbing to Jefferson and Martin.. I am sure I missed a lot.

I would’ve mentioned any Jordan Bulls team as the #1 team to watch! They were just fun to watch! Jordan was so entertaining, along with Rodman and Pippen. San Antonio was the most boring team to watch 😅in my humble opinion. You usually do well with your list, but I’m perplexed by this. The 2000 Sacramento Kings were another fun team to watch.

I appreciate, like a lot, the fact you showed Jason Williams in the sacramento jersey during the intro.
But yeah, this is the list where that Sacramento's soul should have been immortalized. But the Suns blablablala.
Those Scramaneto were entertainment itself and big promoters of the fast, move, shine.
I literally stopped watching basketball after the Lakers Sac robbery, but yeah, mesmerizing Warriors were noisy enough that I was pulled back in.

You should also do the most boring teams of all time. :) The 88-90 Bad Boy Pistons, 1993 Knicks, 1998 Utah Jazz, etc. One beat you up every possession and another ran the same play every possession and just fundamentaled you to death. Every time you'd look up at the TV, someone was shooting free throws.
They were like watching Floyd Mayweather fights.
