He totally nailed his role, what a good actor.
Even though he does the best he could playing Charles Xavier that role doesn't shine like his role in Filth. Very underrated actor that needs more well developed character roles.
This movie absolutely broke me, James was incredible in it.
He should have got BAFTA nomination or Golden globe... I don´t get it he´s such a great actor and in Filth his performance was outstanding

Any adjective or superlative I would use to describe James' performance in this film would be an underestimation... Its my new favorite film.
Filth is entirely fucked up and amazing. It turned out to be exactly what I thought it would be.

Just finished the book myself. I think Bruce is less sympathetic than he is in the movie. The murder victim is black in the book, and the case has a much more important impact on the plot. I loved the movie, but I wish it was long enough to incorporate everything in the movie. He has a tapeworm throughout the entire book that has a conscious
